Chapter 280: Getting Promoted in Advance (2)
Qian Ye walked into the laboratory excitedly, leaning against the door and showing various amorous feelings. He said girlishly, “Feifei, I heard the auxiliary potions have all been collected.”
Mo Yi glanced at the others in the lab and said, “Today’s work is almost finished. Thank you so much. You can go now.”
Hearing Mo Yi’s words, the soldiers in the room immediately withdrew.
Qian Ye grabbed Mo Fei’s arm, “Feifei, you’ll make the potion for me first, will you?”
Mo Fei was full of hesitation and indecision when looking at Qian Ye.
Qian Ye showed a face of injustice, “Feifei, I won’t allow it if you put Lou Yu before me!”
Mo Fei looked at Qian Ye and thought for a moment, then said, “In fact, Lou Yu’s potions will take less time. I’ll make his share first, and then yours right after. I could better control the prescription once I have experience. Grade seven herbs are rare and we could never waste any.”
Qian Ye looked at Mo Fei accusingly, “Feifei, how can you do this? No wonder people say that the married daughter is like the water splashed out. So does the son.”
Mo Fei, “…”
“God, I was born to be doing so tortured! I feel hurt!” Qian Ye covered the chest and jumped around.
Mo Yi looked at Qian Ye and said helplessly, “Childe Qian Ye, don’t! You look ugly being like this!”
Qian Ye, like being stepped on his tail, immediately straightened up and his expression immediately returned to normal.
Mo Fei took a glance at Mo Yi and felt a faint admiration in his heart.
A burst of screaming came from the outside.
Mo Fei frowned, “What’s the matter? It’s noisy outside!”

Mo Yi raised his head and saw that the sky was full of red clouds and glowing rays. “It seems that Prince Yu is going to advance.”
Qian Ye looked at Mo Fei tentatively, “Feifei, what’s going on! You have secretly given him the potion?”
Mo Fei shook his head, “I didn’t. He was injured yesterday. I gave him a grade-6 cure.”
Qian Ye blinked, feeling puzzled, “So, he broke through the barrier without taking any potion.”
Mo Fei nodded, “It should be. He has outstanding talent and his star source force has accumulated to a critical point. It’s not strange of his promotion under certain stimulation.”
Qian Ye touched his chin and said thoughtfully, “Yes, stimulation, it must be stimulation! I said the one promoting to level seven first could kiss you, which greatly stimulated Lou Yu. Gee, one kiss can save a level seven potion, very economical.”
Mo Fei took a glance at Qian Ye and said fiercely, “Then what are you still standing here for? Guard him. Don’t let anyone sneak attack him.”
Qian Ye widened his eyes at Mo Fei, thinking in his heart: The man turned his elbow outward after he got married!
Feeling he have no alternative, Qian Ye changed his direction toward Lou Yu.
On the way, he could not help feeling sad: He lost the competition and still needed to protect the winner. Oh, there was nothing worse than this.
When Qian Ye arrived, Zheng Xuan, Wang Yan and other soldiers stood guard outside Lou Yu’ room.
From time to time, his room emitted bursts of purple light. Suddenly, a light soared into the sky, shattering the clouds above.
Wang Yan’s eyes exuded admiration and emotion, “The third prince has successfully advanced to level seven.”

The expression on the face of Scar, One-eye and Feng Xin varied.
Then, Lou Yu opened the door, swept across each one with his eyebeams, and finally fixed on Qian Ye.
His glances sent Qian Ye chills up his spines. “I won,” Lou Yu said slowly as he approaching Qian Ye.
Qian Ye smiled faintly with sincere words, “Third prince, even if you win, you should be humble, and remember that modesty makes people progress.”
Lou Yu, “…”
Then, the winner dismissed all the people who came to congratulate him and dragged Mo Fei into his room.
Qian Ye looked at the closed door with a complicated look and left despondently.
Mo Fei wore a complicated look toward Lou Yu, “You know clearly that with the help of potions, you would be surer of advancing.”
Lou Yu looked straight at Mo Fei, smiled bitterly, “I know, but I was worried that you make Qian Ye’s share first, and I can’t afford to lose.”
Being stared at by the glowing eyes of Lou Yu, Mo Fei was at a loss what to say but suddenly remembered his mother’s words: ‘When you truly love someone, you will belittle yourself in front of that person.’
He forced a smile, feeling a little sad, “Qian Ye, the guy likes talking nonsense. You know, he has never been serious.”
“I know, but I just don’t want him to kiss you.” Lou Yu was stubborn.
Mo Fei paused and surprised by the obstinacy of Lou Yu. Qian Ye seemed to have played a big joke this time.
Lou Yu pointed to his own cheek, “Feifei, a kiss.”
Looking at Lou Yu’s expectant expression, Mo Fei pecked on Lou Yu’s face reluctantly.
When he was about to withdraw, Mo Fei was held tightly on his shoulder. The man, without getting permission, gave a hard kiss on Mo Fei’s lips.

Tower of Somnus
When humanity first encountered alien life, we were judged and found wanting. The Galactic Consensus interviewed our leaders and subjected us to a battery of psychological tests to determine our progress as a society. They found us to be selfish, wasteful, impulsive, and boorish neighbors. Earth was blockaded and our collective encounter with our extrasolar neighbors rapidly faded from memory. All they left behind was a hypercomm relay and a handful of subscriptions to a massively multiplayer game that participants played in their sleep. The Consensus said that it would let us interact with our neighbors in a controlled setting. That it would teach us to be better members of the galactic community. The megacorporations that controlled Earth ignored the game until they learned that the powers earned from clearing dungeons were just as real when day broke. Magic, supernatural abilities and rumors exploded from nothing and a subscription to The Tower of Somnus became a status symbol. Katherine ‘Kat’ Debs doesn’t have much, but it could be worse. Born in an arcology, she was assigned a job in the megacorporation that raised her almost as soon as she could work. Despite the stability of her corporate life, she wanted something more. A chance to claw her way up the rigid social and financial ladder to make something of herself. A chance that wouldn’t come naturally to someone as familiar with dark alleyways and the glint of steel as she was with office work and corporate niceties.Book One is up on Kindle Unlimited as of 7/6/22 - https://www.royalroad.com/amazon/B0B2X3L8H5

The blue Astrum of memories
Some of you believe in fate and some of you don't. That's ok in our world. In the world that I created Fate has been acting strange and selfish for a long time. She was always fascinated with humans and the fact that they had soulmates because a lot of other races didn't. Ever since humans started traveling through space, that opened millions of new opportunities for Fate to make the human soulmates meet. However, because of her strange behaviour Fate made too many mistakes. After that, Fate made what she thought, was a good move. What she didn't count on was that the good move she made knew that you can cheat fate. One and his crew don't know how ironic it is that she chose them to make her good move. ------------------------------- I didn't use any movies, books or series for inspiration the story is my original work. This is just the result of my weird imagination and brain telling me what to write. I hope you liked it :) It’s just a story, like all of my other stores. It doesn’t have a deeper spiritual, moral or ethical meaning.
