Chapter 293: 293
Chapter 293: Swallowing the Knights and Crushing the Holy Father
“Have a few more people who are not afraid of dying arrived?” Ling Jiu sneered as he looked at the 18 Knights Templars who surrounded him. “Get out of the way if you don’t want to die. I have no time for all of you.”
“Slash of Light!”
The 18 Knights Templars roared as they drew their Swords of Holy Light. It burst with a dazzling white light as they struck the sword down at Ling Jiu.
18 incredibly sharp sword lights shot out, tearing apart the void, and came in front of Ling Jiu. Typical Sacred would not withstand this attack and be cut into 18 pieces. But was Ling Jiu a typical Sacred?
“You’re all biting off more than you can chew.”
Shaking his head slightly, Ling Jiu did not dodge but let the 18 Slashes of Light strike him. He took the 18 strikes to the shock of everyone’s life.
Everyone was horrified to see the Sword of Holy Light hit Ling Jiu with a loud clunk. But he was unhurt apart from a series of sparks flying all around.
“H-How could this be possible?”
The 18 Knights Templars were stunned.
The representatives of the major forces who came to observe the ceremony were just as stunned as the Holy Father of Light and the top leaders of the Light Curia.
“I can’t believe that he is unscathed having taken the full blow of 18 Knights Templars! Is this guy a monster? How strong is his body?”
“Even the strongest Sacred-class Magic Beasts, the Vajra Giant Turtle, can’t possibly withstand the attack of 18 Knights Templars without suffering heavy injury!”
“What kind of monster is this guy?”
There was an uproar among the spectators.
“Formation!”
The 18 Knights Templars reacted quickly. They formed a Light Battle Formation, trying to stack their 18 attacks into one when they saw their earlier attack fail.
“You all are just annoying!”
Ling Jiu frowned slightly. As he opened his mouth and inhaled, a black hole appeared and swallowed the 18 Knights Templars.

The black hole disappeared, and the light returned to the sky. But those Knights Templars had disappeared.
“Where are the Knights Templars?”
“Where have they gone?”
People watched in disbelief as the Knights Templars vanished. Was Ling Jiu still a human being when he swallowed 18 people at once?
The Holy Father of Light slowly rose into the air at this time, his aura becoming stronger as he rose. When he reached the same height as Ling Jiu in the air, his aura had reached an unparalleled level.
It was unfathomable as the abyss in the sea.
“It is His Majesty the Holy Father!”
“His Majesty the Holy Father strikes back!”
Everyone went delirious in an instant when they saw the Holy Father appear in the air. The Holy Father had presided over the Light Curia for 100 years and has a lofty status in the hearts of the people in the Light Empire. He was the pillar and bastion of stability of the empire.
Seeing him take action, people instantly felt relieved at seeing his appearance.
“I don’t know who you are, what your background is, and what your purpose of coming to the Holy Hill of Light is.” The Holy Father of Light looked at Ling Jiu, his voice avuncular with reassuring magical energy. “But you made a big mistake when you came looking for trouble in the Light Curia and killed the new Holy Father as well as the Knights Templars. You have sinned!”
A blinding light erupted from the Holy Father of Light as soon as he finished talking. The next moment, a 100-meter light appeared behind him. The light had six wings on its back, the head of an eagle, and the body of a human, which looked exactly like the statue of Light.
“The God of Light!”
“It is the great God of Light!”
All the believers at the scene went down to their knees and prayed devoutly at seeing the enormous light above the Holy Father of Light.
“Judgment of Light!”
As the Holy Father of Light stretched out his hand and struck with his hand, the shadow of the God of Light also raised its right hand and struck down at Ling Jiu.

