A huge explosion occurred which caused many trees from the surrounding to blow away.

Many other trees caught fire almost immediately due to the explosion.

Jay was surprised by this sudden explosion, needless to say, Jake was unfazed. It was as if he was expecting something similar to happen!

Though he was able to dodge the attack successfully thanks to the skill Stealth, he was still shocked because of the large explosion which destroyed at least 100 meters in his surrounding in an instant.

"What the heck was that?", he undid the skill and turned his head here and there only to find a huge Gorilla stand a hundred meters away from him.

The Gorilla had red skin and was at least twice the size of a normal adult Gorila like monsters seen in dungeons which are three times the size of the humans.

That means the Gorilla in front of him was six times his own height!

"You expect me to fight that?", Jay asked while being flustered.

"..."

Jake didn't answer, it seemed as if he was taking a nap or had stopped talking to him.

In fact, he couldn't;t have been hearing ay because he was inside a barrier probably because he was trying to dodge the attack of the monster.

"Just what the heck is that?", Jay asked himself.

Jay was shocked completely after looking at the beast's stats.

All the stats other than Intelligence and Speed were higher than his own, even after the alteration.

Especially the defense stat was as high as '2160', which was almost double that of Jay.

Maybe Jay did have an advantage in terms of HP and MP but he couldn't possible ignore the bizarre stats. Needless to say, it was definitely less when compared to Jake therefore he had nothing to worry about.

'I know that he won't let me die...'

'I'm sure that he would rescue me so I guess I have no reason to fight...'

That was a half-ass reason to stop fighting or not even try!

"Don't chicken out..."

"Huh?", until now Jake was quiet as if he hadn't heard anything but then all of a sudden he said this.

Of course, it was like a piece of advice that Jay would most definitely not ignore.
