The Abandoned Hunter Chapter 208

"Come down if you dare!", Alon shouted yet again with all his strength but the result was the same.
They had used the sound-proof barrier after all.
"You-", and just when Alon was going to shout again, Jay stopped him.
"Wait, Alon…"
That was all he told and Alon shut his mouth almost immediately.
"Yes, your highness?", it was as if he bottled up all his anger almost instantly.
"They won't come out this way…", Jay said in a low voice.
He knew exactly what they did because of the system notification.
'Ding'
[ Sound-proof barrier has been activated 20 metres away from the host ]
[ Sound transmission via head is the old possible solution that the system can detect ]
Jay smiled after reading that probably because he had some other method too.
Although no sound could enter or leave the barrier, the demon-generals could surely leave it!
"Let me show you…"
"How to bring them out of their castles.", Jay seemed quite confident.
After seeing him, Alon thought that he would really be able to pull it off.
Of course, a few minutes ago he had seen him devour all the flame.
He recognized them as undying flames, demons were sensitive to fire after all.
But it didn't surprise him at all because all this time he believed that the one with him was none other than the Dark Overlord himself.
That was why, when such crazy things happened, he either thought that they were normal due to the Overlord's presence, or thought that he was the one who did it.
In fact, he had heard much more exaggerated kinds of stuff about the overlord due to which he was completely unfazed.
Though, his respect for him didn't change even when Jay mentioned that he had some issues with his memory.
In any case, a thing seemed quite peculiar, Jay wasn't scared even after arriving at the place where the demon generals were right in front of him.
More than that, he felt excited for some reason.
'Ding'
[ You have used the skill Intimidation ]
[ You have used the skill Ruler Of Darkness ]

[ You have used the skill Eyes Of Darkness ]
The skill of intimidation was the main skill that he wanted to use. It was as if he was provoking the demon generals to come and fight with him.
Of course, such low-level intimidation wouldn't work on them, at least, not until it gets mixed with some strong skills.
Yes, in order to enhance that skill, Jay used the Ruler of Darkness skill and the skill Eye of darkness.
The extra effects could be seen. The red glowing eyes were now covered with black aura making it look much more fierce.
More than that, the aura that he started to emit became wild.
It easily penetrated the barrier that had been erected to protect against the sounds and reached the generals.
'Ding'
[ The skill Dragon's Aura has been activated ]
Well, the skill Dragon's Aura was a passive skill in the sense that it would act on its own.
Jay had no control over it and didn't expect it to get activated.
However, fortunately, it got activated which further intensified the effects of a simple Intimidation skill.
'This…'
'Master…'
The pressure that Alon was feeling was immense. Jay hadn't directed the pressure in just one direction, it just spread everywhere.
Of course, that was because he had never used such skills to boost one skill.
Yes, due to that, another option got unlocked too which increased his strength further.
'Ding'
[ You have gained a new feature: Skill Fusion ]
[ -> The host will be able to fuse the skill with ease ]
The new feature was definitely good and for sure helped him in increasing the potency of the Intimidation.
'What the-'
'Did the pressure just increase?', Alon felt the sudden increase in pressure.
Of course, the pressure was not so high that Alon would get crushed in it.
Alon was strong, stronger than Jay. So his skills didn't necessarily put that much of a heavy weight on him.
While Alon thought that Jay was applying pressure with just his aura and how little he had applied, he was thinking if the demon generals would even come out.

Well, to his surprise, the pressure suddenly increased.
'Wait, does this mean that master can manipulate the amount of pressure that he wanted to apply?', Alon asked himself.
That was a cool thing for him because if Jay continued to increase the pressure, then the demon generals wouldn't even be able to stand in front of Jay.
Alon had mentioned earlier that he was a candidate for the position of the Demon General, however, he failed the test, to be precise, he left the test on his own.
That was because he didn't want meaningless violence.
That would just put him in much bigger trouble later and that was the only reason why he wasn't able to become a general.
He considered himself weak just because he was humble, but in reality, he was equally strong as other demon generals.
While he kept on saying that he was weak, his attitude had changed too.
That was why he never chose to fight with the demon generals because of which they would do whatever they liked – calling prick, or whatever.
Not that he wasn't angry, he just felt that he was weak when in reality he wasn't.
That was why, the pressure that Alon felt was equally felt by Borthod, Reina, and Davy.
"What is going on?"
"This presence…"
"This pressure…"
Both, Borthod and Reina, stared at Jay who was standing next to Alon.
'Weird, all of a sudden I don't feel any pressure…', was what Alon said to himself.
The answer was clear, Jay was able to successfully change the area of manipulation of the aura and pressure.
Since he had used it for the first time, even Alon was getting affected by it, but soon enough, within 5 minutes, the pressure was then only applied on the three demon generals.
'I guess even this much is not enough to make them come out of their hiding…', Jay murmured.
"Then how about this?"
'Ding'
[ You have activated the skill Gravity from the glove of Myrion ]
It seemed like he equipped the glove long before leaving.
Although the pressure due to intimidation was great, it could be classified as mental pressure.
The pressure due to gravity was physical. Due to that, the pain started to feel much more real.
This definitely made them feel that the pressure on them increased by at least tenfold!
Jay controlled the area of the acting of gravity too. He narrowed the attack only on the generals again due to which no harm was caused to Alon.
"What the heck?"
"The pressure increased further!?"
The generals couldn't take this anymore.
They had no choice other than to rush outside due to the next level of pressure.
In a flash, they appeared in front of Jay.
The pressure was still acting on them continuously. Although they could feel the pain, they showed as if it was nothing.
Their blood vessels would soon burst open if they were to be under the same pressure for longer.
"You damn human!"
"How dare you attack us!?", Borthod asked.
He was pissed off, both, because of the pressure and also due to the fact that he was forced to come out.
However, Jay was cool as hell. He didn't even say anything as if he was ignoring him.
'Tsk, I have no intention of responding to you…', was what he thought.
Well, it was a fact, after all, he didn't want to think about him for now that is.
Also, he could see that Borthod was a muscle head because he was being angered easily and faster than any other.
On the other hand, Reina, the only female general was also being pissed off. But she wasn't over-reacting like Borthod.
'I think I can deal with these two somehow…'
The ones who could be easily angered were easier to deal with – this was something Jay had learned in the books that Alon had given him to read earlier.
'But it will be quite hard to handle him…'
Yes, Jay was talking about Davy.
Even in such a situation, Davy was calm and collected.
It was as if he wasn't affected by any of this.
There was absolutely no change in his expression.
"…"
To be continued…

Disclaimer: This is not an instruction manual. If you want to be a horrible human being, go figure it out yourself. Autopsy: Writing this story gave me some degree of insight into how much I've managed to fuck up my own personality by suppressing basic needs. Now I hate myself even more. It started as a story where the MC was supposed to be a blend of the NZ-land shooter and other cancerous personalities. That way I wouldn't feel bad about torturing him. Instead I ended up witnessing all the worst aspects of my own personality, or lack thereof. I'm a horrid person, I can't even bring myself to do what's the only right thing at this point.
