Chapter 26: Practice ExamTranslator: Guy Gone Bad
Mo Yi followed Su Rong into his room.
Su Rong couldn’t help sizing Mo Yi up while Mo Yi also turned to him, “Mr. Su, is there a flower growing on my face? Why are you staring at me?”
“No!” answered Su Rong awkwardly.
Mo Yi then smiled, “That’d be good.”
At this time Mo Fei came out wearing a long face. Mo Yi looked at him and asked, “Young master, didn’t you sleep well last night?”
Mo Yi said with a sobbing tone, “I’ve got attached to my own bed.”
Mo Yi looked at Mo Fei pitifully, “Young master, young master, given some time, you’d get used to it.”
Unless Mo Fei, Lou Yu came out totally refreshed. Seeing the depressed Mo Fei, Lou Yu snorted and walked away.
Watching Lou Yu leave, Mo Yi turned to Mo Fei and asked him with great interest, “Young master, is Prince Yu’s body in shape?”
Mo Fei, “It sucks! Bucket waist! Elephant legs! The point is his chest is flat! I don’t wanna talk about it. His body is without a single redeeming feature!”
Mo Yi, “…”
Su Rong, “…”
Su Rong coughed lightly, “Mr. Mo, time to eat.”
Mo Fei immediately got cheered up, “It’s great! Eating is my favorite!”
Su Rong, “…”
Watching Mo Fei gobbling, Mo Yi said, “Young master, the new term of the Imperial College opens in five days. I have downloaded some practice examination papers for you. You can try to do it later. Although it’s a little late to bone up for the test, better late than never.”
Mo Fei nodded, “OK. I will do it later.”
Watching those hundreds of sets of examination papers on Star website, Mo Fei felt like his head was gonna blow up.

“So many?” asked Mo Fei bitterly.
Seeing her bitter expression, Mo Yi said, “There’re thousands of them. I just picked some authoritative ones for you.”
“They say learning is like a boundless sea. I guess I’m gonna drown in it!” said Mo Fei desperately.
Mo Fei picked one set and did it. After submitting it, Mo Fei and Mo Yi both stared at the screen without blinking.
“Interstellar history: 37, pharmaceutics: 64, interstellar math: 44, interstellar literature: 24… Young master, you have greatly retrogressed!”
Mo Fei’s face darkened, “No way!” Mo Fei stared at the screen suspiciously, “The scoring system should’ve made a mistake.”
Mo Yi looked at Mo Fei reluctantly, “Young master, this scoring system is pretty authoritative.”
Mo Fei, “I don’t believe it! You do one set.”
After Mo Yi’s scores were out, Mo Fei dropped his jaws. All above 60! How had he never known the one closest to him was a smart ass?
When Lou Yu entered the room, Mo Fei immediately got up and gave him a big smile, “My prince, you are back.”
Lou Yu nodded, “Yeah, I’m back.”
“Are you hungry? I prepared some food for you.”
“Not hungry.”
“Do you feel sour in your shoulders? Let me give you a massage.”
“No, thanks.”
“Do you feel hot? What about I fan the fan for you?”
“Not necessary!”
…
“Why do you want nothing?” said Mo Fei disappointedly.
“One should want something from another when he is overzealous. So what is it? Shoot.” said Lou Yu while looking at Mo Fei.
Mo Fei said awkwardly, “Here is the thing. I did a test this afternoon. And I found that my scores…ain’t no good.”
Su Rong laughed in his sleeve, thinking, “Not good? It’s…terribly bad!”

Lou Yu narrowed his eyes, “So, you plan to study hard?”
Mo Fei forced a smile, “That’s the t least I should do. What I am trying to say is, my scores are not so good, but…he is a straight A student! I’m asking…if you can also get him enrolled into the Imperial College.”
Lou Yu raised his head and turned to Mo Fei, “You think the Imperial College is your backyard?” The Imperial College was one of the top ten colleges in the empire. Even those nobilities and moneybags had to cut off limbs for one place.
Mo Fei scratched his head, “Of course not.”
“Then why are you making such a request?” said Lou Yu blandly.
Mo Fei frowned, “I risked my life marrying you. Don’t you think you should do something to make up to me? I am such a noble-minded person. Aren’t you touched?”
Lou Yu looked at Mo Fei. After a while, he said, “I’ve got only one place as an auditor.”
Mo Fei nodded, “That’d be enough.”

