—————————————————————————————
I looked at the remaining knight with curiosity, a million thoughts rushing in my mind at the same time, with one being the most prominent of them all, I want to kill this man, not to save the girls, certainly not to be a hero, none of that matter to me, but to test my own power on living targets. Opening my right hand, I aimed at the knight, promptly casting a tier two spell, "Light Touch,"
In the game, this was amongst my weakest spells in the light book of skills, but here… who knows how strong it was. The reason I had chosen this particular spell was to see if one of my weakest attacks would one-shot humans, or if I had to go beyond tier two. With a shining bright, a beam of light that shot forward from my hand to the enemy, the beam bigger than in the game, and the result was considerably gorier than in the game, the attack had exploded the knight from the inside out, boiling his entrails in the process, leaving nothing but a pool of his own blood.
"And now I have blood on my clothes," I was disappointed, not with the result of my attack, but that I had dirtied myself in the process. That's a thought to behold, I just exploded a man, and felt absolutely nothing but disgust. He sullied my clothes with his blood, and here I thought choosing a race connected with the holy would avoid such things.
"I apologize Alastor-sama," Sebas Tian bowed, "I should've shielded you from the blood, please forgive my lack of foresight." His adoration was a bit… too much sometimes.
"It's alright Sebas," I sighed, turning to look at the woman at my side, who was hugging her sister tight as if trying to protect her from me, admirable. I suppose I can have some fun at her expense too, "Be not afraid mortal," ah, the angel meme.
"I… what are you?" The woman asked.
"I am a god, and in a way, I heard your prayers," This was both true and a lie, but who cares… if I won devoted followers along the way this would be worth it.

"Blasphemy!" Oh, I almost forgot about the third one that was around the area… this is a problem, it seems my own senses are ignoring them, for why would I be on the lookout for ants.
"You dare!" Sebas growled, his eyes turning a bit more draconic than human, never seen him so mad, then again, no one has ever disrespected a supreme one in front of him.
"Let's try this," I smiled, flickering in front of him with a single step, "This is a tier-three poison, I made it myself." Blowing the poison on his face, the knight fell to the ground, screaming in pain as he squirming around like a cockroach about to die, soon after, his eyes pop out, and he started to vomit blood, followed by a few of his organs, then he died as his body melted on the ground. "Maybe tier three was overdoing this…"
"What do we do with the ladies, Alastor-sama," Sebas inquired.
Opening my inventory, I grabbed a full health potion and gave it to her, "Drink that… and you will feel better." As she did what I told her with a bit of hesitation, I looked at Sebas and asked, "Do you think the last one felt pain?"
"Yes, the greatest in his life," Sebas replied.
Too bad really, this poison was supposed to give the target a painless death, and vomiting your organs doesn't look painless at all. "Well, that failed successfully then."
As I pondered what to do next a portal opened right behind me, revealing Momonga and Albedo, "How was it,"
"I felt nothing," I knew what he was really asking because like him I was experiencing the same situation.
"I see," Momonga said, looking at the woman, "Do you mind if I run a few experiments of my own?" he asked, pointing to the cadavers.
"Go ahead," I nodded.
"What do we do with these inferior beings?" Albedo asked, pointing her weapon at the sisters.
"Let them be," I replied.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
With one of the cadavers, Momonga created a death knight and sent it off to fight the invaders in the village. "It seems these particular humans are weaker than us," Momonga commented.

