Brina ordered herself a strong cappuccino and sat down at the farthest and empty table, when Calvin arrived. 

"Could I join you, miss? Only if you don't mind." he asked casually.

He just wanted to meet the girl who stole his best friend/crush's heart. 

What if she has bad intentions on approaching Louis?

She might even be the usual gold digger who is pretending as if she doesn't have any clue about Louis' identity, who knows?

It's better to have a clear picture of what this girl is up to.

Meanwhile, Brina who is about to take a sip of her coffee looked up at the source of the voice.

Standing right in front of her chair is a handsome well-built man with blonde hair and golden brown eyes.

'Why does he look like the female version of Charlotte?' Brina thought but quickly recomposed herself. 

"Yeah, you can, please sit. I won't mind." Brina answered, before going back to looking into her phone. 

Though he looked so cold and indifferent, she could see that he is not someone who likes to irritate girls and do those annoying actions to get their attention. So, she didn't bother much with him. 

Calvin smiled politely and sat down. 

After he sat down, his order came and he started eating. Neither of them spoke anything but Brina continued to look around as if searching for someone. Though her attention seems to be in surfing through her phone, all her mind is busy in searching for Louis. 

She simply couldn't delete his thoughts from her mind...

And, this of course, didn't escape the hawk-like eyes of Calvin. He understood for whom she could be waiting for.

"Searching for someone?" He casually asked while eating.

Brina got startled but nodded her head, realizing that he was polite and asked casually. 

"Yeah. Someone who helped me when I was in a dilemma on what to do." She answered briefly while her eyes were still in search of the person who kissed her and disappeared two nights before. 

How dare he kiss her when she is drunk! Not that she minded it, she in fact liked it.

But it would have been more amazing if he kissed her when she was sober.

Brina's cheeks burned red as soon as she realized how perverted her mind has become. She never had these thoughts… never before. 

Meanwhile, Calvin stared at her for a few seconds and slightly nodded his head again. 

He actually didn't expect her to answer.

And, why is she looking as if she is about to blush deep red? Did something happen between these two already?

However, the sincerity she just shown now, it made him a little afraid that he could be wrong about her.

What if she isn't a gold digger?

"Is that a great person to me?" A deep and charming voice came from behind her and Brina instantly froze.

That voice...

It was like a warm sunrise on a sunny day which would bring jubilance and warmth to any girl with a lonely heart.

The happiest moments she spent with him on that day instantly flooded her mind and her heart filled with strange calmness and excitement.

It was as if fire and ice were coexisting in her heart.

Meanwhile, Louis who is dressed in formal yet extremely sexy black suite walked towards her, his eyes solely concentrated on her back

That smooth and silky hair made his hands itchy to feel through them, her milky spotless neck ignited his desire to skim his hands over those sexy curves of her neck.

His throat became dry as he imagined how heavenly it would be if he gets to use his lips instead of his hands.

Everything about her incited his strangest yet deepest desires. But, more than this physical attraction, there is something more deep and strange that has affected his heart and mind. 

He has seen many beautiful women before and no one has ever invoked this desire in him. This woman here is the only one who has managed to make his mind go crazy. 

And, his eyes always turn tender whenever he looks at her but at the same time something dangerous in the deepest corners of his heart stir up aggressively.

Though this is too soon to judge his feelings, he couldn't help but feel that deep connection with her.

While his own heart is in frenzy, Brina is no different than him.

As Louis walked towards her, every step he took made her hold her breath.

She never felt this intense influence on her anytime, not even when she was in love a few years back… Her first love.

Meanwhile, Calvin who is surprised by the sudden appearance of Louis, continued staring at them.

Their expressions are truly worth seeing.

He has never seen Louis like this whereas, the woman whom he thought of as a fraud and gold digger is not one.

He could see that sincerity in her eyes.

"Were you talking about me, Brina?" Louis asked, taking a seat on her left.

Seeing her staring at him, he chuckled. So, he is not the only one who is feeling like this.

It's mutual between them.

"Or, did you forget who I am, Ms. Parker?" Louis teasingly asked.