To Blunt The Sharpest Claw
The Velvet Paw of Asquith Novels are a series of New Fable genre novels that involve cats and dogs and high adventure and romance and espionage and food-fights and hotels and explosions and car chases. With large casts, exotic locations and an absurdity only possible in the absence of human characters, the Velvet Paw of Asquith Novels blend Wind in the Willows with James Bond, though with more cafes and fewer badgers. This submission is the third title in its Morigan Trilogy, beginning two-thirds of the way through the series' longest adventure yet. Here's a quick recount of what's happened so far: When Oscar Teabag-Dooven, a Velvet Paw of Asquith, is ordered to investigate how a mysterious poet, the Ar'dath-Irr, is able to travel instantaneously around the world, two very bad things happen. Firstly, he meets Lydia, an insane librarian who punches everyone in the face, and secondly, the Ar'dath-Irr reveals he is intent on taking over the world. Although this second thing might be considered worse than the first, Oscar feels differently following Lydia’s destruction of a cafe, a library and his face in one afternoon. In comparison, thwarting world domination just seems easier. Along with Binklemitre, a fellow Velvet Paw of Asquith, and Lydia, Oscar infiltrates the Ar’dath-Irr’s realm of dark poetry to discover the dog not only intends wrenching the world apart but has no intention of cleaning up afterwards. As a result, Oscar decides it’s all too hard and goes home to have a bath. After lots of arguing and the sort of food fight that posh restaurants were invented for, Lydia and Binklemitre convince him that they must stop the Ar’dath-Irr for several reasons, one of them quite serious. A vibrant cast of characters collide as Oscar, Lydia and Binklemitre battle the Ar’dath-Irr and his disciples in an adventure involving exploding cafés and appalling hotels, car chases and inadvertent surgery, dreadful poetry, lots of arguments and at least one temper-tantrum, all of which draw the three into dark and convoluted corners of a world they weren’t aware existed. Moreover, any chance of sitting down and discussing things over some buns disappears when Lydia punches the Ar’dath-Irr in the face. This results in her having a psychotic episode and Oscar getting run over by an ambulance. Although Binklemitre suffers neither, he witnesses both, which is almost as dreadful, though not nearly so messy. An enormous battle ensues, followed by a dinner party and then everything explodes.

The Last Death Mage
Since time immemorial humanity has always feared and shunned what it didn’t understand. Over time this changed a bit to encompass things that didn’t conform to their thoughts and ideals. Due to humanity’s stubbornness with which the enforced their ideals many lives were lost and changed. When humanity first clashed with monsters and the beings that use magic, this trait caused many bloody fights. Over time the fights escalated into battles and full on war on several occasions. Humanity due to their adaptability and persistence won many of these altercations, causing huge casualties to the magical beings. Humanity did not come out unscathed however; many of the empires and civilizations noted in human history fell due to these battles and wars. Eventually over time humanity and the magical beings came to a sort of agreement. Magic and the beings associated with it faded into the background of history, being relegated to myth and legend. Humanity meanwhile advanced leaps and bounds once magic faded, leading to our current level of civilization. Not all magical beings were content with this, thus they did their own actions and killed or fed on humans. This has led to many organizations to be formed concerning this, on both the side of humanity and the side of magical beings. They regulate and control the use of magic as well as protect humanity from the darker things that are now not but myth to them, but there is a reason humanity instinctually fears the dark. Unfortunately there are always those that are unsatisfied by the status quo, and those that are prejudiced against things that are different. This is a story of a young man who wanted nothing more than to be normal. Unfortunately Fate and the world he lives in do not easily allow that this, thus his life changed, not for the better. Everyone has heard of or read stories about monsters and legends, heroes and villains, this is one such story. Hi, this is my second attempt at a story here, the first was before the major overhaul happened and i lost everything related to that story due to PC troubles. I hope you enjoy this if you dont please leave some constructive criticism in the comments. An Editor and the like will be needed, but I will edit as problems are pointed out and as i proof read. This story will have no set schedule, unless of course I decide to type up a bunch in succession then i will note that in a chapter beforehand. ADDED NOTE: most sexual content will be in Interludes or sub chapters with a .5 attached. Profanity and gore however shall be plenty in the actual story, though the descriptives for the gore may be added later. (For example, in the prologue that gave a hint at what happened to the MC, will be enhanced so that the gore invokes more descriptive/complete mental pictures, though it may wait.) ~Tyroth Gideon
