Lady Chen entered the room and saw Chen Lihua already dressed in a white sleeveless blouse and a pair of blue jean trouser with a black belt secured appropriately on her waist accompanied with a pair of white flats on her feet.

She gave Chen Lihua a thumbs up on her outfit, actually in her mind. ​​

She didn't have any reason to scold her and could only urge her to hurry up.

Chen Lihua picked up her eye glasses she left on the table before going to take her bath and placed it over her eyes.

Lady Chen saw the glasses on Chen Lihua's eyes and made a mental note to get rid of them for today.

Chen Lihua quickly walked towards her bed and picked up a small white shoulder bag containing her eye glass case, phone, credit card, a small jotter and a pen.

As if remembering something, she walked to the drawer on her table, pulled it open and took out her car keys.

Seeing a set of car keys on Chen Lihua's hands, Lady Chen asked calmly, "Hua'er what are you doing with those keys?".

Chen Lihua answered swiftly, "To drive us to the mall".

Lady Chen asked, "Are you trying to show people your driving skills?, please keep those keys, we are going with the chauffeur".

Chen Lihua obediently kept the keys back and followed her mother out.

When they got downstairs, Chen Lihua saw her mother walking towards the big door leading outside, she called out.

"Lady Chen, are we not having breakfast? " Chen Lihua asked pointing towards the dining table covered with an English style breakfast.

On hearing Chen Lihua's words, she glared at Chen Lihua and walked back to where she was standing and dragged her hand while pulling her with her towards the entrance as she retorted.

"You still have the guts to feel hungry when we are late?".

Chen Lihua replied unhappily, "But mum, my stomach is empty and am so hungry that if I don't eat on time, my stomach walls will start secreting acid and at the end of the day, it will lead to stomach ulcer".

Hearing Chen Lihua's words, Lady Chen paused before turning back and instructing Butler Li that was following behind them to send a maid to bring few pieces of sandwich and two cups of milkshake for the two of them.

Without waiting to see if Butler Li had left, she continued dragging Chen Lihua towards the Mercedes Benz that was packed outside.

The middle aged driver standing beside the car opened the car door for them and lady Chen immediately shoved Chen Lihua inside and sat down beside her while waiting for their breakfast.

Chen Lihua paused her lips speechlessly while wondering why her mother was so much in a hurry and thought that her mother couldn't wait to shove her into a man's(Liu Longwei) embrace.

As soon as she finished thinking, Butler Li came over to the car with house keeper Zin who was holding a two disposable cups containing milkshake and a lunch box containing 4 pieces of sandwich.

House keeper Zin passed the breakfast to Madam Chen while the driver closed the car door for them (lady Chen and Lihua) and walked over to the driver's side, entered the car and drove off.

As the car entered the main road, Chen Lihua couldn't wait any longer and opened the lunch box picking her own share of sandwich, she started started eating it while taking sips from her milk shake from time to time.

Lady Chen joined Chen Lihua and they both had their breakfast in silence after which they neatly kept the empty containers on one side of the car.

As they traveled on in silence, Lady Chen's phone suddenly rang displaying the caller ID 'Liu Bilu'.

Lady Chen picked the call happily and greeted "Hello Bilu"

Madam Liu answers excitedly, "I will come with Longwei to collect the marriage certificate, am already so excited that I had to order a Canon camera and it arrived some minutes ago. I want to personally take many pictures of Longwei and Lihua".

Lady Chen smiles happily while looking at Lihua she replies "good good, Ah! Bilu you are really thinking ahead of me. Am already in the car with Hua'er, we are on away to the beauty salon, from there I'll take her to the shopping mall to change her outfit.

"OK no problem, we all will meet in front of the Service bureau by 12pm to collect the marriage certificate. I want to speak with Lihua, give the phone to her". Madam Liu replies happily.

Chen Lihua has long known that her mother was speaking with her future mother in-law.

So, when Lady Chen handed the phone to her, she responded immediately. "Good morning Aunty, how are you doing?"

"Am doing great, I know you are doing great as well. Am so happy that I can't wait to bring you home. I won't disturb you today, I'll be waiting for you and your mother, take care of yourself goodbye".

"Thank you Aunty bye" Chen Lihua replied and returned the phone to her mother.

Lady Chen took the phone and spoke a few more words with madam Liu before terminating the call.

After speaking with madam Liu, she turned towards Chen Lihua and said "Hua'er have you seen that your mother in-law cares for you so, once we step out from this car, drop this childish attitude of yours and behave like an elegant lady you are".

Chen Lihua frowned a little while listening to her mother and responded quickly "Lady Chen you don't have to remind me, I already know what to do and besides, I only behave childish in your presence, as am your only child".

As Chen Lihua finished her speech, she turned her head around to face the window.

Lady Chen noticed that Chen Lihua's mood was down and had to apologize to her.

Lady Chen moved closer to Chen Lihua, dragged her towards her body and hugged her while patting her back affectionately.

She consoled her while saying ,"My Lihua, My only baby, the only Lily in my life, am sorry OK? forgive mommy. Mommy will not shout at you again, I will not talk to you anyhow again OK?

As Chen Lihua listened to her mother's words, she smiled brightly while nodding her head like a child.

Then she lifted her head and pecked her mother on her cheek, smiling she said, "mother still loves me the most".

"Of course mother loves you the most" Lady Chen smiled affectionately and pecked Chen Lihua on her forehead.

Chen Lihua and lady Chen are very close since they had to rely on each other.

Chen Lihua stayed in her mother's embrace till the got to one of the biggest mall in city B which is under the Chen Group.

The chauffeur dropped them in front of the mall and went to park the car.
