An increase in stats should make him stronger and should have given him a great feeling, but right now the opposite was happening.

"What the-"

His stats were low as hell when compared to the altered profile.

He recalled what Jake had said, his stats would return back to normal after he was to finish making the Blood Essence.

It was probably depending on the mission, once the mission got completed, the stats returned to normal.

Well, he was sad for a moment because he could no longer feel that abnormal yet awesome power.

In any case, he smiled and was a bit happy because his stats had increased if he were to compare his earlier original stats!

It was probably because of those tons of Exp that he harvested while hunting all those SS rank and SSS rank monsters.

In any case, he had definitely gotten stronger from his original self.

'If I go like this, I would soon gain the same power which I felt a while ago...', was what he said to himself.

In any case, he took a look at the rewards that he received.

The rewards weren't bad at all, however, Jay didn't even bat an eye at them.

All he did was take a look at the key which was titled 'Key Of nether world'.

"Nether world?"

"You mean the real Nether World?", Jay asked himself.

He asked this a bit loudly which Sebas and Katherine heard.

Their eyes widened the moment they heard this, in fact, they were so surprised that they stepped a few steps back all of a sudden.

"Huh?"

"What happened?" Jay asked because such a bizarre back step wouldn't have gone unnoticed.

"Nothing Master...", was what they said while swallowing a large amount of dry saliva.

It was as if they were scared of something, or rather they were scared of the Nether World stuff that Jay said.

Jay noticed this, he understood why they were surprised but knew not the exact reason.

Did they live in Nether World earlier? Or were they scared of someone else who lived in the Nether World?

These were some interesting questions that Jay wanted to ask, however right now he didn't have time to do so.

The reason was simple, another mission popped up right after he received the reward.

Now it was something serious that Jay was viewing at.

The Nether World was something that he would have never imagined at all.

Of course, he did expect to get some abnormal key, but he never expected to get a mission along with it.

It was as if the system was also asking him to complete the mission by helping the ones who were calling out to him earlier!

'What's with this mission?'

'I need to protect the Netherlanders?'

'From some Demon Lord?'

The mission seemed super difficult but unfortunately, its rank wasn't mentioned like other missions.

*gulp*

'And what the heck is with this becoming the King of the nether world?'

The more he took a look at the mission, the more it confused him, but in the end, the choice to accept the mission was on him.

"..."

Since there was no penalty on failure, it would be wise for him to accept the mission, however, there was something that was bugging him.

'How is the system providing m benefits without any risks?', was what he asked himself.

It was quite suspicious, also, the time limit was being shown in the mission.

Unless and otherwise, something was going to happen after the timer ran out, the system wouldn't provide the time limit.

That's what he thought, but then again, he doubted himself too.

'Am I just thinking too much?'

"..."

In any case, it was the truth that the mission had something to do with the call for help that he had received earlier.

Also, Jake too said that the key had to be used in order to help the ones in need, so he thought that it was better to accept the mission since he had nothing to lose.

"Accept...", he said in a low voice right after which the timer started to run.

He then turned his gazes towards Sebas and said, "I will be going for some days to the Nether World..."

"What!?", Sebas and Katherin raised their voice as if they were surprised.

They were anxious because of this. They were worried, probably because they were aware of the situation in the Nether Realm. Well, many of their kinds came from the Nether Realm after all!

Jay didn't even care about them and then almost immediately used the key.

Of course, the description of its usage had come with it.

[ Use the key while imagining the opening of a door ]

He did as he was instructed and all of a sudden a huge gate appeared.

Of course, it didn't destroy the ceiling because it was not that tall either!

Jay then entered the gate while waving his hand and then vanished just like the gate did!

"Do you think master will be alright...?", Katherine asked.

"I'm not sure..."

"Master is strong for sure, he was able to defeat an SSS rank monster and was able to bring the blood sand..."

"However I'm not sure if he will be able to defeat him?" while saying this, Sebas lowered his head.

They were actually worried about Jay and it was genuine. They weren't acting, they really cared for him probably because they looked upon him like a king!

In any case, Jay had already entered the gate and was soon going to appear in the Nether Realm. While on contrast to what he did, another gate appeared in the human world probably by someone else.

It was as if someone was given a similar mission, however, instead of the Nether Realm, it was the human world!

And that was how Earth's doom began!
