The Abandoned Hunter Chapter 201

"Heaven Devourer."
With this last attack, everything came to an end. The Dark Overlord swallowed or to be precise, devoured everything in his darkness.
Gods? All were wiped out.
The only one who was alive now was Julius. Other than him, a handful of Gods survived who had come to warn Julius about the attack.'
Even before they could reach Earth, the attack was fired, only when the Dark Overlord used his skills, he found the Gods that were coming towards Julius.
The Dark Overlord has a skill that could let him see through one's personality. With that, he could even peek at their pasts, and thankfully the remaining Gods survived because of that skill.
Well, in conclusion, all the superpowers in God's Faction were destroyed. Now there was no place called Heaven.
The Overlords, Julius as well as the remaining Gods were completely surprised with that power.
The Dark Overlord shrank in size and returned to his normal form, then he descended to the Earth and landed as if nothing had happened in the first place.
"Dark…"
"We never knew that you were so powerful!", said the Overlord Of Time.
"…", the Dark Overlord didn't say anything and just nodded his head.
"Amazing, for immortality, we depend on our spiritual bodies…"
"That is not true immortality!"
"It looks like you are the one with the true immortality!", the Void Overlord said with a surprised expression.
It was as if he was impressed, more than that, he intended to bow in front of him and was about to do when suddenly the Dark Overlord started to walk away from the place.
Probably he realized what the Void Overlord was trying to do and went away only to save him some face.
It would take a century or more for the remaining ones to recover their powers. It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that the Dark Overlord was the strongest at the moment.

Hell? Although it was destroyed earlier by Julius, some parts were left where the demons and demi-humans could reside.
Yes, until Earth was restored, the Dark Overlord thought about going and staying there. Of course, that was not the only reason, he wanted to do that because he wanted to prevent the advance of demons who wanted to go and destroy Earth.
Since half of it was almost destroyed, it wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that the inhabitants of Hell could easily conquer Earth!
Unfortunately, the barrier which they faced was unbreakable – the Dark Overlord.
He then started his reign in Hell. After Earth was modified by the remaining Overlords whose powers started to return slowly, he returned.
Needless to say, Hell was now peaceful. Heaven was rebuilt and everything was fine there too.
Unfortunately, it only lasted for a few years. Just as the Dark Overlord vanished, all the wars and everything returned.
Demons from hell invaded and tried to destroy the earth but now that the humans had the powers to become hunters, they started hunting them.
With the help of dungeons, they got many items which only helped them to grow much stronger than earlier.
The Overlords were too tired so they went into a deep slumber. Before going, they announced that they will meet soon.
They will come back to Earth with their full power with the help of their apostles or chosen ones!
That was different for the Dark Overlord. The rumor, or to be precise the fact had been spread that the Dark Overlord was indeed immortal.
Also, seeing that he retained his powers, it seemed like he didn't require any sleep to regain the power. So everyone knew for sure that the next time the Dark Overlord's powers became visible, it would mean that the Dark Overlord would have returned!

Many people waited for that day to come, unfortunately, while waiting for that time unlimited wars broke. Modernization of weapons and many other things took place and the families that had direct contact with the Overlords went almost extinct.
"Hell was also in turmoil after that…", Alon said in a low and sad voice.
Jay realized what he said and understood each and everything.
Indeed, his curiosity was somewhat satisfied and now he finally knew the reason why everyone was referring to him as the Dark Overlord.
'This is way too weird…'
'At the start, I got powers from Akaluman…'
'He said to fight for him, what's with this twist?'
Jay failed to understand what exactly had happened. There must have been some reason because of which he was chosen.
Why was he given a system? Why was he the holder of the Dark Overlord's powers?
Why was Akaluman present there that day?
And what were those visions that he had before entering the dungeon?
Yes, those were some questions that Jay was asking himself too. Though the answers seemed unclear at the moment, those were some key moments that led to the current Jay!
'Ding'
[ Congratulation ]
[ You have completed the mission ]
[ Mission MOD - Knowing About Oneself ]
[ -> Gain the knowledge about the Dark Overlord from the Demon Alon ] [ completed ]
[ -> Ask the demon Alon in front of you to tell about the Overlords ] [ completed ]
The notification popped up about the completion of the mission, but Jay was the least bit interested in that.
More than that, he was thinking about what he heard a few seconds ago.
'The Dark Overlord…'
'He was so powerful…'
Jay was amazed by the story and every description that Alon made. Needless to say, he was somewhat thrilled to reach that level of power, however, he still had many doubts!
*gulp*
Yes, he was stunned after hearing that. He thought that his levels were high enough and due to that he was super strong, but after hearing how strong the Overlords were, he classified himself as an ant in front of them.
When he was thinking about these things, a doubt spawned in his head suddenly.
"How do you know all this?", he asked.
"…"
To be continued…

Dungeons Are Bad Business
Vee Vales has been kicked out of his home and directed to make his own way in the world. Along with his friend Alforde Armorsoul, Vee travels to the city of Oar's Crest. Once a prosperous and well-to-do city, Oar's Crest has fallen into depression and disrepair. After finding a strange stone that takes up residence in a tattered top hat and introduces itself as Reginald, Vee and Alforde decide to open a dungeon in Oar's Crest to revitalize the city and, more importantly, make some fleurs. [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Author's Note: Dungeons are Bad Business (DABB) is a slow burn slice-of-life dungeon core litRPG citybuilder that's focused on the day to day experience of running a dungeon. There will be some action, but it won't be the focus of the story and Vee and his friends will usually overcome their problems with their minds and their pocketbooks instead of their weapons. Since I'm participating in the writeathon, I will probably be uploading chapters almost daily for the duration of the event. Thanks for reading!

How to have fun in an apocalypse (Rewrite)
After spending an unsavory amount of time in hell, our protagonist finally manages to escape the place that had kept him captive for so long... again. Unfortunately, even after plotting and planning for years, he ends up in a place not much different from the burning and agonizing Tartarus he once had to call home. Guts, blood, and carnage start to reign over Earth as soon as he set foot in it, much to his dismay. What use is it to cry over spilled milk, though? Tired of the monotony of endless torture, he steps into the world intending to have as much fun as possible. While others might try to raid the Orc Lord with as many people as possible, why not challenge him to an arm-wrestling tournament? The power of friendship will surely be on his side. Why hide from the big, bad wolf in one of your houses if wearing camo in plain sight should have the same effect? Now, making friends and going on adventures would be perfectly fine, if it wasn't for the fact that he hides a few more secrets than one might think at first. This is a complete rewrite! Due to being unsatisfied with the previous version, I have decided to work the story up, beginning from the older chapters! Version 2.0 includes: - enhanced writing and editorial skills - additional information and aspects to characters - minor deviation from storyline and improvements

Join him on his adventures as he must deal with menus, monsters, and mysteries in this litrpg fantasy. Thomas Goodwill was an average boy with an average life, all that changed when he woke up in a new reality. Now, out of his depth, damn near out of his mind, he must learn to survive in a game-like reality with no reloads, checkpoints, or save scumming. He does, however, have a drunk snake. Thank you for reading my first story, hopefully, the first of many to come. This will be my main story and is meant to help me practice and hone my skills as I slowly produce more complex ideas. It's a litrpg in which I want to only lightly focus on the mechanics as I don’t want to pad out the word count with math and number tables and while I want to add a few of my own twists here and there, overall I’m going to keep this story close to generic as possible so that I don't let my inexperience lead me into a corner. Thanks again to all willing to leave a review or some constructive criticism, without you I'd never improve. Unfortunately, Cover art is by me.
