Liu Longwei smiled in response before saying, "We are going to have breakfast first, and then I will come up to do a little bit it of tidying and after that, I will put on a shoe, so you can remove your shoes for now and put on that smaller pair of flip-flops, because the bigger one is smile. You can come up to wear your shoes after breakfast".

While talking about the flip-flops, Liu Longwei pointed at the two pairs of white flip-flops that were close to the door. Chen Lihua followed his hands with her eyes and was surprised when she saw the flip-flops.

"When did it get up here because I didn't see it". Chen Lihua questioned.

"The maid brought it up when you were dressing. And I bet you wouldn't even see it as you were to angry to bother about anything". Liu Longwei replied.

Chen Lihua stared at his face for few seconds before inquiring, "How did you know I was angry?".

Liu Longwei sat beside her in the bed while leaving an appropriate distance, "Very simple, your face showed it and your tone when you talked. Now hurry up so we can go down for breakfast".

"Oh". With that reply, Chen Lihua removed her shoes and went into the walk-in closet, few seconds later she came out and saw Liu Longwei already wearing one of the pairs of flip-flops on his feet and a phone in his hands.

"Let's go". Liu Longwei said and opened the door. When Chen Lihua saw that he had already opened the door, she hurriedly picked up her phone as well and wore the her own flip-flops before following him out of the room.

Going down the stairs, Chen Lihua followed behind him and on reaching the dining table, she saw a middle aged woman bringing out their breakfast from the kitchen.

When the woman heard footsteps, she looked up after dropping some plates filled with food on the dining table.

On seeing them, she smiled and greeted them, "Good morning Sir, Good morning Ma".

Liu Longwei nodded without even bothering to smile, he went to sit on the dining chair. While Chen Lihua gave a polite smile and replied with a good morning before walking off to sit on the dining table as well".

On the dining table, there were plates of western breakfast and fruit slices in them.

Chen Lihua was happy seeing a hearty meal on the table. But because she was used to seeing and having that kind of breakfast in the Chen Villa and coupled with her upbringing, she didn't drool and instead felt delighted.

"Am farmished already". Chen Lihua said still looking at the food on the table.

"Go ahead and eat up if you're hungry then". Liu Longwei said gesturing with his hands.

"Thanks then". Chen Lihua said and Liu Longwei replied with 'You're welcome'.

As Chen Lihua was about picking up a piece of apple with her fork, she received a call.

Her movements stopped and then she dropped her fork and and picked up her phone that was on the dining table.

She glanced at the screen and saw the name 'Lady Chen' on it, she sighed and rejected the call immediately.

She then attempted to pick up her fork again, but her phone rang again, and this time around, Liu Longwei looked up at her.

Chen Lihua didn't even look at him instead, she glanced at her phone and when she still saw the name 'Lady Chen' displayed on the screen, she muttered under her breath, "Doesn't this woman know when to give up?".

Liu Longwei heard her and was surprised while wondering the identity of the woman she talked about.

Chen Lihua used her fork to pick up a piece of apple before putting it in her mouth and then, she picked up the call while munching her apple.

Immediately the call was picked, Lady Chen's voice came through, "Lihua why didn't you pick up my call, I've been trying to contact you, Are you still angry with me?".

Chen Lihua chewed on the apple in her mouth and swallowed it before opening her mouth to say, "Lady Chen am having my breakfast now, could you please call back later so I wouldn't loose my appetite, could you please doe that favor?".

When Chen Lihua said the words 'Lady Chen', Liu Longwei continued with his breakfast and still continued listening to Chen Lihua's words while wondering what was going on between the mother and daughter.

As Lady Chen heard Chen Lihua's words, she said immediately, "It will only take a minute, pretty please".

Lady Chen waited for a reply anxiously like a subject that did something wrong and was waiting for the Emperor's verdict.

Hearing pretty please, Chen Lihua paused before saying 'Go ahead', before putting another piece of apple in her mouth.
