She immediately got up from the bed as she was so close to be chocked to death. She asked for Tan Ji Nan's assistance to give her a glass of water.

His face turned pale when she saw her coughing like there's no tomorrow. Feeling guilty, he immediately rushed to the table to get a glass of water for her.

When Ho Min Lin has recovered, she shouted on Tan Ji Nan.

"Do you really hate me that much so you want to choke me to death?"

Tan Ji Nan lowered her head. "I didn't mean it!" He said in a low voice. "If you weren't pretentious that you don't need me around I won't resort to the method of bullying you."

'So it was her fault?' Ho Min Lin asked herself in disbelief.

"Finish this cake and the pasta that I ordered for you. These are your favorites."

She looked at him and delighted to hear that he didn't forget those little details about her.

"Are you done eating?" She asked when she saw that Tan Ji Nan has stopped eating and just looked at her as she excitedly munched the blueberry cheesecake.

"Too much sugar." He simply replied.

She had already finished eating the pasta and the cake but Tan Ji Nan had never take his eyes off her. He just stared at her face as if he was trying to inspect if she has a pimple or blackheads on it?

"Why do you keep on staring at me?" She can't help but asked because she was feeling uncomfortable with his gazes.

"I was trying to understand what I have seen in you before? Yes, you're pretty but still a no match to someone from a Western country." He uttered and has started to touch every part of her face as he was trying to describe them "You've got a slit eyes. Your nose is not that pointed. You doesn't have a prominent cheekbones. But..." he stopped when he touched her lips.

"I've got a kissable lips?" She teased and gave her a sweet and inviting smile on her lips.

"Why don't you have a boyfriend until now?" He suddenly asked. "It such a waste if you have a kissable lips but don't have a boyfriend to suck them? Is it because you are still waiting for me and has reserved those lips for my personal consumption?"

She was caught off guard with his questions that before she could answer them, his lips was already pressing into hers.
