Song Dei Si wanted to hide from Yan Mor Tee's back as their classmates were giving them a michievious look.

'This shameless fellow.' She gave him a dagger look.

While Song Dei Si didn't know what to do on that moment, Yan Mor Tee was acting so cool and he looks like he wasn't bothered at all.

"Go back to your friends, and I'll join my friends in the pool" He softly instructed her.

Song Dei Si walked towards to Ho Min Lin and Tan Ja Nin's direction. They are now comfortably lounging at the pool side chair.

"Is that Yan Mor Tee's beach short that you're wearing?" Ho Min Lin asked her as soon as she joined them.

"It is." Tan Ja Nin has confirmed it in a hurtful voice.

"And why are you wearing his beach short?" Ho Min Lin asked again.

Song Dei Si was startled by Ho Min Lin's questions. She stammered while she answered her. "I wasn't comfortable wearing my 1-pc bathing suit so he offered his beach short to cover my legs."

"Is it you who are not comfortable wearing a 1-pc bathing suit or is it Yan Mor Tee who wanted to cover your body because he doesn't want some other guys to feast their eyes on you?"

Ho Min Lin looked at her straight into her eyes when she asked her and she cannot looked back to her intense gaze.

She doesn't want to look at Tan Ja Nin either because she wasn't ready to see her reaction and she didn't know how to deal her emotions.

"You cannot join us in the pool again because you are not wearing a proper suit" Ho Min Lin reminded her and did not try to pry her when she did not respond.

She was waiting for Tan Ja Nin to ask for a follow up questions but she kept mum.

She heaved a deep sigh and nodded. She knew that her two girlfriends were both smart for them not to conclude that it was more than a simple offering of Yan Mor Tee's beach short to her but why they were not prying?

She helplessly looked at Yan Mor Tee's direction and had wished to just run away from that place with him.

She excused herself and went to the buffet table to get some food. She wanted to release the tension that she was feeling inside by diverting herself into something else.

"Stress-eating?"

A voice from someone at her right side made her to get startled.

Ahh why does she kept on startling everytime someone will talk to her?

Is it the feeling of someone who was hiding something?

She saw Lee Jin Ho's smiling face standing right next to her at the buffet table.

She looked at her plate and was surprised to see that the foods on it has almost overflowed.

"The foods here looks so enticing and I can't help but to try them all." She said trying to hide her embarrassment.

Lee Jin Ho laughed. "Yeah, they tasted good too. This is my second round now."

She laughed with Lee Jin Ho and it relaxed her.

"I didn't expect that you have a big appetite. It doesn't show in your body. How did you maintain such a slim body?" Lee Jin Ho curiously asked her

"Fast metabolism helps I guess." She said.

"Can I join you on your table?" Lee Jin Ho asked her.

"Sure!" She said thinking that with Lee Jin Ho's presence, it will make the atmosphere less suffocating when she go back to the table where Ho Min Lin and Tan Ja Nin at.

"No one will be pissed off when I join you in the table?" Lee Jin Ho asked.

She furrowed her eyebrows.

"I'm just hoping that the owner of the beach short that you are wearing is not owning the girl who wears it yet." Lee Jin Ho said.

That made Song Dei Si dumbfounded.

'What does he mean? Why would he hope that I am not Mor Tee's girl? Does Lee Jin Ho have feelings for her?' Song Dei Si can't help but overthinking what he has said but has decided to shrug it off as soon as they joined her two girl friends in the pool side table.

"Woah! Song Dei Si! You really have a big appetite huh?" Ho Min Lin exclaimed when she saw that her plate was full.

"Min Lin, care for a drink?" Lee Jin Ho offered.

"How sweet of you Jin Ho!" Min Lin was starstucked again with her long time crush gesture. She can't help but put up some cutesy gesture too.

Tan Ja Nin was surprisingly quiet the whole time. Thou she laughed when Lee Jin Ho cracked some corny jokes, everyone can attest that thou she was smiling it didn't reach her eyes.

While Song Dei Si was enjoying Lee Jin Ho's company, her boyfriend in the pool was furiously looking at them.

"Don't give any guy an opening, or else he might snatch your girl." Tan Ji Nan who was standing beside Yan Mor Tee has softly said.

Yan Mor Tee was surprised with his bestfriend comment. "Isn't that more applicable to you?" He answered.

"I'm over Min Lin. I won't care anymore if she made some cutesy gestures in front of Lee Jin Ho."

Yan Mor Tee furrowed his eyebrows. If he didn't know Tan Ji Nan since sincehood, he may believe on his words. But he know when his bestfriend was lying, and he just lied to him a moment ago.

Why would Tan Ji Nan enrolled in a gym and was trying to lose some weight?

If it's not for Ho Min Lin.

If he was not bitter.

"If I were you, I'll go there and join them." Tan Ji Nan suggested.

When he gazed back to Song Dei Si's direction and saw her laughing again, he suddenly jump out from the pool and hurriedly strode off to Song Dei Si and her company at the pool side table.

Before Yan Mor Tee reached Song Dei Si's location, the birthday celebrant come rushed to them and asked them to join in the game.
