"Louis Cruz, the project manager in L & E corps. He met Ms. Parker a few days back in Ms. Williams engagement party and he seemed to be interested in her" Sawyer told.

"How is Brina reacting to his approach." Harry asked.

He is someone who knows Brina very well. So, he is also aware of everything related to her and he knows how careful she would be when she has to get close to strangers.

"You will be surprised, sir" Sawyer told as he took a seat in front of Harry.

"Surprise me then" Harry chuckled as he relaxed in his recliner.

"Wine or whiskey" Harry asked.

"Lemon juice, sir" Sawyer answered, making Harry laugh.

Sawyer might be a bodyguard but he is more than a friend to Harry and Brina.

He is from the orphanage and someone Brina's mother used to treat like her own child.

"So far, Ms. Parker seems positive towards Mr. Cruz. She was smiling and blushing often too" Sawyer told.

Harry almost choked and ended up coughing terribly.

"Blushed? Our Brina blushed?" he asked, feeling incredible.

"Indeed sir. She even allowed him to her house last night." Sawyer told, smiling.

Harry almost felt like his eyes would pop out in shock. Hell!! He never expected this drastic change in his sister!!!

However, he equally felt very happy for her.

"I guess…..my sister is getting over her past. It's a good sign, Sawyer. She deserves all the happiness. I promised her mother and brother" Harry said, pursing his lips.

He really let her down!! He should have been there for her at that time. He always blamed himself for leaving her alone, although he was aware of the situation back then.

He thought that their other friends would look out for her…. however, they have let her down!!!

"She will get through her past. She is a strong woman…..it is just that she is letting her past overshadow who she really is. If Louis Cruz will be able to lift that cursed memory from her heart, she will be unstoppable" Sawyer said, trying to comfort his boss/ best friend.

"I do wish that, Sawyer. But, I don't want to risk….what if Louis Cruz will break her heart as well? She would not be able to return to normal again" Harry sighed, obviously stressed over this matter.

He already let her down by not stopping her ex from breaking her heart. He can't risk the same again...

"Listen, I want you to run a thorough check on Louis Cruz and his background. I want to know everything, each and every thing about him." Harry ordered firmly, determined to protect Brina this time.

She is fragile now… her heart is already shattered into pieces. She can't take another blow.

"Sure. I will not leave any stone unturned. You can expect the detailed information about him by day after tomorrow" Sawyer affirmed Harry.

"I trust you. And, can you have someone watch over Brina for a few days? It's a new company and new people….we don't know what might happen. I don't want her to get hurt again" Harry told.

"I don't think Brina would appreciate it, Harry," Sawyer frowned. As they are alone in the room, he shifted back to calling Harry by his name.

"Let's not inform her" Harry retaliated.

"Haa...as if she can't find out!! She knew each and every one from my team. You can't forget that my people are from orphanage as well"

"She even trained them, trained with them. How could you forget that?" Sawyer asked, letting out a small laugh.

"You have new recruits man!! Brina didn't meet them, did she?" Harry asked.

"You can order them to look after her. She will not find out" Harry told.

"She didn't meet them, yes, but it doesn't mean that she can't recognize them!! She might not be the Brina once we knew….but her training, experience will not go wasted. She will right away figure out everything" Sawyer answered.

"Moreover, Uncle Tom told me that Brina trained with new recruits this weekend, when she returned back. She was in a good mood and high spirits" Sawyer told.

"Might be because of Louis. I pray to god that he will change her back to our normal Brina but Sawyer, we must keep our watch on her" Harry told.

"I don't think it's a wise choice, Harry. She opted to have a normal life, so let her be. She stopped talking to Remus because he didn't respect her choice once" a girl dressed in a short skirt said as she entered the penthouse.

"It's better you don't make the same mistake like him and ruin your relationship with Brina. She might be fragile and broken but that doesn't mean, she can't take care of herself!! She is more than capable to face her uncle and his cunning schemes" Rhianna said.

She is PS of Harry.

She is a doctor by profession but also works as his secretary whenever she is free. It's one of the ways this busy couple tries to spend more time with each other.

"Though I hate to admit, Anna is right" Sawyer told.

Harry sighed.

He couldn't help but agree to Rhianna's point of view.

"All right. We will let her do what she wants but I am adamant on checking Louis and his background" Harry told standing up.

"Got it," Sawyer answered.

"And, you have a meeting in twenty minutes," Rhianna reminded her boss, CEO of S & S Enterprises.

"Give me ten minutes. I will be there" Harry told.

Not aware of the serious discussion her friends had, Brina reached her new company L & E corporations.

Hailey and Luke, her new friends/ colleagues are waiting for her in the lobby.

"There you are. Let's go upstairs soon. Meeting is gonna start" Hailey told.

"Charlotte and Louis… our bosses are already there in the conference hall and it seems like they are having some serious talk going on" Luke told as they stepped into the elevator.

"Hmm" Brina hummed. She is still thinking about the lunch 'date' Louis asked her to come.

Not that she doesn't want to go, but she is worried if others will see them and over think.

She doesn't want to be the center of attention, after all.

Hailey and Luke have waited for her patiently in the lobby and how can she abandon them at lunch and go somewhere else.
