Song Dei Si stretched her hands when she woke up the next morning. She looked outside the window and was greeted by the beautiful rays from the morning sun. She suddenly smiled when she remembered the goodbye kiss that Yan Mor Tee has given her when she alighted from his car last night. It was indeed another unexpected gesture from him but instead of getting mad of him for what he did, she liked the way how they parted ways. She looked at their photo display at the bedside window and can't help but put a smile on her face "Good Morning, CEO Yan!"

Her gazed shifted to the alarm clock beside the photo display and had panicked when she saw that it was already 10:15 a.m. She has forgotten to set the alarm clock by 7a.m. She had promised Yan Mor Tee to accompany him in the office this morning but she stood him up. She tapped her forehead and took her phone to call Yan Mor Tee.

Her heart skipped a beat when she heard his voice from the other line "Hello, Song Dei Si"

"CEO Yan, my apologies, I forgot to set my alarm clock by 7a.m. today and just woke up." She apologetically said. She was expecting that she will be scolded by Yan Mor Tee but that didn't come.

"No worries" he just replied.

"I'll prepare myself in a bit and will take my leave to go there in 30 mins." she said.

"It's alright. No need to come here today because I am about to leave the office now." Yan Mor Tee told her. "Mum is preparing a welcome lunch for Tan Ja Nin at home so I need to be there by 11 a.m."

"Ohhh!" She said in a cold voice. "Okay then, bye now."

When she heard him said bye from the other line it gave her an uneasy feeling.

Song Dei Si didn't a make a move out of her bed after the call with Yan Mor Tee has ended. The fleeting happiness that she had when she closed her eyes last night and when she woke up this morning has just vanished. It ached her heart when she heard that Madam Yan was preparing a welcome lunch for Tan Ja Nin. She was aware of how his mother doted Tan Ja Nin and always wanted her to be her future daughter in law. Since they were in highschool, she had always co-axed Young Master Yan to pursue Tan Ja Nin instead of her. She had already accepted that fact that she was that girl that Madam Yan hated and never liked for his only son but why she was still hurting?
