Chapter 355: After Taking the Wrong Door (1)
“So we took the wrong door. No wonder this old man looks so strange.” Qian Ye muttered to himself.
Lou Yu gave the old man an eye with alert, “Let’s get out of here.”
The fat old man smiled coldly and said, “You wanna go? Where do you think you can go? Haven’t you heard that it is easy to get in but hard to get out?”
Qian Ye said alertly, “Hey, don’t you mess us around!”
The fat old man hummed, while using his star source force silently fettering their action.
Lou Yu surprisingly found that his body was shackled by an invisible rope and he could not move, so were Qian Ye and others.
Mo Fei stood anxiously outside the tent. “What’s the matter? Why haven’t they come out?”
Zheng Xuan frowned and said, “Is it possible we have been set up?”
Mo Fei frowned. “Maybe! Now what?”
Boom, boom~ Two explosions went off in succession.
Inside the tent, the fat old man smiled and looked at Lou Yu and Qian Ye, “Good, good, really good, you can even break free from my star source lock. You are really impressive!”
Lou Yu frowned, saying sulkily, “We just took the wrong door. As an elder, do you really have to do this?”
The fat old man snorted and held his head high, “Have you any idea who I am?”
Qian Ye winked and gingerly asked, “Who are you then?”
The fat old man, “…You don’t even know who I am? I think you really deserve a spanking.”
Qian Ye, “…” Oh, the silly old man is such a swagger~
A huge hand with infinite power pressed down on Qian Ye, while Qian Ye’s hand turned into the golden color. Boom~ Two palms clashed! Qian Ye felt great pain in the palm.

The fat old man then threw a palm toward Qian Ye, and Qian Ye rolled on the ground several circles.
Lou Yu frowned, a spear formed by his thunder source force condensed in Lou Yu’s hand, then Lou Yu stabbed at the old man.
The fat old man looked at it unhurriedly with a smile on his face.
Thunder source gun got blown into pieces by the fat old man, Lou Yu was kicked back several steps.
Lou Yus gnashed his teeth at the old man, face ferocious, then the fat old man kicked him into the air.
Mo Fei let out his spiritual sense force and rushed into the tent.
Inside the tent, the fat old man felt the spiritual sense force rushing in. He raised his eyebrows and laughed heartily. “It’s a good seed for refining potions.”
Outside the tent, Zheng Xuan, frowning, said to Mo Fei, “I can’t wait any longer. I’ll go in to take a look.”
“Don’t go, you are sending sheep into the tiger’s mouth!” Mo Fei tried to stop him.
As the fat old man saw Zheng Xuan, immediately exulting, “Here comes another one.”
Zheng Xuan looked at Lou Yu and Qian Ye on the ground, without saying a word, clenched his fist and bombed at the old man.
The fat old man raised a palm, and knocked Zheng Xuan onto the ground.
Mo Fei saw several people in the tent beaten up lying on the ground and stared at the fat old man with a frightened face.
The fat old man was laughing while looking at Mo Fei, “Wow, another one again, you also want to challenge me?”
Mo Fei hurriedly shook his head, turning pale with fright, “No, no. The fortune teller said I should not use force recently, otherwise, it’d be easy to have kidney deficit. The consequences would be very serious.”

The fat old man, “…The consequences are really very serious. So you really can’t use force!”
Mo Fei hastened to nod, looking mournful and panicky. “Yeah! Yeah! Don’t you beat me! I can’t take it.”
The fat old man looked at Mo Fei’s shrinking look and swore, “Such a useless thing!”
In Star College
“Principal, the old man from Tianhe College has taken in six students this year.”
“What? Six? So many?”
“Yes! Principal, it is true. The old man from Tianhe College said before he’d rather put quality before quantity and beat away those who sent themselves to him, so all these three years, no one dared to apply to be his student at all. You know, these years, Tianhe College did not cultivate any outstanding figures, now, he is probably too anxious, and took them all in.”
Nie Xinghai, the headmaster of the Star College, shook his head. “That old man doesn’t look like such a person! Those six students, they are all geniuses, aren’t they?”
“Where comes so many geniuses at a time? Top ten beautiful women all study in our college, those geniuses all ran to us. I have got it inquired. The six students all seem to be green heads. They were cheated to take the old man as their teacher.”
“Cheated?” Nie Xinghai wondered.
“Yes! The student who gave them the test asked them to go to the golden tent, the old man’s tent in Tianhe, for the third round of the test, and they did it and got enrolled.”
Nie Xinghai squinted while saying, “According to my knowledge of the old man, he doesn’t seem to be such a person who is not choosy about his food when he is hungry. Find a time to explore the background of those students.”

