After the little fight in the village, I went back to Nazarick. Leaving Momonga to deal with the aftermath. From this little experiment a few things had come clear, one, I was prone to anger, two, I lost all empathy for the majority of humans, and three, I was immensely powerful. The last one I already knew, but still, it was good to see it first hand.
Now, what to do? I had tested the things I wanted to test out, now what else can I play?
"Alastor-sama," Demiurge greeted, bowing in my presence.
"Demiurge," I greeted.
"I wanted to let you know personally that the storage room will be organized as you requested in a month," A month? Well, that was fast.
"Thanks, Demiurge," I smiled.
Demiurge bowed, a devious smile on his face, "I'm just doing my job, and after seeing your superior intellect at work, I couldn't help but feel fascinated at the sight of such superiority," say what now?
"I see," I replied.
"To think that you would foresee the event of Nazarick being transported to another place, I can't even begin to fathom the depths of your genius, Alastor-sama," Well, he was technically correct, but at the same time wrong.
"As expected of you Demiurge," I praised.
"I am but a speck of dust compared to your magnificent Alastor-sama," Demiurge replied, "After all, I was only able to understand three out of the seven steps of your plan," seven what?
Well, time to play it cool, "On time you will understand, I expect that much from you."
"You flatter me," Demiurge smiled, fixing his glasses.
So this was how Momonga felt at every turn, Demiurge is so intelligent he outsmarts himself with these twists and shit, "Well, I'm off to sleep."

"Would you like one of the Pleiades to accompany you tonight?" Demiurge offered, and I almost choked on my own breath.
"What?" I asked after I recovered my belongings.
"Albedo is currently out of Nazarick, so unfortunately she can't please you, Alastor-sama, so in the meantime, would you like one of the Pleiades or perhaps one of the Vampire brides?" Demiurge elaborated, "Oh I see, I apologize Alastor-sama, how could I be so blind," I don't like where this is going, "One woman can't possibly satisfy one of the supreme beings of Nazarick," ok that's not so bad, I thought he was going… forget about it, "I will send all the Pleiades to your chambers, and the vampire brides too."
"Don't worry Demiurge," I shook my head.
"I see, how foolish of me, you probably have other plans in mind," One could say that, yeah, "If your tastes for tonight have changed, any m-" and here I stopped him, fuck no.
"Wow, that escalated quickly," I chuckled, "Let me be clear, I only like women, but right now I just want to rest."
"I apologize Alastor-sama," Demiurge bowed apologetically.
After that ordeal, I went to my room. Thinking about what to do next, where to go, what goals would move me forward now, and what else this world had to offer. "I wonder if I will get to use Penance," I wondered out loud.

[Berenice Nagua Santini POV]
An angel, no a fake had killed our troops in the borders of the Re-Estize Kingdom, a demon pretending to be a holy being, there wasn't a sin greater than that, the hubris of his words, the mockery of his appearance, all of that… was the definition of sin itself, and for that… that vile beast would repent, he would repent for going against the holy light of the gods, he would repent with blood for mocking the holy light the gods left for us, he would repent, but before that, before I made this sinner pay for his crimes before I enacted the holy will of the gods, I would use him.

"You called for us, your holiness?" Kaire, one of the most loyal followers of the Gods, asked, bowing before my mighty presence.
"A threat to our beliefs has risen within the northern kingdoms, a threat we can't allow to roam free," I started to explain, the gravity of the situation, to allow Alastor to live, was to allow the depths of hell into the supremacy of the gods, the only use his existence had was to obey the light, the light we the cardinals translated to the masses from the gods.
"And you want me to use Downfall of Castle and Country on him? Right?" Kaire, as always, is one step ahead.
At this, I nodded. "Yes, his sinful existence has no salvation, but… we can use his power to spread the light all over the kingdoms."
"Your word is my command," Kaire declared.
"Good, now… before you go… take the black scripture with you, they will buy you the time you need to use Downfall of Castle and Country," I ordered.
"As you wish your holiness," Kaire bowed.

[Alastor POV]
After a chat with Momonga about what happened in the village, I went back to my room, where I sat on my bed to read a book. This, however, didn't last long, why? Well, a horny succubus entered my room, and suddenly reading wasn't that important anymore. It is funny really since I became an Angel, a God, my carnal desires have only gotten stronger, I expected the opposite, it's odd, everything I want… I want it with flaming desire, be it food, or sex… it's… I don't know… more intense, wilder… more animalistic.
And this feeling didn't only extend to the pleasures of the flesh, but it went beyond that, anger, disgust and other feelings… were also amplified, and harder to control, it was vexing to say the least, a conundrum that I myself didn't fully understand.
[THE FREAKING NOISE CANCELLING WALLS OF MY OFFICE ARE WORTHLESSS!] Momonga shouted in a message.
[Have you tried to use magic?] I chuckled.
[....]
[Oh yeah, I can do that too] I chuckled, as Momonga raged in his office, ahhh, friendship.

At The Lions Gate
In the 20th century America reinvented itself. Devastated by depression, scarred by war, rocked by a revolution, Americans banded together to preserve their country and their freedom. They had faith in themselves, faith in one another, and for those who believed…faith in God. This novel tells the story of one American who lived through those turbulent years….years that would test his character and the character of a nation. For Josh Sanders it begins in 1935. A star athlete in school, pro football is a ticket out of poverty during the Great Depression; but when his father, a WWI veteran, is killed during a robbery, Josh’s spirit is broken, and with it his boyhood dream. To honor his father Josh joins the war effort in 1942, distinguishing himself as a fighter pilot, until a fateful decision near the end of the war changes the course of his life once again. But many years later, after a stint as a boxer and a failed marriage, Josh finds his calling…at a time when the country is at war with itself. The year is 1968. King and Kennedy have been killed, race riots are breaking out, and Vietnam has become an albatross, causing massive protests across the country. In the streets of San Francisco Josh watches a crowd of students march for peace. As a veteran he’s conflicted, toward the war and those who oppose it. But when he encounters Rosy Goldin, a spirited young protester in need of help, a voice from the past calls him to action. His good intentions are soon tested when Rosy falls in love with the fugitive anti-war activist Erick White, a young man determined to oppose the war at all costs, against the wishes of his own father. Fearful of what happens to Rosy, Josh confronts Erick, unwilling to be part of his plan to escape…until he meets the boy’s father. A high-powered criminal attorney, Karl White is also a flag-waving patriot demanding that his son follow the law. But as White makes his case Josh is jolted by a painful war-time memory, a crisis of conscience that will soon determine the fate of Rosy Goldin and Erick White.
