Asst Duyi got into the car and drove off.

The two (Liu Longwei and Chen Lihua) watched the car drive away till it left their sight.

They guards patrolling outside, greeted them amicably.

There was no spare slippers for Chen Lihua to wear so, Liu Longwei let her go in like that.

Liu Longwei also didn't bother changing his shoes so, both husband and wife went into the living room with their shoes stuck to their feet.

Liu Longwei left Chen Lihua's traveling bag beside her and went to the kitchen to get a glass of fruit juice for her.

When Liu Longwei left, Chen Lihua familiarized herself with what she was seeing by looking around.

In no time, Liu Longwei returned with a glass of fruit juice and handed it to Chen Lihua.

"Thank you". And with that, Chen Lihua took the juice from him.

Chen Lihua drank half of the juice before handing it back to Liu Longwei, "Am OK, I can't drink anymore".

Hearing her explanation, Liu Longwei took the glass cup from her.

He held the glass cup to his lips, he placed his lips on another side of the glass different from the side Chen Lihua drank from, and with that, he finished the juice.

Chen Lihua watched him drink the remaining juice up.

Liu Longwei brought the empty glass away from from his lips and caught Chen Lihua looking at him.

So he asked, "Why are you looking at me like that?".

Chen Lihua said, "Nothing".

Liu Longwei didn't believe Chen Lihua's reply. He knew she was surprised that she drank the remaining juice, so he explained, "Although am wealthy, but I don't like wasting resources. So I had to finish up your drink because you're my wife and there's nothing wrong with that".

Chen Lihua nodded her head to show that she understood what he was saying.

Chen Lihua was actually really surprised that Liu Longwei drank from the same cup as she did.

She would have been more shocked if Liu Longwei had drank from the same side of the glass as she did but luckily for her heart, he didn't.

Chen Lihua thought that if she was to be in his shoes, she would have poured the remaining Juice into the sink without batting an eye because to her, they (Chen Lihua and Liu Longwei) were not close.
