Xuanzang was way too powerful compared to him. He could not stand even against a look from his buddha world.

Not even Guanyin Pusa could do anything.

Back in Nanhai World, Guanyin Pusa had lost slightly even with the advantage of her buddha world while he had fought without.

And now his nine golden buddha worlds were all lined up and ready.

Neither Wu Yu nor Guanyin Pusa could stop the murder.

Their hearts quailed, their spirits turning bleak as they saw Patriarch Bodhi gasping for his last breaths of life under the golden palm.

"After all, my plan demands the death of all. If not broken, it cannot be rebuilt. If not dead, life cannot spring anew. It is the only way to save this world."

Xuanzang said with a stoic face. Killing Patriarch Bodhi, killing Guanyin Pusa and the others, it was all but the first step of salvation to him.

Wu Yu could not accept this way of thinking.

"To die for the rebirth of the immortal domain is the highest glory!"

Xuanzang shouted, summoning a wash of golden light that flew towards Patriarch Bodhi!

Patriarch Bodhi was about to die!

Wu Yu stared horror-struck. It could not be.

Suddenly, from the buddha world's palm, a familiar figure appeared.

It was the little gray macaque that he had left in Eternal Emperor Tomb!

Tired of listening to Xuanzang's drivel, Wu Yu had locked the little gray macaque up.

But it had suddenly appeared here, and the six-eared monkey threw up a gray shadow that blocked the golden palm attack!

Wu Yu could not believe his own eyes. Since when was the little thing so strong?

It had deflected Xuanzang's golden palm attack and saved Patriarch Bodhi from certain death. Still, Patriarch Bodhi was not yet safe.

All of his golden buddha worlds had pained expressions on their faces. They shouted Xuanzang's words: "Why must you stand against me! My way is the only way to defeat that being and save the immortal domain!"

The six-eared macaque spoke again in its ringing voice: "Xuanzang you and Bodhi are the teachers of the Great Sage, Heaven's Equal in his life. One leads him in Immortal Dao, the other in Buddha Arts. Why must you cause such trouble?"

Wu Yu's horror had purified into disbelief. He could not comprehend how this ordinary-seeming monkey had suddenly traversed space and time to be here in Sumeru World, nor how it could speak to Xuanzang so.

Who in the world was he?

Guanyin Pusa explained softly: "He is the ruler of the Demon Immortal Realm! He is a sworn brother to the Great Sage, Heaven's Equal. In the past, he was known as Mayhem Demon Emperor!"

Mayhem Demon Emperor! The master of the Demon Immortal Realm! Brother to Great Sage, Heaven's Equal!

Each of these identities was a sledgehammer to Wu Yu's brain.

The little macaque was all that?

Still, none of this could dissuade Xuanzang.

"No matter what, the rebirth of the immortal domain is the great task. It brooks no interference. Whoever stops me will die!"

Xuanzang ignored his warnings, and continued attacking Patriarch Bodhi.

The nine golden buddha worlds again sent stupendous power forth in the form of buddha palm attacks, bearing down on Patriarch Bodhi!

"So be it. SO BE IT!"

The little gray macaque hissed. It snatched the Ruyi Jingu Bang out of Wu Yu's hands. "Let me test how Above All you are, Buddha!"

Wu Yu was unable to stop the six-eared macaque from taking the weapon.

Besides, this was his ancestor, deeply bonded to the Great Sage, Heaven's Equal. He was unequivocally on Wu Yu's side, and here to help him.

If he wanted to use the Ruyi Jingu Bang, what did it matter?

After all, Wu Yu himself was helpless at this point. Go, monkey!

The Ruyi Jingu Bang was twirled into a golden whirlwind in the six-eared macaque's hands.
