Journey Towards Greatness Chapter 115

As he was about to leave to the middle of the island he heard a call from behind, it came from Latios and Latias, both of them came towards Julian and rubbed their head on his hand to show their appreciation towards his help.
Julian smiled and turned around to leave but he felt one of them holding on to his sleeve, he turned around to see Latios holding on to his sleeve with his mouth.
Julian [What is it?]
Julian used telepathy and tried to talk with Latios.
Latios looked at Latias and said something to her, Latias soon flew away towards the west in super speed.
Julian was confused as he didn't know what was happening, soon Latias came back with something in her mouth, it looked like a small wooden trident but the blades were reversed, Latias got closer and Julian was able to see what it is, it is actually a flute.
Latios took the flute from Latias and gave it to Julian.
Latios [This is the Eon Flute, whenever you play it no matter where you are I will come to help you]
Julian was surprised by this gift but he happily accepted it.
Julian [Thank you]
Julian said his thanks and turned around to leave but his sleeve was caught again, he again turned around to see Latios holding his sleeve with his mouth.
Latios signaled Julian to sit on him, Julian looked at Latios then hopped onto his back, Latios levitated up and shoot through the air in extreme speed, Julian covered himself with Omniforce as he had never experienced traveling in speeds compared to this, Latios reached the middle of the island under a minute, Julian was really shocked by the speed Latios could fly, the Island was very big but Latios still covered it within a minute and he didn't even fly at full speed.
Latios dived down and Julian jumped off from Latios and watched him vanish into the sky again.
Julian looked at the flute in his hand and felt some kind of power emitting from it, the power resonated with Latios and Latias, the flute looked like it is made up of wood but Julian was surprised to find how hard it actually is, it's even harder than Tungsten.

Julian kept the flute inside his dimensional pouch and slowly walked towards the main camp when he reached there he saw lots of grunts carrying pickaxes and shovels with them, there were also two commanders discussing something silently.
Julian silently sneaked into one of the camps main tent by knocking a grunt down and when he went inside he found some document and a computer which was locked, Julian didn't have any time to hack the computer so he quickly went through the documents to get a rough understanding about how the Shadows operate.
One more thing Julian noticed was that even the grunts had rankings between them, the lowest level grunts had single strap sleeve they were completely amateur, then came two strap sleeve grunts who were a little more experienced and had completed a number of missions which lead to their promotions, then came the three strapped sleeve grunts who were the experienced members of the Shadows, they were the one tasked with major missions under a commander's watch.
(Chole was also a three strapped sleeve grunt if she had completed few missions she would have become a commander).
10 One Strapped Grunts were under a single Two strapped Grunt, and 10 Two Strapped Grunts were under a Three Strapped Grunt, and these Three Strapped Grunts were under the commanders.
Julian read through the document and found out that the Shadows are planning for world domination and they have something within their grasp that might help them achieve it, it was not specified what it was but it was related to their purpose of collecting so many Mega Stones.
Julian 'What is this thing they hold which can help them in world domination?'
Julian thought about it and he suddenly started to frown.
Julian 'If they really are trying to achieve world domination then there will be war'
Julian thought about his old self and how war had affected him, even though he is completely different from his old self he still doesn't want to experience war again.
Julian 'Looks like my dream of traveling around the world peacefully is just a dream'
Julian kept back the documents and was now trying to figure out how to get rid of these members of Shadow Legion from this island, he knew that he cannot let them collect more mega stone or the fate of this world may change completely.

He silently walked out of the tent and looked at the commanders talking with each other.
Tegio "Hey butch where is Brad?"
Butch "I don't know, he should have updated us about the situation by now"
Tegio "Has something happened to him?"
Butch "Who cares he just was promoted to commander, I thought it was just waste for him to given a Mega stone if he dies no one will care about him but the admins will surely be pissed if they cannot find the mega stone on him"
Tegio "Haha you are right, he is useless but I think we should still check on him or Admin Eleanor won't be happy with us"
Butch "You are right, try contacting him on the communicator"
Tegio "Ok.... Brad are you there? Brad.. can you hear me, is there anything to report?"
Butch and Tegio frowned as they didn't receive any answer.
Butch "Why is he not answering back?"
Tegio "What's his assigned coordinates?"
Butch "I believe its South East"
Tegio "South East? Let me contact Zaily she is the nearest one to him"
Tegio "Zaily, have you seen Brad?.....Zaily? Zaily? Zaily, are you there?"
Now both of them were worried, Zaily was also not answering, Zaily was one of the prime commanders of Shadows and if anything happens to her that would be a big loss to their syndicate.
Butch "Try contacting Zabak, he might have some clue"
They tried to contact Zabak but they didn't receive any answers from him as well, Zabak was also a prime commander of shadow and he held more power than any other commander in Shadow.
Now they were completely worried, out of fifteen commanders seven of them were assigned to come to this island and now three of them are not answering back, both Tegio and Butch are assigned to take care of the main camp and the other two commanders are with Admin Eleanor inside the shrine.
Butch "Contact Admin, inform her about this"
Tegio "Wait, I will do it right now"
While Tegio was trying to contact their admin Butch was worried sick.
Butch "What really happened to all three of them, are there ant intruders?"
Tegio "I cannot contact her, she must have gone past the communicator's range"
Butch "Shit, from what I know Admin instructed one of them to chase down Latias and Latios, something definitely must have happened"
Tegio "What do we do? We cannot abandon or post like this, one of us have to stay here while the other has to go and check on them"
Butch stayed silent, he knew this was the only solution but he didn't want to go and check on them, the same thing goes to Tegio he didn't want to go as well.
Butch "Ok, you should go and check on them"
Tegio "Why should I go, you should be the one, aren't you always boasting how strong you and your pokemons are"
Butch and Tegio were having a quarrel right now and Julian was sitting on a tree watching these two fools while eating some chocolates.
Julian 'So there are two more commanders and one Admin'
Julian looked straight and saw a tower which had been carved by ancient writings 200 meters away from his viewpoint.
Julian 'They said that they lost communication, it must mean that the shrine is built underground and is very deep'
Julian took the communicator he took from one of the grunts and saw that they were all high-end.
Julian 'Even this high-end communicator cannot reach the other side, just how big is this piece of meteorite or Island if I must say'
Julian 'It also looks like people from the ancient time lived here but now they have disappeared and this island is lost from the modern day, the barrier covering the island is very strange as well just like the one from the unknown forest'
Julian just sat on the branch of the tree and looked at Tegio and Butch, they argued for a while and finally came to a conclusion.
They both decided to leave as they can't afford to go alone and placed a Three Strapped Grunt to supervise the others.
Seeing them leaving Julian decided to take action.
Julian 'Now that they are gone, I should start'.
