Chapter 53 – Daily Routine (1)
Chen Daiyu dazedly sat up; and when she looked at her windows, she noticed that the sun hadn’t even peeked yet.
I must’ve slept early last night.
She rubbed her eyes and continued walking barefooted towards the balcony, she then jumped off. Using the pillars as assistants, she successfully scaled from the second floor.
She then proceeded to her destination and kept working.
By 7am, she was back in her room, getting up the same way she went down. She washed herself, put on her uniform and went downstairs to eat breakfast with everyone.
As usual, everyone would occasionally put some of her favorite dishes in her bowl to fatten her up. Only Chen Feng would put vegetables.
Chen Daiyu and Shan Yijun entered the black Rolls-Royce that Chen Daiyu rode when she first met them in the police station.
Chen Feng drove them to school and somewhat reluctantly sent Chen Daiyu off. As for Shan Yijun, he didn’t get so much as goodbye…
Shan Yijun walked Chen Daiyu to his classroom, and after a reluctant goodbye, he set off to his own.
Chen Daiyu sat in the back row and took out one of her tutor’s homework packet, waiting for the teacher to come in.
All the work they had been doing so far was far too easy for her but she didn’t want to bother going up a grade. So she asked her dad to keep the tutor lessons going, she quickly advanced in her extra lessons. She wanted to experience being with people her age in a normal environment.
She quite enjoyed watching all the tomfoolery that went on in a primary school classroom.
All her teachers were nice and as long as she answered questions they didn’t mind her nodding off.

“For you.” The person then handed her an assignment paper.
Chen Diayu looked up to see her old acquaintance.
“Good Morning, Hua Hua,” Chen Daiyu smiled at Fu Lihua.
When Chen Diayu first arrived, they had both been surprised to see each other again.
“We’re not that familiar” Fu Lihua blushed and looked away with a huff, she ignored her and sat down next to Chen Daiyu, who was still smiling.
The Lihua kid sure is cute.
When it was lunch time, Chen Daiyu saw that everyone else went with their friends to get lunch together. She stood in front of Fu Lihua’s desk.
Fu Lihua slightly blushed and turned away brusquely, pushing a bag on Chen Daiyu’s hands.
“Here! They’re chocolate croissants that my mom bought from the new bakery that opened downtown.” Fu Lihua proceeded to shove the paper bag in her hands.
“I thought everything was presold.” Chen Daiyu looked up surprised, she had vaguely heard about the bakery and wanted to ask her dad to take her there.
The chef was so well known that people bought the day’s worth of supply before it was even baked.
“Mom and the head chef are childhood friends.”
“Thank you.” Chen Daiyu smiled at Fu Lihua once again, “but i’m here to invite you to lunch, let’s leave the croissants for dessert.”
Fu Lihua was surprised,”what? Lunch with me?!?” She accidentally blurted out loud. Chen Daiyu saw that Fu Lihua was surprised by her proposal.
In the school, no one would invite Fu Lihua on anything since her temper was naturally cold, children with cheerful personalities would find it hard to get along with Fu Lihua.
Fu Lihua knew that she didn’t treat Chen Daiyu particularly kindly, but despite her constant temper just now, Chen Daiyu is still willingly wanting to befriend her.

Fu Lihua pursed her lips and went to have lunch with Chen Daiyu. They both took out their lunch boxes.
Fu Lihua’s lunch box was handmade by her mom, who loved to cook. It looked quite adorable.
Chen Daiyu’s, on the other hand, was handmade by Chen Feng. Once he discovered his little rabbit was a foodie for sweets, he took it upon himself to make sure her lunch box was a balanced meal. There were vegetables and meat, added with desserts. Although it didn’t look quite as adorable as Fu Lihua’s, there was an elegance to it.
During class, Chen Daiyu would often help Fu Lihua with any work she didn’t understand.
They had their own little space in the classroom, and the teachers appreciated Chen Diayu helping her peers.
They were all accommodating to the adorable new student they had gotten. The principal had warned them at first that she had a strong background, they were once worried that she might be a pampered princess who would cry at the slightest disagreement but they were wrong.
The child is lovable and smart, some of the teachers would fantasize having a child like Daiyu.
When the school was over, Shan Yijun would rush to Chen Daiyu’s classroom along with Xiao Li to pick her up.
They waited for her at the door, where she parted with Fu Lihua.
Once they got home, Chen Daiyu quickly finished all her homework.

Author's Note: This story is different from other wuxia novels. If those novels focus on characters that struggle from the bottom and reach the top, this story is one where someone already reached the top. I figured it would be interesting to start a novel from this concept so I started it. Well, however this plays through, just like how I finished my previous novel, Doll's Smile, I'll finish this novel too. Of course, I'm writing this novel just for fun. I like to write lighthearted novels like this. Novels that I would read while listening to music and eating snacks on a pleasant and relaxing afternoon. Do forgive me if I'm slow in writing.
