Chapter 11: The First DateTranslator: Guy Gone Bad
“Young master, what’s on your mind?” Mo Yifen asked Mo Fei who was with a dusky frown.
“Nothing. It’s just Prince Yu has texted me, asking me out for dinner at Gourmet Workshop.” answered Mu Fei while resting his chin on his hands.
Mo Yi popped his eyes out, looking quite excited, “Young master, you mean Prince Yu asked you out for dinner?”
Mo Fei nodded, “Yeah, I’m thinking whether I should go or not.”
“Do you even need to think? Of course you should go! That’s Prince Yu! So many people out there are willing to spend millions of star coins to see him in person.” said Mo Yi athrill.
“Spending millions only to see him in person? That’s what those silly rich people would do. I am poor and smart. I won’t do that.” said Mo Fei while waving his hands.
Mo Yi shrugged, “Young master, it’s Prince Yu. At least show some courtesy.”
Mo Fei nodded, “I also think it that way. But, I’m a little worried.”
Mo Yi asked curiously, “Young master, what are you worried about? You’re afraid Prince Yu won’t settle on you?”
Mo Fei cast a glance at him, and said angrily, “I am so cute, such an eye candy. Do you think I will worry about such boring thing? What concerns me is that the food at Gourmet Workshop is very expensive. What should I do if he doesn’t pay?”
Mo Yi rubbed his nose, “I don’t think so. He is the prince. He is rich.”
Mo Fei raised his eyebrows, saying, “He may be rich, but it doesn’t mean he is not stingy.”
After calculating its gain and loss, they still decided he should go.

“Mo Yi, what kind of person do you think Prince Yu would be?” asked Mo Fei with his head tilted.
Mo Yi touched his chin and said, “I think Prince Yu should be a serious, bland and short-spoken man.”
“Short-spoken?” Doubted Mo Fei.
Mo Yi nodded, “Yeah. I heard Prince Yu doesn’t talk much, and has a bad attitude toward beauties. But with that unapproachable attitude, there are still numerous pretty women who would throw themselves on him.”
Mo Fei nodded, “Beautiful women all have a bad taste. So, as outstanding as I am, there would be no woman going after me.”
Mo Yi twitched his face, speechless
Mo Fei cast a glance at him, “What is that expression for?”
Mo Yi immediately forced a big smile, “I mean, you are absolutely quite right, young master.”
Mo Fei nodded, “Of course. Every word I say makes sense.”
After getting themselves dressed up, Mo Fei and Mo Yi went to the Gourmet Workshop. Since Prince Yu said it should be personal, Mo Fei didn’t tell anyone about this.
According the message Prince Yu sent him, Mo Fei went into a balcony, in which sat a young man wearing a black jacket.
That young man looked at Mo Fei and spitted out a few words indifferently, “You are late.”
Mo Fei forced a smile, “I’m sorry.”
Mo Fei got goose bumps all over by that young man’s cold eyes. Late? He was only 1 minute and twenty seconds late! This guy was so petty.
That young man looked at Mo Fei spookily, “You are prettier that I thought.”
“You flatter me.” Mo Fei gave a hollow laugh.
The young man said unhurriedly, “Don’t take it as a compliment. The reason why I said so is because I heard you are extremely ugly. But in my view, you are ordinary looking at most.”
Mo Fei turned to Mo Yi, frowning, like he was saying, “Didn’t you say this guy is short-spoken?”
Mo Yi forced a smile at him, and gave him a “rumor sucks” look.
“Do you have anything to say?” asked Lou Yu.
Mo Fei blurted it out without thinking, “Prince Yu, you are so talkative!”
Lou Yu made a pause and then said, “I’ll take it as a compliment.”
Mo Fei laughed, “Of course it is.”
Lou Yu then snorted.

The Legend of Ghost
This is a quick novella origin story to one of fan-favorite characters in the ZERO universe, Sam Dobbs, a.k.a. Slade Gardner, a.k.a. the Ghost. I wrote it for current ZERO series fans, after many insistent, fervent, teary-eyed demands. Still, I think it pretty much works as a stand-alone, so I'll post it here. (He gets the name Ghost later, not as part of this story...this is just the why he decided to do what he did, being slightly insane and all.) Lots of easter eggs for current fans. 15k words total, chapters will be approx. 2.5k each. Oh, and if you get turned off by crazy, hyperintelligent antisocials being crazy, hyperintelligent antisocials, this isn't the story for you. ;)

The Pugilist
Vincent Roy Salazar has never been your common folk. He climbed any mountain he found in front of him. From a bright young student to an accomplished professor, his life can be described as a continuous race to the top of his chosen fields. Patriarch of a loving family, proud father of three already grown siblings, Roy realizes that his life is the perfect picture of what the average man strives for, and for that he is truly grateful. But happiness is a difficult-to-reach goal, and as he lies in a pool of his own blood, his fist cracked, a young lady crying while cradling his head, he remembers what really gave sense to his youth. Pure Unadulterated Violence The Pugilist wants to be a different take on isekai shenanigans. What would happen if instead of a moronic idiot, a depressed high schooler, or a wannabe hero the one to get his do-over is a fully grown man that has already seen what life has to offer in full? Someone who conformed himself to society, but has always craved something different? In a journey of self-discovery, academy building, god-slaying, and absolutely no harem we follow someone driven by logic, experience, and a smokey goal: to fuck shit up, have fun while doing so, and maybe resume his career as a professor for those strange, magic-wielding, unstable youths that seems to never get enough of his presence. Guys, a few notes, first of all, this is my first time writing long-form fiction. I have a background in psychology, and my main income comes from writing dreary financial articles on SEO blogs. But after a bad break-up, and finding myself falling asleep only while thinking of deus ex machina for stories on this site (and for APGTE) I decided to try my hand at this web series thingy. I'm confident in my grammar, but that's it. Everything else will be a first time, and as such any constructive criticism is encouraged and gratefully accepted. Now, on the story. Romance will be introduced once my little heart is mended, if you are scared of LGBT you may be turned off by the fact that I plan to have no taboo of any kind in my universe, but I won't ever write detailed sex scenes for any characters so don't worry too much. The litRPG part is very light and will take place later in the novel, but it's a key component nonetheless, for world-building and storyline reasons. I already have everything big planned out, so I won't drop it outta nowhere, and I hope you won't find too many flaws in how things pan out. I plan to make The Pugilist an interactive story, with secondary characters created by my audience and introduced after tweaks and careful planning. The main reason I'm writing this is that I want to build a community for myself in this time of isolation. I discovered that exercising, playing the piano or video games means jack-shit when you are utterly miserable, so I hope to give some value to my readers in exchange for praise, fame, money, and companionship. I give full props to anyone who has read this whole mess of a synopsis: I hope to not disappoint too much, now let's write some more steaming garbage that will be in dire need of editing later on.
