When the black-clad bodyguards at the entrance heard the sound of movement, they looked in the direction. All of them were shocked to see someone dashing at them all of a sudden.

However, these bodyguards were used to seeing a lot of action with their master. Soon, they realized what was going on. The two bodyguards who were closest to Zhao Youlin immediately rushed over to her. Meanwhile, the rest behind them set up a defensive formation.

Zhao Youlin’s eyes narrowed when she saw the two bodyguards coming to meet her head-to-head. She bent her body, crouched over, and like power stored in a spring, she released a burst of energy.

A dull thud was heard. Zhao Youlin swung her arm at the black-clad bodyguards and met them. She immediately noticed something unusual.

With a click, a blade abruptly popped out from its handle. The shiny object rapidly caught their attention, shocking their senses. The object in Zhao Youlin’s hand was actually a very sharp switchblade.

The bodyguards were startled once again when they saw Zhao Youlin’s switchblade. Without further ado, Zhao Youlin seized the opportunity and launched her attack on the two men.

Although the two black-clad bodyguards were very strong, the hallway was narrow and as such, their big bodies had trouble navigating in it.

On the contrary, it served as an advantage for Zhao Youlin. She was a lady and so, she was relatively smaller. Although she was weaker than a man, she was agile. Therefore, her skills shone in a narrow place like this.

Zhao Youlin knew where her strengths lay. She was also good at using them. Just like a loach swimming in the water, she moved agilely between the two bodyguards back and forth. She seized the opportunity by using her switchblade to leave marks on their bodies as a sign of triumph.

After a brief exchange, the two bodyguards gained several new cuts on their bodies. Meanwhile, Zhao Youlin was merely breathing a little rapidly.

The two bodyguards’ expressions were dark after being toyed with. Finally, they lost their cool. They shouted and lunged at Zhao Youlin.

Zhao Youlin had been waiting for this moment. She noticed a gap right before the first incoming bodyguard.

She spread out both of her hands behind her and made a nimble backflip. Her legs wrapped around the bodyguard’s neck, and she brought him to the ground with force. The bodyguard fell to the floor. He was still caught between her legs and could not move.

At the same time, she flipped the switchblade with the other hand and caught the raised fist of the other black-clad bodyguard midswing.

Everyone was dumbstruck by the events that all unfolded in a single instance.

After some time, the rest of the bodyguards who had remained at the entrance returned to their senses. They immediately rushed over to rescue their companions. But Zhao Youlin halted them with a single shout.

“Freeze! Whoever dares to take a step forward, I’ll slit his throat!”

The bodyguards were dumbfounded. They looked back and forth between their companion and Zhao Youlin without knowing how to respond.
