Solo Player Arvin Chapter 8

Arvin got his first scar when he was just 12 years old. He used to work illegally in a small tea stall. The pay was very less, but he desperately needed money. So he didn't mind working illegally.
That day he was working at night. That night his tea stall didn't have a lot of customers. So he had a lot of free time in his hands. So he thought that why not pass his free time by reading a book. So he did just that. As he was reading his book quietly, the owner of the shop came back. He was drunk. As he saw that Arvin was reading a book instead of taking care of the shop, he flipped.
In a stance of rage, he threw the nearest teapot on Arvin. The teapot was filled with hot water. And when Arvin's head and teapot collided all the hot water was sprayed on Arvin's face. That resulted in his scarring.
...…
When Arvin was 15 years old he had started studying in college. It was the start of his new life. The college that he studied in was the most prestigious in whole India. He knew that if he got into this college then his future aspects will be very bright. With that thought in his mind, he attended his first day at college.
But little that he knew, this day would soon turn out to be the worst day of his life. While going to college, a car rammed into him. The driver was a girl, who was the same age as him. She was driving without a license. But the thing was that she was a rich kid.
Although that girl didn't apologize to him, her parents did pay his medical bills. Her parents also scolded her in front of him. He didn't know whether it was a farce or not, but he didn't mind it all. He was safe and sound that only mattered to him. But the damage that girl caused him turned out to be more serious than he thought.
Later after his recovery, the Doctors told him that even though they will be able to heal his leg, but due to some impact of the car, few nerves of his left leg were damaged. Due to this, he will not be able to walk properly…

'I will choose the potion. Give me that potion.'
[Is host sure?]
'Yes. I am 100% sure. I want that potion.'
[Host's command has been acknowledged.]
Soon magically and a small bottle appeared in Arvin's hand. It was a bottle whose length was only 3 inches. That bottle contained 3-4 drops of gold liquid. As Arvin looked at the bottle, he closed his eyes and took a deep breath. He uncorked the bottle and ingested all the liquid in the bottle.
The liquid was very sweet like it was honey. But unlike honey, it was not that dense. As that liquid started entering Arvin's stomach it started showing its effect.
Arvin's heart skipped and beat and then started beating more furiously. The bones of Arvin's body started cracking. Soon the bone marrow that was initially inside his bones started pouring out. Soon a new more refined and stronger bone marrow started forming in his bones. And his bones also started healing themselves while also becoming stronger and harder than before.
His left leg also started healing. While his skin started shedding. And soon new skin also started forming…
While this was happening, Arvin was in intense pain. His whole body was being restructured. And it felt like someone was constantly ramming him with a 200-tonne truck over and over again. It was a very painful experience for him. It was so painful that no voice came out of his mouth as he opened his mouth. The only sound that he was able to transmit was a grunting sound.
If someone would have listened to those voices then they could have taken those noises like a man's voice who is very close to an orgasm….
......…
Alman was very angry right now. One of the earthlings that he had brought back had run away. He was very angry at that earthling. Because of that earthling, he had lost face with a big merchant family. They were willing to pay a good amount for him. Even though he was crippled and had scars on his face, they were willing to buy him. But his plan was spoiled as that brat ran away. Alman ordered his man to find him. But even after 2 hours to search, they were not able to find his traces.
Alman was angry. He had sworn that the day the boy reappears on the 1st floor he will make sure to pay back his debt with interest….

"What should we do now boss?" Jonny asked Alman.
"Find him. Discreetly. Keep a lookout for him. There will come a day when he will reappear on the 1st floor. That day will be the last." Alman said with an angry expression on his face.
"Ok boss. But boss what will happen if he becomes someone big?" Jonny asked
"What do you mean?"
"What if he enters the chart?"
"Then I will be there with a congratulating gift in my hands opening my arms to him," Alman said sarcastically.
"….."
"Idiot he is a cripple. Even if he can attain a ranking in the chart, he still is nothing in front of me." Alman said proudly.
"That is boss for you…. By the way, I wanted to ask you… Is the difference between two floors that large?"
"Of course it is. You are just a bumpkin that knows nothing. The difference between the two consecutive floors is very huge. The same logic could also be applied to people and beasts that roam in the floors."
"So the people of the second floor are stronger than that of the 1st floor?"
"Yes. But this logic does not apply to earthlings. That is why I want to keep an eye out for that boy."
"I understood boss. But still, boss how earthlings are different?"
"You are too weak to know that information," Alman said.
"I understand boss," Jonny said. He did not inquire any further. As Jonny knew that he lived in a world where asking too many questions could be very disastrous for him. That is why he kept quiet….
.......
After experiencing the agonizing process, Arvin fainted. He lied there hidden behind the stacks of wood till night. But he abruptly woke up when he heard a loud noise…
BAAAM
The door of the big building was flung open forcefully. Out of the door, three men came out. Out of the three, two men were wearing black color clothes. They both had bulging muscles. Even the black clothes of those two men could not hide their bulging muscles. Both of those men were escorting an old man out of the building.
That old man was wearing a shabby robe. He has a long white beard. His face looked flushed. The redness on his face showed signs that the old man was drunk. Those two men threw the old man outside of the door and then closed the door behind them.
Arvin saw all that had transpired while hiding behind the stack of woods. After those two men left while leaving the unconscious old man behind, he finally got up from that place. As both of them left, Arvin got and inspected his body.
His whole body was covered with black color gooey stuff. The place he was lying was covered with dead skin and what looked like blood. He didn't know what that potion did to him, but he felt very good. His body felt very light. The bad smell that he was emitting was the only party pooper that he could see.
Arvin looked at the clothes that he was wearing. They were ruined because of the gooey stud and blood. He needed new clothes and that too fast. As he was thinking abruptly looked at the old man that was lying drunk in the alley. He looked around and found no one was in the vicinity.
With an evil smile on his face, Arvin undressed that old man and took his clothes. He didn't throw away his old clothes as they were a memento of his old world, his old life. He cleaned the filth on his body with his hands. That took care of the black gooey stuff. Still, he smelled like shit. But he didn't care. He wore that old man's clothes. Although they were a little bit too tight for him, he didn't mind it at all.
The alley was empty for now, but he feared that someone might come out of the big building. So he thought that it would be a good idea to make some distance between him and the building….
'With these clothes, I will be able to blend in with the people of this world. I should not worry about Alman now, as my scar has healed now. I don't think that he will be able to recognize me. But still, I should be careful…' Arvin started thinking as he walked away from an unconscious naked old man…

The tags selected at the making of this novel should, therefore, be considered as being "possibilities" instead of promises.