Ling Jiu did not dodge when he saw this. Instead, he did nothing but let the giant palm hit him. Yet nothing had happened to him.
The giant palm that covered the sky trembled violently and then exploded into light and shadow.
“How could this be possible?” The face of the Holy Father of Light changed drastically.
“Is it over? It is my turn now.”
The corner of Ling Jiu’s mouth curled up in a wicked smile as he stretched out, clenched his right hand into a fist, and struck.
“Kaboom!”
A loud boom rose in the void as Ling Jiu’s fist tore the void open and came in front of the Holy Father of Light.
“Guardian of Light!”
The Holy Father of Light quickly performed a Guardian of Light in desperation with the six wings of the phantom of the God of Light, shielding him from above.
It was a pity that Ling Jiu’s fist still crushed the wings of the God of Light and struck him in the chest.
The chest of the Holy Father of Light collapsed inwardly. He burped up a mouthful of blood as he flew out backward like a cannonball shot out from the chamber. He did not stop until he hit the Pantheon of Light and crashed through the ceiling.
“Your Majesty the Holy Father!”
The top leaders of the Curia were shocked. They quickly rushed into the pantheon, looking for their Holy Father. Those believers and representatives of the various forces on the square gasped in horror, their expression changing.
The Holy Father of Light was an apex Sacred, one that truly stood at the top of the power pyramid on Auguland. His Guardian of Light was deemed as the most powerful defensive spell on the entire Auguland. Yet, he could not even withstand a punch from Ling Jiu?
How terrifying was Ling Jiu’s strength?
“What the hell is this thing, Leoux?”
He did not know how shocked other people were. Even if he knew, he would not have cared less. He was more interested in the scarlet crystal in his hand, wondering what it was.
“It is the crystallization of a perfect three-dimensional being,” Leoux explained. “The perfect three-dimensional being has comprehended half of the laws, and is starting to form the Body of the Laws. Do you know what the Body of the Laws is?”
Ling Jiu shook his head.
“The Body of the Laws uses its own physical body as a template. It brands the laws of the universe on the body, so the body has the characteristics of the laws. This is the Body of the Laws,” Leoux said. “The formation of the Body of the Laws will increase combat strength tremendously with the laws of the universe in the cells and blood.”
“You said that this thing is the crystallization of a perfect three-dimensional being. Could it be…” Ling Jiu narrowed his eyes slightly.
“Since it is the crystallization of a perfect three-dimensional being, this thing contains not only the powerful vitality of perfect three-dimensional beings but also has part of the cosmic laws imprinted in it,” Leoux said. “As long as you refine and infuse this thing into you, you will not only improve your physical body tremendously but also comprehend the laws of the universe. Your strength will increase enormously to a terrific level in a short time.”
“I didn’t know that!” Ling Jiu now understood. But he had another question. “Where did they get this thing? Isn’t the most powerful person in Auguland the super-clustered beings?”
There were the stellar beings, galactic beings, super-clustered beings, and then the perfect three-dimensional beings.
On a planet where the most powerful being was only a super-clustered being, there was a crystallization of a perfect three-dimensional being. What was going on here?
“That is the key question,” Leoux said in a low voice. “If you want to figure out this problem, talk to that God of Light if you want to know the answer.”
Ling Jiu nodded slightly. “It’s time to have a little chat with him.”

I was Born the Unloved Twin
You've probably heard this sort of story before. Once upon a time, blah blah blah a boy and a girl fell love and everything was beautiful and perfect, except for this thing called life getting in their way. He was this cool foreign prince and she was basically perfect. Really it's a very boring run of the mill story. I'll even spoil it for you, they kill the villainess at the end. Not the type of story I'd read personally. So where do I fit into this?Apparently I'm her older twin sister and the very very lucky fiance to the foreign prince. You know, the dead villainess? Sucks I know. Now I get to do it all over again from the beginning.Curse my life ------ So you're somewhat interested in what this thing is about and looking to see if it's even worth reading? Let's get the worst of it out of the way first: This is a boring story, very tedious, mundane and downright just boring. It's too slow, the characters are too confusing & make possibly retarded choices. It's an isekai/reborn type Slice of Life novel that plays on the villainess noble girl trope but the MC gets no OP cheats, no magical powers, not even some satisfying face slapping or such self-fulfillment fantasy. Wow, I'm doing a terrible job advertising this thing. If you're somehow still interested, if you were ever interested how an average modern person, reborn with all their host's memories, could live out their life in this situation, mending personal relationships one step at a time, or wondered what happened in between all the time skips in other novels, maybe give Unloved Twin a try. This is an awkward novel, the pacing is slow, and there is no time skips. For some reason still, I really love this little story I'm making. Talk to me on: https://discord.gg/ARkSMFPbew

A Spirit Vein's Guide to Immortality
TL;DR Synopsis: Man dies from falling banana, gets interrogated but answers vaguely, suffers consequences Actual synopsis: Spirit veins. Many consider them to be the pillar on which the world of cultivation is built. These things served as the foundation for the first few realms that would allow humanity to achieve its everlasting dream of immortality. However, in the present age, these pockets of condensed energy only exist to be under the foundations of massive organizations, fostering a new generation of fighters while passively radiating the energy they contain. Nevertheless, spirit veins are still an important element in the world of cultivation, albeit much less so. With that in mind, have you ever considered what it would be like for someone to turn into a spirit vein? No? Well, Arthur never thought about it either. Going through the usual reincarnation schtick (if one could consider it usual), Arthur was eventually brought into a place where a god asked him where he would like to be reborn. Unsurprisingly, Arthur told the god his ideal rebirth. However, soon enough, he would come to realize that he should have been more specific with it. Now being reborn as the smallest spirit vein, or if you could even consider him a spirit vein, Arthur wondered what he could do other than wait for time to consume him…and that’s where the system came in. With it, he would experience multiple stories of hardships, adventure, romance, and action…all underground. Unless…? Do keep in mind that English is not my first language, so I would like to apologize in advance if there are any grammatical errors, typos, miscalculations and so on. In fact, I'd highly appreciate it if you tell me those mistakes. Also, this story focuses quite a lot on the gradual progression of the MC at the beginning, but in the long run, upgrading sprees would probably be more common. Thanks for reading this small note!