Cary Simms: The Fairy Mushroom Forest
From a young age, Cary Simms knew that she wasn't like the other boys her age. She didn't know why or how that was, but it seemed apparent to the bullies of her school. They would often call her names, chase after her after school, and beat her up when they could catch her. Her only protection, besides escape, was in the words of the Good Book. But that was before she stumbled into the supposedly haunted house at the end of her street. When a mysterious ring and a drawing on the back wall of the post office opened up a whole new world for her, things quickly went from weird to scary. At a new school, in a new world, surrounded by people who had access to magic, all Cary could think of was how to escape the witches that had her trapped there. It was only having her best friend by her side that gave her any comfort at all. ***This is my first attempt at a middle grade book, and would appreciate feedback. Please note, this is a second draft, and might not represent the final product.***

The Last Journey
A slice of life litrpg story... or is it? It's burning slow, though. Moving on: War comes with a great cost. Lives and time wasted for most part. One could either be run with sword, be poisoned, be bowed, and sometimes meet their end with just a tiny speck of wood. With magic, it becomes even more colorful. From lightning, to worse poison, to hovering rocks, to weird bladed leaves, to whipping roots, and to a lot more odd things easily reasoned with magic. A wonderful creation. But once used to something more than wonder, more than tricks to gather laughs, it becomes worse. War becomes worse. For there is not only blood to be spilled. A particular town almost met the same end. Soldiers geared with swrords and bows came with mounts. Horses burning lush grasses as it cracked boulders and the soil alike with every step. The kind that only war ones could ever do. Even strange wheeled creations that oozed danger were towed, loaded with something meant to destroy. But not once had they acted upon what such devices should've done, nor what an an army is supposed to do. Siege never occurred, as much as a command to war. No. Magic existed so a simple little fire is all the worth the town has. No sword drawn, no arrows nocked, nothing. Just some mana spent and through the ash they march. That was how Nudius saw her end. It came not even as a surprise. She didn't have the moment to fully register what occurred before she found herself in an empty dark space. Life lost, time spent. All from a fire that had not even touched her. But she knew very well that it was magic. Something she wished to have and strived for to have. Yet it seemed that none of it would matter now. Nudius was well aware of what the color around meant, of the odd situation, of the unfeeling state of her being. It was death and that was it. She didn't have to worry or dream further. Although there wasn't what she truly wanted in what death to her is, but at least, Nudius was comforted to what she believed death is. Rest. But little did she know there's something more than that empty space. It wasn't only the promise of rest, but was also more than she could ever hope for. Another chance at life. Another chance to dream. ***Tags are there just in case. You never know! Umm... HI-MI-TSU. Story blurb+: This is slow burn, quite slice of life story about a girl learning magic. All the while as she fatten herself up. So yeah, progression fantasy. But there's Litrpg! Numbers! Magic! Spells! And of course! There's something more. But read on ahead, please. Oh yes. Plot! There is, too. Disclaimer: The cover isn't made by me. Just layered it with a text. I got it from a free website, if I correctly recall. I'll see to it. (Haven't worked on it.)

Author here (: This is my first time posting any of my works online, and I hope that you enjoy being welcomed into my world, as much as I enjoy creating it for you! I welcome any and all criticism, so long as it is actually something that can benefit my writing (not just random hating and nothing substantial). This story is edited by Nesryn and ArtemisArrow, my dear friends! The cover of this book is not my property, and if you are the actual owner of the image and would like me to take it down please PM me (: I am posting this to see if it generates any interest. If it does, then I will be planning on making more regular posts for chapters. I am intending this to be one book of a series, titled The Lost Royal. I intend to post, at this point, one chapter a week unless I get onto a roll! If this starts to accrue enough interest where I can start focusing solely on writing then more chapters will be released per week. Thanks for your interest, and I hope you enjoy!
