Ju-Heon was truly shocked after seeing the man standing in front of him .

It was rare to see this kind of expression on his face .

Other people might just think that he looked like a slightly shocked rabbit, however…

But it made sense that Ju-Heon was shocked .

This was his Hunter who always took care of the tomb raiding team’s unbreakable defense and attack . Ju-Heon’s great partner who worked with him on the close-range combat side .

Why was he here?

Ju-Heon could not get rid of the shock on his face .

Dan smiled extremely brightly toward Ju-Heon .

“Yes, Captain-nim . ”

He seemed extremely happy to find Ju-Heon .

However, the enemies would not leave them alone to chat .

They were all just bullshit in Dan’s ears .

Every second he could talk to Ju-Heon was important .

Dan’s eyes scrunched together as if he decided this wouldn’t work .

“Captain-nim, please sit down and stop your bleeding for a moment . ”

He pulled out the knife he had kept sheathed because he was in front of Ju-Heon .

It looked like a butcher’s knife at first glance .

He also didn’t seem to have any artifacts on him . He didn’t even have a defense-type artifact like the other Hunters .

All he was wearing was an extremely old pair of jeans and a shabby wind-breaker .

No wonder the other Hunters were in disbelief .

They were wondering who had shown up but…

He looked like a civilian and they didn’t want to use their artifacts because it seemed like a waste to use up some durability on this guy .

“Who the hell are you?”

Dan nonchalantly pointed his knife forward .

They chuckled .

‘Does he think any dumbass becomes a Hunter if they call themselves one?’

“Look at this dumbass acting all tough because he has a knife and some muscles . ”

“He looks like a noob who just joined Seo Ju-Heon’s team . Don’t say we didn’t warn you, you son of a bitch!”

The veteran Hunters charged toward Dan with their fancy artifacts .

Dan was just a noob .

On the other hand, they were all specially trained by large excavation teams .

‘There’s no way he’s at our lev……’

It was at that moment .

Dan suddenly disappeared .

They all questioned their eyes .

They heard a scream not too far away .

An area had been scorched already once they heard the scream .

If they looked back after hearing a scream now someone on the other side would be down .

The only thing that could be heard other than the urgent shouts were the sounds of artifacts breaking and people screaming .

Multiple people charged together after realizing they couldn’t let this continue .

But none of that mattered .

Dan leisurely twisted one of their necks and used that bastard as a shield and threw him to the others before cutting out the rest of their legs .

The direction of his knife instantly changed left and right .

It was terrible .

They couldn’t even land a finger on Dan .

Dan was even killing them with his bare hand, as if he thought a single knife was not enough .

There were some enemies who started to use their heads .

Their goal was Seo Ju-Heon .

This bastard must not know how much bounty there was on Ju-Heon’s head .

They just needed to take care of Ju-Heon while Dan’s attention was on the others .

Some of the smarter enemies started to move toward Ju-Heon . They weren’t going at him with regular attacks .

They were going at him with a knife that was covered in poison that was strong enough to kill an elephant almost instantly . They snuck up using an artifact to turn themselves invisible before aiming for Ju-Heon’s vital points .

However, there was no way Ju-Heon wouldn’t have noticed them . Ju-Heon quickly tried to defend, however……

Dan was much faster .

The dagger aiming for Ju-Heon was stabbed into Dan’s thick arm .

He had been committing a massacre on the other side but had instantly appeared in front of Ju-Heon and extended his arm .

The assassin who had aimed for Ju-Heon became flustered .

He could not pull the knife out of Dan’s arm .

Dan started to laugh viciously .

“How dare you try to attack the Captain-nim . ”

The assassin died as soon as Dan said that .

The rest of the team other than Ilya came to support Ju-Heon and Dan .

However, they scolded Dan as soon as they saw him .

His monster-like speed and abilities were all explainable if they factored in the Heirloom and the S-Grade possession-type Saurabi artifact .

They did not think that he had gotten his memories back .

Yoo Jaeha seemed to be feeling guilty about something as he slowly tried to escape but Ju-Heon’s eyes flashed .

Ju-Heon grabbed Yoo Jaeha by the collar as if he expected Jaeha to be responsible for this .

“Did you make a fake without me knowing about it again? Did you use Dan as the guinea pig for it?”

Yoo Jaeha saw the look in Ju-Heon’s eyes and started to scream for his life .

He really might have died if Ju-Heon could use artifacts right now .

Ju-Heon’s group’s artifacts fell around the enemies as if a god was helping them out .

The other excavation teams were extremely happy .

Ju-Heon’s doggie artifacts, the artifacts from the 7 Great tombs, Seol-A’s ghost artifact, da Vinci’s artifact… Solomon’s artifact, Nightingale’s artifact, etc .

For some reason, all of their precious artifacts landed in the enemies’ hands .

This must be a last act of defiance from the Heirlooms that were captured by Ju-Heon .

Ju-Heon looked at the doggie artifacts captured by the enemies and started to scoff .

“Hey . You doggos over there . Are you thinking about betraying me?”

The Egyptian Divine-Grade artifacts truly felt wronged .

The enemies grabbed the doggie artifacts and threatened Ju-Heon .

They could tell by looking at Ju-Heon’s movements . He was only holding a regular dagger even when he was surrounded by Hunters .
