Chapter 257: 257
Chapter 257: Shared Wealth, the Gods Return
Earth’s current civilization level was not particularly high. Without the many wormholes, the scope of Earth’s extraterrestrial activity would only be limited to Earth’s lunar system.
This was typical of an elementary civilization, so Earth was at best an elementary civilization.
An elementary civilization’s understanding of the universe was extremely scarce, and everything was only limited to speculations and telescope observations. Perhaps, there was even a very limited understanding of their own parent star system.
However, Earth was different from your ordinary elementary civilization. Thanks to the wormholes and 1269, Earth’s understanding of the universe and the cultivation system was beyond that of many advanced civilizations.
Earthlings knew about the level of civilizations, and they knew about the level of cultivations in the universe.
Earthlings knew how powerful each level of civilization was, and they also had knowledge of how to cultivate on each lifeform level.
So, although the technology on Earth was limited to that of an elementary civilization level, their knowledge was far beyond it.
At least, the upper echelons of humanity such as Emperor Might would know many things that are unknown to others.
One such example was the White Hole.
1269 had told Emperor Might about the benefits of the White Hole more than once. Therefore, not only did Emperor Might know about the White Hole, but he also had a deep understanding of it.
Hearing what Ling Jiu said—that he had stayed on the planet for more than a year, only to find that only a few days had passed on Earth—Emperor Might realized that the planet Ling Jiu had referred to must be near the White Hole!
Emperor Might was excited. “Ling Jiu, where’s that planet? Bring us there!”
Emperor Might’s state of mind was extremely refined, and he was a man of few emotions. So, to see him so inexplicably excited now, one could imagine his anticipation.
Vulcan was almost as excited as he was.
“The wormhole that connects to White Hole 3 is in Ganymede. We can go anytime.”
Ling Jiu smiled.
“Let’s head over now!”
Emperor Might and Vulcan could no longer wait, as they were eager to confirm things.
“All right then!”
Ling Jiu was helpless, so he brought the two excited old men there.
An hour later, the three came to Ganymede. Then, they passed through the wormhole into White Hole 3.
Appearing on the surface of White Hole 3 and feeling the rich Dark Bio-Energy, both Emperor Might and Vulcan wore a look of extreme ecstasy.
“Brother Might, the air on this planet is filled with a strange powerful energy. I can feel that this energy is from the same source as the Gene Arcana and the mysterious energy created by the Arcana Tree. However, it is much thicker and more condensed as well as powerful,” Vulcan said with amazement.
“Is this the Dark Bio-Energy you often talked about?”
“It shouldn’t be wrong!”

Emperor Might took a deep breath. “1269 once said that the Dark Bio-Energy existed widely in the dark universe. And once being transmitted into a planet, it will see a steep energy-level decline, becoming Gene Arcana of the preceding level, with the exception of the White Hole.”
“So it is the Dark Bio-energy!”
Vulcan found it hard to suppress the excitement in his heart. “The Dark Bio-energy’s power is ten times more powerful than Gene Arcana, and with the Dark Bio-energy being so rich here, if we were to train here, our cultivation speed will increase dramatically!”
“This is indeed a rare cultivation spot.” Emperor Might was also very excited.
This is enough to sent you guys into such a state of elation? Ling Jiu then continued. “There are five planets near this White Hole. I’ve numbered them separately, from White Hole 1 to 5. ”
“White Hole 1 is the closest to the White Hole, and its Dark Bio-energy is the most potent, and time flows the fastest there, while White Hole 5 is the least.”
“Five planets?”
Both Emperor Might and Vulcan were stunned for a moment, before looking around. “What is the name of the planet beneath our feet?”
“White Hole 3.”
Ling Jiu smiled. “Of these five planets, the one most suitable for training is White 2, the Bio-energy is the second richest there, and its time-flow is also the second fastest.”
“And it is a green planet, with many scary Direbeasts in it. It is the best suited for living, settlement and training.”
“White Hole 2? Let’s have a look!”
With the Leoux, going from White Hole 3 to White Hole 2, to be very honest, would be very troublesome due to the vast distance.
Fortunately, the time passed very fast around the White Hole, and so they were not short on time, and Ling Jiu had time to slowly open up wormholes.
About five days later, Ling Jiu finally opened a wormhole linking White Hole 3 to White Hole 2, and the three arrived at White Hole 2.
Emperor Might and Vulcan liked White Hole 2 at the very first glance.
As Ling Jiu said, White Hole 2 was a forest planet, and this alone was much better than White Hole 3, not to mention that White Hole 2’s energy was even more potent, and its flow of time faster.
In other words, White Hole 2 was more suitable for long-term training.
“The only flaw to say is that White Hole 2 has many terrifying Direbeasts, with many stellar-level lifeforms, and even galactic-level lifeforms are not in the minority.”
Ling Jiu looked at Emperor Might and Vulcan who could not wait to start training, and reminded them. “So there are existences here that could easily kill us, we need to be careful…”
“We know that.”
“This, you can rest easy, Brother Ling Jiu. We both had clawed our way out from a mountain of corpses, we know how to protect ourselves.”

Emperor Might and Vulcan expressed their understanding and gratitude for Ling Jiu’s reminder.
