Julian is sitting in the waiting room as he is accompanied by Professor Oak by his side.

Professor Oak gets up from his chair and walks away leaving behind Julian alone, he takes out three pokeballs from his pouch and looks at them.

Announcer "Ladies and Gentlemen, today is the day the whole Kanto has been waiting for, today a Member of the Elite four is challenged by the winner of this year's Indigo League, JULIAN"

As he hears his name Julian starts to walk as he enters the sight of everyone present in the Indigo Stadium as they shout his name and support him. Julian walks towards the battlefield as he sees a huge battlefield covered with Ice, there where some Ice boulders in the battlefield as well.

Julian after looking at the battlefield nods as he had expected this from the start.

Julian 'Looks like I need to get rid of the Ice'

Julian waits silently as the crowd cheers down and the Announcer begins his announcement again.

Announcer "That was a great welcome to our challenger Julian. Now its time to introduce his opponent, she is an Ice-type pokemon expert and a member of the Elite Four of Kanto, Introducing LORELEI"

As the Announcer announce her name Lorelei steps up inside the stadium and looks at the crowd and waved at them then she continues forward and stares at Julian and smirks.

Lorelei "Julian, this is our second time meeting and our last as well, after this match your rising fame will crumble and you will be forgotten"

Julian smirks after hearing Lorelei, he clearly sees through her intentions to provoke him but its useless.

Julian "What you said I also agree, but only half of it, this will be our second and last time meeting, true. Me losing this battle, you are a quite delusional I must say"

Seeing her attempt to provoke Julian fail and being ridiculed by him made her flare up but she came back to her sense pretty quick, she knew Julian was trying to provoke her as well so she cannot let her guard down.

Julian "Didn't like what you heard?"

Lorelei "Hmpf, if those silly comments could get me I wouldn't be a member of the elite four"

Julian "Well that's to be expected or I would have been very disappointed"

Julian put on a smirk on his face while saying this and shakes his head in disappointment. This time Lorelei really was about to burst but she somehow managed to calm down, she looked at Julian and saw him smiling at her, she knew that he was playing with her and now she became more determined to defeat him.

Unknown to them in a big room decorated with beautiful wallpapers and paintings and a huge dining table in middle, three people where sitting on their chair and looking at the huge TV in front of them, one is a man with a well built bulky tan body, spiky black hair, and was wearing only a white trouser tied to his waist by a black belt. Another was a short old Lady with blond hair and was wearing a purple dress and was holding a staff in her hand. The last was a man standing tall with spiky dark pink hair and was wearing a red and black dress and a cape on his back.

They where the rest of the elite four, Bruno, Agatha, and Lance. They were carefully looking at the screen which displayed both Julian and Lorelei on the screen and their interaction.

Agatha "Lance boy, who do you think is gonna win?"

Lance "I have no idea, I know how Lorelei battles but this Julian guy is full of mystery all his battles and completely different battle style, it looked like he was coming up with a strategy on the go, these kind of trainers are the hardest to deal with"

Bruno "Hahaha, who cares about how he battles, I just want to battle a strong opponent so I hope he doesn't lose this battle"

Agatha looks at them and stays quiet and looks back at the screen and squints her eyes.

Agatha 'Looks like Lorelei already lost, he has already gotten into her head and she hasn't even realized it, I just hope she can get out of this web which has already entangled her'

Agatha then looks at Bruno then Lance.

Agatha 'Lorelei is clearly not a perfect opponent for Julian, Bruno might stand a better chance against him as he cares only about battling, Lance, on the other hand, has great courage and determination and with that, he has overcome every obstacle he has faced with it but will that be enough?'

She then again looks at Julian who is smiling at Lorelei.

Agatha 'Julian, what a scary kid.....Looks like I have to be more serious than before'

Back to the stadium Lorelei is dumbfounded as she looks at Julian smiling at her, she is in confusion as she is not able to read her opponent at all, above that she felt like Julian could see through her completely, unknown to her she started to doubt herself as well.

As Lorelei was thinking about a strategy, the referee steped in the battle beild holding two flags in his hand one red and the other blue.

Referee "This pokemon battle will be a five on five pokemon battle as requested by the elite four member Lorelei, both trainers are allowed to substitute their pokemons during the battle, the person who loses all five of their pokemon loses"

Both Julian and Lorelei nods hearing the rules.

Referee "Trainer Julian, ready?"

Julian "Yes"

Referee "Elite Four member Lorelei, ready?"

Lorelei "Yes"

Referee "Then let the battle begin"

The Referee waves his two flags indicating the start of the match and the crowd held on to their seats.

Lorelei "Since everything is in my advantage, I will give you a chance by going first"

Julian "With Pleasure"

Lorelei "Go Cloyster"

Julian 'She choose Cloyster, going full defense from the go'

Julian "Go Electivire"

Both Cloyster and Electivire enter the battlefield as they stare at each other and wait for their trainer's command.
