"Master, His Highness Sebastian would like to meet you...", was what Katherine said after walking up to him.

"Sebas?", now that was confusing.

He had left just a moment ago so it was weird that he was already back.

"Okay, I allow him to meet me...", was what Jay said but Katherine meant something else entirely.

"Master, I guess you failed to understand what I meant...", was what she said right after that.

"Huh?", indeed, he misunderstood.

"His Highness Sebastian wants to meet you near the Blood Lake, outside of the dungeon..."

"He requested for you to arrive as soon as possible.", she said while bowing in front of him.

"Blood Lake?", now that was the cool name of a lake.

It was as if the name itself explained what the lake was about, of course, instead of water, blood would be filled inside.

Regardless, it seemed like Katherine was serious and wanted Jay to depart almost immediately, but something seemed fishy.

If it was that urgent, then Sebas could contact Jay directly through telecommunication, but he didn't.

It's not as if he suspected Katherine, but the doubt spawned automatically when he thought about it.

"Couldn't he have asked me directly?", Jay asked.

Yes, the one who laughed was none other than Jake with whom Jay had been talking a while earlier.

'I couldn't even sense him...'

'Damn, just how powerless am I?', Jay asked himself.

He then looked at Sebas and then looked back at Jake and asked, "So messing up with a friend of mine is fun to you?"

Sebas was beaten up badly. Of course, he was standing on both of his feet, but he was beaten up so badly that even his fangs were broken.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't know that they were your friends!", he said with a loud noise as if he was really apologetic.

"Sigh...", Jay decided to let it go perhaps because he could do nothing because he was quite weak when compared to Jake.

'Let's take a peek at his stats again...', Jay thought and asked the system to display it.
