When she saw his cold expression, all the courage she mustered to face him has gone. All she wanted was to hide on her sleeves and let the ground eat her whole being to avoid Tan Ji Nan's wrath. She was pretty sure that he overheard what she has said to the receptionist. He has heard all her lies. What face can she wear in front of him?

"Ji Nan, so you are really checked in at this hotel" She said in a low-deep voice. She tried to smile at him.

The handsome face in front of her furrowed his eyebrows.

"I have been dying to see you since I've arrived here but I haven't caught sight of you so I have started to have doubts if you are really checked in at this hotel?"

"What do you want?" His cold tone has never changed a bit. And if his cold stare can kill her she must have been buried six feet underground.

"Can we talk, but not here." She asked because when she looked around she saw the receptionist eavesdropping them.

"Room 1409." He said and made a big strides to get inside the elevator. She almost run just to keep up with his steps so not to be left outside the elevator.

Inside the elevator, the man was eerie quiet. Ho Min Lin didn't try to make a simple conversation as she was so scared that if she will say a single word the man will eventually erupt. The 15 seconds inside the elevator seems like she had been there for 15 years.

When the elevator has opened, Tan Ji Nan walked to his room. She nervously followed.

As he opened the door with his key card, she tried to be vigilant to ensure that she will not be left outside the room. Just to be surprised when Tan Ji Nan dragged her inside, pushed her against the wall and gave her an unexpected kiss.

Her eyes were widened in disbelief. She didn't see that coming. But as she was trying to immerse herself into that kiss, she realized that Tan Ji Nan was not simply kissing her. He was kissing her not in a romantic way but the opposite. And when she looked into his eyes, it's not passion that she saw but his eyes were fuming with anger.

She tried to push him away but to no avail.

He was kissing her savagely and wanted to crushed her lips.

"Stop please?" She pleaded.

"Isn't this what you want? You came here in Paris to win me back right? So let see how far can you go?" He gritted his teeth as he looked angrily to the woman who was pleading him to stop.

He was about to kiss her again but abruptly stopped when he saw the tears eventually rolled down her cheeks.
