The Numbers That Brought Our Fates Together Chapter 50: He Gives Me Creeps.

Elena made an order, and happy Yun sat down at a table with a huge basket of chicken and a glass of cola.

"Are you sure it will be enough for you?" He pointed to three lonely strips and a glass of tea in front of Elena. "Anyway, I can share. You are paying, after all."

"Yes, I am sure it will be enough."

"Oh, well, thanks for the treat, then," he replied and began to stuff his face with his portion of chicken. "Are you not afraid that you will be caught with an unknown handsome man at night?" You are a public person now."

"I'm not afraid, it's 2 A.M., and there's almost no one here. Furthermore, the company of a strange little boy is unlikely to affect my reputation."

The guy wanted to respond to Elena's humiliating comment about his age, but, noticing the smiling face of the girl, took her words as a joke and smiled in response. "You know, you are not like what I imagined."

"What do you mean by that? Somewhat I do not understand should I be happy about your comment or sad?" Elena grinned.

"In a good way, of course! I thought you would be arrogant and cynical, considering who your father is. So I'm happy you turned out to be a good person."

"You're insulting my father for the second time already. Doesn't it seem to you that it is impolite towards the person who is currently treating you?"

Yun pulled a chicken bone from his mouth and pointed with it toward Elena. "Listen to me, sis, I understand that children are not responsible for the sins of their parents, but your President Lee is a disgusting person. He is interested only in profit, but he does not care about the lives of ordinary people at all".

"And what reasons make you think so?" Elena's face became more serious because she could not ignore the accusation of such kind.

"I have very good reasons! He killed my mother!" Yun yelled angrily.

"W-what are you saying? How is that even possible?" The girl was stunned by the answer she had heard.

"No, I do not claim that he personally did it himself, but it still does not negate the fact that it is his fault! When I was nine years old, my mother became very sick. She needed an expensive medicine, and we had to sell our apartment and rent a room in the dirtiest part of the city, full of bandits. Every time we went outside, it could be our last day; it was so dangerous out there! But even this money was not enough to cure mom. And then…," the guy fell silent because he had a lump in his throat and he was just about to burst into tears.

Taking a few breaths and having calmed down a bit, he continued, "And then, one day, a well-dressed man knocked on our door. He said that he is a representative of Lee Pharmaceuticals and that the company holds a charity event for people with the same illness as my mother had. This person asked us to fill out some questionnaire, left a whole box of necessary medications for us and went away. We were incredibly happy, because, finally, we had hope for a happy future. But it did not last long. That same evening, immediately after taking medicine, my mother felt very bad, and she died right in my arms, screaming from wild pain! And you think that I will not call your father a murderer after this?! He is the murderer!"

Elena was looking at the young man silently and did not know what to say.

Yun, seeing the reaction of the girl, just smirked. "That's why I told you that your father is a real piece of a scumbag. Do you think everything was over for me that day? Not at all! The next day, I hid at the entrance to the Lee Pharmaceuticals building and waited for your father, and when he arrived and got out of the car, I rushed to meet him demanding to hold responsibility for his crime. And you know what he did? He looked at me, at a 9-year-old kid, as if I was nothing, and ordered the guards to throw me out! And when I returned home, everything was turned upside down in our room, and the medicine box was gone as if it never existed!"

There was silence at the table for a few minutes.

"I am very sorry that such a misfortune happened to your mother. I suppose that you were very hurt. I never had a mother, so I don't know what it is like to lose your loved ones. But I don't think that President Lee is capable of such villainy. At least my father, who I know, would not have done that," Elena answered calmly.

The young man looked at her carefully and sighed, "You know, you are too serious for your age. But, thank God, not as serious as that sadist."

"What connects you with Alan? I don't think his company will be a good example for you," Elena decided to take a moment and find out what she invited him here for.

"Good company or bad company doesn't really matter to me. This person actually saved me from death when I was hungry wandering through the streets. He gave me a place where I can live in. If it were not Alan and Master, I would have been a rotten corpse long ago," said the young man, with eyes full of admiration.

"And what does your Master do? What kind of person is he?" Elena continued to ask leading questions, hoping to somehow dig to the truth.

"To be honest, I saw him only once, a handsome man, but the way he looked at me… ugh… It gave me shivers," the young man raised a glass of coke to his lips and fell silent.

His face froze in horror as if he had just seen a ghost. He abruptly put the glass on the table, quickly put the last piece of chicken in his mouth, threw a hood over his head and hurriedly got up from the table.

"You know, sis, I seem to have said a little too much. I have to go. Thank you for the food," he said and disappeared from the cafe with the speed of lightning.

Elena just turned her head in his direction and saw that the guy had already disappeared.

'OK. What has got into him?' She thought and brought the glass of tea to her lips.

Suddenly something flashed in her head, and the girl froze at that moment, 'Stop… Just now… .'

She immediately turned her head toward the window and faced a pair of sizzling eyes, staring at her. The man was standing outside on the other side of the window, and the aura coming from him was far from friendly.

Elena swallowed a lump in her throat and, without noticing it, said: "D-David??"
