"Am still not satisfied with it" Liu Longwei said.

"But am satisfied with it and that's all that matters" Chen Lihua replied as a matter of fact. ​​

On seeing that things were not in her favour anymore, she threatened Liu Longwei, "if you call Lady Chen and tell her about buying a car for me, I will run away before you come back from your business trip".

When Asst Duyi heard Chen Lihua's threatening words, he was shocked, he couldn't help but think if the young madam just threatened the cold stoned Boss.

Anybody that has threatened the boss before does not exist on planet earth'.

Liu Longwei stared at the woman by his side in disbelief he couldn't help but ask, "Did you just threaten me?".

"No, how could I. In fact, who am I?, I was just trying to negotiate with you". Chen Lihua with a serious expression on her face, still hiding the phone at her back.

Liu Longwei and Chen Lihua just stared at each other for seconds.

Feeling the silence, Asst Duyi decided to interrupt, "Boss, should I still give the phone to you?".

At his words, the couple turned to look at him.

Chen Lihua rolled her eyes at him, while Liu Longwei asked, "Are you mad?, Since your brain has come to a halt, I have no use for it hence, your salary will have to come to a halt as well".

Seeing as he was being attacked by the couple and that his salary was about to be cut off, Asst Duyi quickly apologized and shut his mouth.

He remained invincible throughout the journey to the restaurant.

Liu Longwei and Chen Lihua turned back to look at each other.

Liu Longwei gave up looking at Chen Lihua and said, "Alright I give up, hurry up and return the phone to me, I won't call Lady Chen to complain about you anymore".

"Are you sure?" Chen Lihua asked.

"Yes, trust my words" Liu Longwei said reassuringly .

"But I really don't want to trust your words". Chen Lihua said shaking her head.

"You really have no choice right now, but if you don't return the phone to me, Do you believe I won't call Lady Chen with Asst Duyi's phone and complain about you and also tell her you threatened to run away, how does that sound?" Liu Longwei asked.

Upon seeing her shocked face, Liu Longwei said, "how about giving my phone to me now so we can settle this matter amicably?".

Seeing as the tables has turned around and she was now the person being threatened, Chen Lihua gave the phone back to him, "Take your phone".

After she returned the phone to Liu Longwei, Chen Lihua watched him till he put the phone back into his suit pocket before shifting her gaze to the window.

Naturally, Liu Longwei noticed Chen Lihua's gaze but decided not to say anything.

Silence engulfed the car before it was broken by Liu Longwei.

Liu Longwei stared at the glasses on Chen Lihua's eyes and couldn't help but feel bothered about it, "Liihua, do you always put on this medicated glasses?".

Chen Lihua shifted her gaze from the window to him, "No, I wear the glasses when my eyes are about to be stressed out or before I enter any bright place. Are you bothered about the glasses?".

"No, I was just asking to understand your condition better even though, your mother has said one or two things about it to me" Liu Longwei replied.

Chen Lihua nodded her head in acknowledgement.
