Black Tech Internet Cafe System Chapter 229 – I’m Not Trying to Target Anyone

“Mr. Fang! The fog is rising! That’s strange!” Zou Mo walked into the cabin and saw Fang Qi and the corpse that the white-faced cultivator was dragging.
He shivered slightly!
“He’s… dead?!”
The white-faced cultivator carefully observed them and left with the body.
“Mr. Fa… Fang…” Shaking, Zou Mo walked up and looked at the blood on the floor. “What… What happened?!”
“I don’t know,” Fang Qi said, “I heard someone in the room next to mine yell ‘this boat isn’t going to Black Dragon City! I want to get off!’ When I opened the door, I saw the sight that you just saw.”
“What?!” Zou Mo looked at Fang Qi in confusion.
Fang Qi chuckled, “Just kidding. Do you know a place called Half City?”
“Half City?” Zou Mo looked at Fang Qi in bafflement, and he shivered subconsciously in alarm. “Why are you asking about that place?”
Understanding suddenly dawned on him. “Do… Do you mean the destination of this spiritual boat is Half City?!”
“Mr. Fang… We…” Hearing the name of this place, he stuttered and said, “We must run…”
“Someone else shared your thought.” Fang Qi pointed at the direction of the blood trail and replied, “His body is cold now.”
Zou Mo: “…”
Fang Qi asked, “Tell me about this Half City.”
“Half City…” Zou Mo tried to describe it with his limited vocabulary. “In fact, I don’t know much about it. I only heard that it’s a mysterious and terrifying place where many evil cultivators and bandits hide. It is the cradle of evil and crimes!”
“It’s said that they could even auction kings, emperors, and aristocrats there causally, and the monsters feeding on blood walk freely in that place.”
“It sounds like a tale used to scare the kids who don’t want to sleep…” Fang Qi rubbed his chin with a dark expression. “But it sounds like there are many rich people there. It must be richer than Black Dragon City that is said to have many cultivators, right?”

Zou Mo didn’t know how to respond.
“Then, we’ll go to Half City.”
Sweating all over, Zou Mo said, “It’s said that the city is full of evil monsters! No wonder that guy killed people like killing a chicken… He comes from that place!”
“The cultivators always kill each other.” Fang Qi waved his hands.
Zou Mo’s legs turned to jelly and he asked, “Mr. Fang, aren’t you afraid?”
“Afraid?” Fang Qi looked at this young man who was one head shorter than him and said, “I’m only afraid that they are poor.”
“Okay. Let’s return to the rooms and have a good sleep. Tomorrow, we’ll reach the new city with high spirits.” Fang Qi stretched. This city sounded to be rich, very rich! That lifted his mood that had been low since he began this long journey.
“Ugh…”
…
Where is Boss now? He isn’t doing a livestream today. In the shop, Jiang Xiaoyue ate a bowl of instant noodles and thought, He must have gone out to have fun!
Xiao Yulv walked into the shop and looked around. “Where’s the shop owner? There’s no livestream today? Isn’t he going to finish playing Diablo?”
“Boss is out on a long trip.” Jiang Xiaoyue glanced at him. “Don’t you know that?”
“A long trip?! When will he return?!” Xiao Yulv raised his voice. His favorite activity each day was watching the shop owner play games since no one could play as well as him with so few mistakes! Out of all the players here, Fang Qi’s gameplay was the most fun to watch.
“I don’t know.” Jiang Xiaoyue rolled her eyes. “You seem more eager for his return than me!”
“Ugh…” Xiao Yulv froze, and then he cleared his throat and said with an earnest expression, “I’m not eager for his return! I wish that he would never come back!”
Jiang Xiaoyue finished her noodles and patted her belly. “It’s so delicious!”

Then, she looked around and found that the peak hours had passed since all the people had finished eating instant noodles and were now playing. She immediately walked from the counter and skipped to a seat before opening the Legend of the Sword and Fairy!
“Hey! How come you can play games?!” Xiao Yulv was baffled.
Then, he said in excitement, “Well! I know everything about the plot in this game and the hidden treasures! You can’t imagine what I know! I’ll tell you how to finish the game and get the ending in which Yueru lives!”
Xiao Yulv walked over eagerly.
…
“Get off board! Get off!”
“I’m dead! I’m dead!” Hearing the shouts, Zou Mo shivered in his room. “I shouldn’t have taken this spiritual boat because of the cheap fare… I’m dead!”
Knock! Knock! Knock!
“I say, Little Mo, are you going or not?”
“Go?” Zou Mo shrunk into a ball and shivered with extreme fear in his room. “Where are we going?! Will they kill us?”
“How would I know? The boat docked. Are you going? If you aren’t going, I’ll just go.” Fang Qi opened the door and looked at Zou Mo who was hiding in the corner.
“Docked?” Zou Mo stood up slowly with gritted teeth. “The worse case is that I will die. F*ck it!”
Almost all cities prohibited spiritual boats from flying across them, and this spiritual boat docked outside of the city gate as usual.
However, when Fang Qi saw some huge spiritual boats floating in the sky above the city, he knew that this city didn’t prohibit flying. This city was huge, but close to half of the city was in ruins; it was quite a strange sight.
The other half was filled with high buildings with various styles. The tall ones had dozens to 100 floors while the short ones had one to two stories like the residential houses in Jiuhua City.
However, even the low residential houses were not crude; almost all of them emitted faint spiritual essence fluctuations, and the walls were as white as new.
At first glance, even Fang Qi hadn’t seen such a weird city before.
The people walking on the streets were cultivators in all kinds of attires, and there were almost no warriors among them.
There were altogether a little over ten people getting off the boat, and they walked after the white-faced cultivator and the spiritual boat’s owner, a thin cultivator with a mouse-whisker-like mustache.
Fang Qi followed them into the city and twisted and turned while walking down about eight streets.
He looked around and found that the streets were clean and orderly.
Of course, if he didn’t see several cultivators robbing someone in a dark alley, his impression wouldn’t have changed.
“Sell the talented ones as medicine boys and use the talentless ones to make elixirs.”
“We can make a big profit this time… The guy wearing the greyish-blue robe seems to have some cultivation strength, and the short one has some talent…”
Fang Qi’s face turned dark while he listened to them talk about him as if he were pounds of pork. I can’t take it anymore…
With this thought, Fang Qi walked up to them and said, “Guys.”
All of them looked at Fang Qi who suddenly walked up to them.
“I appreciate that you took me here, but I have to say this. I’m not trying to target anyone; all of you are trash,” Fang Qi said politely.
All of them looked at Fang Qi in astonishment.
They froze for a while and then laughed loudly.
They looked at him as if he were a moron who had no life experience outside of his home.
