Song Dei Si was looking at her reflection in the mirror for almost half an hour now and had tried several outfits and none of them has satisfied her. She almost at the bringe of frustration when she realized why she was making a big fuss on how she would look like on front of Yan Mor Tee as if she was going out on a date with him.

She reminded herself, they were not going out for a date, they were going to study.

She looked at her wristwatch and it was almost 9:30AM. She will be meeting Yan Mor Tee at 10AM.

In the end, she just picked a white tee and pair it with with blue faded jeans and a white sneakers. Before she left the house, she applied a small amount of cheek tint on her face and put on some lip gloss. When she made a last glance of herself on the full body mirror, she was somewhat satisfied on her overall look.

True to his promise, Yan Mor Tee had picked up Song Dei Si at the corner of the street near her apartment. He looked at her from head to toe and a smile curved his lips.

"You look extra pretty today." He said as she praised her.

Her face suddenly blushed with his compliment. She looked at Yan Mor Tee and he was also exuding a good aura. She just noticed that he had a hair cut too. From long wavy hair, he had it cut into a medium lenght textured.

"You look nice too."

Her compliment made Yan Mor Tee's ear turned red.

Yan Mor Tee and Song Dei Si went to Brook's Cafe by foot. Yan Mor Tee had ordered coffee and cronuts for two. They laid down their books and review notes and had started reviewing from one subject to another.

Song Dei Si was amazed on how Yan Mor Tee was so structured with his review points. She also realized that Yan Mor Tee was really smart.

No he wasn't just smart but genius.

If Yan Mor Tee has taken his studies seriously from the beginning, she won't be surprised if he will surpass her on the class top ranking.

"What are your plans after graduation?" She asked out of nowhere when they were at the middle of their review session.

"Plans?" Yan Mor Tee was suddenly taken aback by her question.

Does he have plans?

He could not think of any.

From the start, his life has already been planned. But he didn't make it for himself. His parent does.

They have already planned his whole life and he hated it.

So he tried to rebel from it.

He stowed away from home when he was 14 years old and lived with his grandfather at the coastal area just to be away from his parent's domineering ways. He endured the 2-hour travel time from his grandfather's place to school for two years.

It was tiring but he didn't care less. At least he was far away from his parent's scrutiny and just lived like a normal teenager at his grandfather's place.

But he has to give up this freedom and has to come back to the mansion because he wanted to be on the same class with Song Dei Si.

It was a deal. And he has no regrets.

His freedom was important to him but to be with Song Dei Si was more important that he could give up everything else.

He made a deep sigh.

He felt so pathetic inside that he could not even make plans for himself.

His future has already been planned. By other people. So he didn't try to make his own plans at all.

He didn't study hard because he knew that even if he failed his classes, he still has a business empire to take over to.

He didn't try to be a good boy because he knew that even if he do bad, people around him will still adore him anyway because of his social standing.

But when he met Song Dei Si, he realized how awful his life was.

He realized that aside from his parent's fortune he doesn't have anything else.

"Don't you have a dream?" Song Dei Si reiterated when she did not receive a reply from Yan Mor Tee.

'A dream?' he asked himself.

He thought he has. He has started dreaming to live a life with Song Dei Si. But this dream conflicts with his parent's plan.

If he will pursue his dream, he has to let go of all his parent's fortune. Of his social standing.

If he will pursue his dream....

He needs to study real hard.

So he can stand on his own and build his future with his own capability without his parent's money and connection.

Because if he will pursue Song Dei Si, he must be a man who can stand on his own.

And he was already taking small steps towards that.
