Crashing Into You Chapter 25

"Madam, are we going to rise another building on this side of the school ground?" Song Dei Si has heard a male voice speaking near her that turned her mind back into the present time.
"No! Spare this side of the ground. You cannot touch anything within this vicinity especially that old oak tree. Understood?"
The sound of her voice has made Song Dei Si startled. Even though she was sure of who was the owner of that authoritative voice she still took a glance on where the voices were coming from and she saw an aristocrat lady who were being accompanied by two men walking into her direction. Before she could stride away, she had caught Madam Yan's attention.
"Song Dei Si?"
She greeted her with a smile but she was greeted back by her sizing look. She had took her glance away but why was it that she felt that Madam Yan had never refrained her gaze away from her?
"Why are you here?" Madam Yan questioned her. "Aren't you supposed to be at the Yan Enterprise right now?"
"Madam Yan, I am on my PTO today" She answered.
"You filed for a PTO just to visit Yan High School?" She furrowed her brows when she asked her.
She shook her head. "I had an important errand this morning, since this was on the way to my apartment, I've decided to drop by and take a look at my alma mater" she politely answered.
"Are you satisfied on what you have discovered today?" She coldly asked her while looking at their initials being carved at the Old Oak Tree.
"Lot of changes have been made since we've graduated from this school but all for the better. Madam Yan has done a great job in maintaining Yan High School to it's glorious state" she answered her in pure honesty and admiration. She knew that Madam Yan was in-charge of administering Yan High School and she was doing a really great job.

She received an icy cold looked reply from her and soon she left her without saying anymore words.
.....
Madam Yan was already gone but the cold atmosphere that she had brought to her senses has never fade away. She was still trembling inside and she had gotten her balance to keep her from not falling by getting a hold of that old oak tree. She has scolded herself while she was helplessly trying to get her strenght back. Why does Madam Yan's coldness towards her has still have the same effect on her after so many years? She has gotten used to it right? She always received a cold shoulder from Madam Yan since she met her in high school but why was she still hurting? Why was she still trying hard to give her praises when in return she knew that she will not even appreciate it?
She looked at their initials and before she could hold back the tears from falling, it eventually fell.
"Hey, Yan Mor Tee, should I start giving up on you?"

Kathy With A K's Song
"Oh my darling, when you smile, it is like a song"-"Obviously," She started. There was a nervous shake in her voice that made me tilt my head in her hands. Her thumbs grazed my cheeks and heat rose on my skin where she touched. I couldn't tell if this was just Sophia being caring or if she was maybe feeling more.