"It seems so," I hummed, looking from above how his death knight massacred the entire platoon of soldiers. It was a sight to behold, to see a creature I could vanish with a single glance, taking so many lives with a single swing of his blade.
"Well, I see you in the village." I wanted to see this show up close.
"Very well," Momonga chuckled.
It took me a few seconds to reach the village, being able to fly sure was handy. From above, I saw the death knight do quick work with the knights, with each swing of his dark blade a soldier would fall into the ground, not too shabby for a level twenty-five.
"Buy me some time! Be my shield!" One of the humans shouted, I could see on his entire being, how fear was taking hold, erasing any other emotion or quirk inside of him, all that he was… it didn't matter, for fear had taken complete hold of his being.
[How is everything there?] Momonga inquired.
[Good, you death knight seems to be a bit… too much for them, he is slaughtering them.] I replied with a chuckle.
[I see, good to know indeed.] Momonga cackled, closing the chat.
"Death Knight, stop." As he was about to kill the whiny little baby, I stopped him with a single command, this…. However, it was quite interesting. Summons only obeyed their masters, which made his obedience quite vexing, but welcome.
"You must know who I am!" The man who I had no idea who it was shouted, as hope started to ignite within him, hm, that's not good, then again for what I'm about to do… it's best if he has a bit of hope.
"Hell's requiem," One of my many spells from the illusion department, its description was quite interesting. The illusion itself would put the target in a world of everlasting pain, altering the very perception of time and space for the target, showing them the depths of hell that awaits for them after death, at least according to the spell, it also says one second within this illusion can be translated to a thousand years for the target, the human died immediately. The interesting thing about this illusion is that undead's are immune to it, just to this one, I wonder why.
"He stopped," Momonga said, as he arrived.
"He obeyed my command," I replied, with a shrug.
"I… interesting," Momonga said, probably thinking what I had thought a few seconds ago. "Can you summon one of your angels to see if I can command it?"
"Of course you can Momonga-sama," Albedo declared, "You two stand above everyone, as the supreme gods of life and death."
"Sure, summon… Angel Guardian," At my command, a low-tier angel appeared. "Do what you wish with it, I will go and eat something."
"Haha, enjoy." Momonga chuckled, as I walked to the nearest food stand, and grabbed me some food.
"Well, this tastes awful." I sighed, throwing the food I had grabbed away, it tasted like dirt, not like the filet mignon I had eaten prior to this in Nazarick, maybe I should start packing lunch.
"Alastor-sama, I apologize for my lack of foresight once again," Sebas said, getting my attention. "If I had been a good servant, I would've foreseen this… and packed you some lunch, please forgive this humble servant, it won't happen again." God… now I feel bad for being hungry… sad and hungry, I'm sungry.
"I am disappointed in you Sebas," Albedo shook her head in disappointment, as she approached me. "I packed this from the kitchen," and so she handed me a lunch box, and now Sebas was sulking… great I'm not even hungry anymore.
"Don't be too hard on Sebas, he did everything I asked for… this little problem was my own for not thinking ahead for this exploration," I smiled, taking the lunch.
"We are not deserving of such kindness." Sebas bowed.
"Such kindness… we are truly fortunate to have such a loving God with us," Albedo moaned, God damn it… getting this woman going was too damn freaking easy, is her natural state horny?

Life of a Core
After a disembodied voice had told him he was what amounted to an exceptionally talented rock, it had been hard to not let it go to his non-existent head. Until, random chance had decided to give him a square kick in the minerals. Which had in turn forced him to fend for himself in an unknown land, all while he attempted to make sense of his place in the world. Truthfully though, all he had really wanted to do from the start had been to bury himself a hundred feet below the ground and be left to his own devices. Yet, for one reason or another, nobody ever seemed willing to leave the dungeon-building core alone long enough to actually make one. Each chapter will average around two to three thousand words, the release schedule is still a WIP but you should expect the first six chapters to be released over the next six days. This is planned out as a dungeon building fiction, but don't expect it right off the bat! The story is a depiction of the everyday adventures (alongside an overarching plot) of what I imagine a dungeon core would experience when thrust into a random environment where everything and everyone tried to covet or eat him. I also really enjoy reading the comments and reviews people leave and would love to get some reader involvement with the story itself, likely through polls at the end of each chapter. I hope you enjoy my story! (If you feel like some of the characters seem familiar, you may have read some older work I wrote a while back under a different account. If you happen to be one of my old readers and recognize the similarities, I'm happy to have you back!)

The demon whispers inside Jack’s mind. “They are not worthy, they are cattle, these new humans you covet. The so-called creator has betrayed you, replaced you with these organic imitations. Slaughter them all.” It’s funny, not in a ha-ha funny way, but a sad, my madness doesn’t make sense type of way, Jack thinks, because wasn’t he human? Worse still, the voice comes with impulses that are hard to resist. Violence usually ensues. That’s why he joined the military. A way to channel his urges into mind-numbing physical effort and war. It works for a time. But alcohol and fighting can only carry on for so long. Finally, he realizes, his only way out is suicide. But when he opens his eyes, he’s in the In-Between. The creator has other plans for him, and she won’t take no for an answer. Apparently, this isn’t his first life and if he doesn’t free her from her prison, it won’t be his last. His curse is to be reborn without end, without rest, without memory. Only madness. Now Jack is on the run from forces he doesn’t understand. It’s a new world. The mundane replaced by ethereal artificial intelligence, spontaneous virtual realities, and homicidal bible salesmen. But the creator promises the demon’s voice will disappear as soon as he finds the right girl, the right bond. After that, they just have to escape the clutches of those who hunt them, find the Isle of Song, and free the creator from her prison. Or maybe this time, in this life, Jack will figure out what true freedom is. Come along on this action-packed thriller as Jack fights to remember who he is, tries to end an eternal war, and atone for sins he doesn’t remember…yet.