Ling Jiu nodded, knowing that his concerns were probably unnecessary, and so he asked. “Chairman, Brother Vulcan, both of you are staying here to train?”
“Of course!”
The two nodded without hesitation.
“Go train then. There are a few wormholes connecting the planets, you can come back at any time.” Ling Jiu smiled.
“What about you Brother Ling, not going to train with us?” Vulcan frowned and asked.
“I’m going back to get my family over.” Ling Jiu smiled. “Since the training environment here is so good, might as well bring them here to benefit from it.”
“Oh I see!”
Vulcan realized and then said. “Since Brother Ling said that, should we reveal this place to the public?”
“We should.”
Emperor Might said. “The White Hole is the shared wealth of all mankind, and should be shared by all. But obviously, the ones can only survive here are stellar lifeforms.”
Ling Jiu and Vulcan nodded in unison.
The route from Earth to White Hole 2 was as follow: >Earth → Mars→Europa→Ganymede→White Hole 3→White Hole 2.
It was connected by five wormholes, but due to them needed to passes through Mars, and the high-pressure oceans beneath Europa and Ganymede, and being exposed to the atmosphere of White Hole 2 and White Hole 3, so only stellar lifeform have the capability to train in White Hole 2.
No one else, not even a Level 9 Arcanist with a Venom Suit could do it.
“So the question is, should we inform other stellar lifeforms.”
Emperor Might looked at Ling Jiu and Vulcan, and sought their opinion. “Normally, we should be informing the rest, but if all stellar lifeforms were to leave Earth, who would suppress the Divine Caverns?”
Vulcan frowned, but Ling Jiu asked with confusion. “Chairman, what is the Divine Caverns?”
“Ling Jiu, you have no idea.” Emperor Might said helplessly. “Earth is under all kinds of threats, and the 36 Divine Beast Gods aside, you already know about those. In reality, the real threat we are facing, comes primarily from the… Divine Caverns.”
“What is the Divine Caverns exactly?”
Ling Jiu was even more curious and dumbfounded.
“Brother Ling Jiu, you should know there are many mythological stories circulating on Earth, right?” Vulcan asked.
“Of course, what about it?”
Ling Jiu frowned slightly.
“What if I told you that some of the mythologies are real, would you believe it?” Vulcan asked again.
“The mythlogies are…real?”
Ling Jiu was stunned.
“There have been many countries, and nations on our planet, and there nations both existing now and in the past all had their own mythological systems.”
Emperor Might said solemnly. “Some of the mythological systems were fabricated out of thin air by our ancestors, but some of them… are real.”
Ling Jiu listened quietly, and he suddenly realized that what he was listening now may be the biggest secret on Earth.
“In ancient times, far, far away from our times now, many dimensional rifts had appeared on Earth, and Gene Arcana spilled all over the place.”
Emperor Might continued. “So, Earth in ancient times had given birth to many massive behemoths, and of course the world’s earliest Arcanists.”
“You should know, the minds of the people of the ancient era were extremely ignorant due to the lack of knowledge.”
“So, what happens when Arcanists appeared before ancient humans goes without saying right?”
Ling Jiu did not need long to have an answer. “So those Arcanists were feated as gods by those ancient humans?”
“Yes, gods.”
Emperor Might nodded his head. “The earliest Arcanists on Earth were indeed regarded as gods by humans of the time, and this was also the source of many gods and mythologies on Earth.”
“Until some day, the Gene Arcana on Earth suddenly dissipated, and these Arcanists feated as gods no longer had the resources to become stronger, so they left Earth. As for how they left, I think…you should know right?”
“Wormhole?”
Ling Jiu raised his eyebrow.
“Yes, through wormholes.”
Vulcan continued. “Our planet and the entire solar system are connected by many wormholes. As to when they appeared… no one knows, but wormholes existed widely across Earth and the solar system.”
“And then?”
Ling Jiu asked curiously.
“And those Arcanists known as gods, had left Earth using the wormholes, entering the vast space towards the distant stars.”
Emperor Might then continued. “It was until a few years ago, when the Gene Arcana level on Earth had reached a certain level, that some of the gods…came back.”
“They came back?”
Ling Jiu was shocked.
“Yes, they came back!”
Emperor Might nodded. “In year 2048, on June 6 four years ago, there was a shining light blasting out from the Gulf of Mexico.
“A person claiming to be the Goddess of Rain appeared in the bathing light, shouting that she wanted her divine light to shroud the world again.”
“This Rain Goddess was the first of the returning gods, and while she wasn’t that strong, and had managed to become a stellar lifeform, her combat power was about average.”
Vulcan said faintly. “Before me or Brother Might intervened, she was taken down by a stellar lifeform from the United States and was captured alive for study.”
“After some cross-examination, we learned that she was a goddess of the Nahuatl mythology.”
“She had left Earth because of the depletion of the Gene Arcana on Earth, but had returned after learning that Earth had regained its Gene Arcana.”
“From that moment on, we suddenly realized that we didn’t know much about Earth at all!”
“At least, we had never thought that before our own rise, there were already stellar lifeforms living on Earth in ancient times.”
“We panicked, and started to go through the ancient tomes to prevent new gods from reappearing, and then things proved that our apprehensions were right!”
