The Abandoned Hunter Chapter 184

"So tell me, what is this blood essence?", Jay asked.
He could no longer wait to hear the answer and widened his ear as if this was the last time he would ever be able to hear something.
"Master..."
"Blood Essence is a potion of blood that enhances the evolution of a species...", was what Sebas said.
"Huh?", now this was quite confusing to Jay.
Well, Jay was thinking about using the system to know about the blood essence, however, the mission mentioned that he had to specifically ask a vampire.
Of course, he wasn't aware if the system knew about it in the first place.
Regardless, he only sought in completing the mission so he asked Sebas, but now he was only getting confused.
"Can you tell it in simple words?", Jay asked.
Now Sebas was confused because he had said in the simplest words possible. He started to think of much easier terms to use and explain about it.
"Master..."
"It is like a drink made up of blood."
When Sebas said that, it was like a horror movie.
"What the-", Jay imagined a horror show which he had seen when he was young, not that he was scared of it now.
"What is the use of blood essence?", he asked.
"It helps in evolution...", Sebas replied almost immediately as if he was expected Jay to ask that.
"Evolution?", now that was interesting.
A blood essence could helo in evolution, that was a new thing for him to learn about.
Of course, he was interested in that because he mentioned 'Evolution'which meant that the species could actually get stronger.
He could recall Jake's words about getting stronger, thus he thought about drinking it to get stronger after evolving!
"Nice!", he said loudly with a smile.
Sebas was staring at Jay after hearing him say that which was quite awkward, of course, silence covered them for a moment.
"Ahem, so it's made up of whose blood?", Jay asked.
Of course, it would require some specific ingredient, not that one could use any type of blood from anyone.
"Master, you can use any blood you want...", was what Sebas said which was quite contrasting to what he was thinking.

"Huh?"
"Any being's blood?", Jay asked.
"Yes, master.", he replied humbly with a little bow and close of eyes.
'Interesting...'
'He doesn't seem to be lying...'
"..."
'So basically I can use anyone's blood to create the essence?', he was happy about that.
The reason for that was simple, many monsters and beasts were lying in front of him, of course, they were dead but their bodies still had blood for sure.
He could extract a large amount of blood if required from them. No one would stop him from doing that.
"Ah, so tell me, how much blood is required?", he was curious about that now.
Of course, the number of monsters present in the dungeon after the hunt was limited too. He couldn't get infinite monsters could he now.
So there was a possibility that the required blood could exceed even his imagination, precisely because of that he asked him.
Indeed, after hearing what he said, he realized that it was something he couldn't imagine.
"Only one drop of blood would be required master.", was what Sebas said.
"What the-", now that was another surprise.
Whatever he thought, the exact opposite was happening. As interesting it may be, it was quite frustrating too.
Oh well, this was nothing if he would be able to create the essence.
Of course, there was a problem, although the essence was made up of blood, he had no idea if it required some other ingredients.
"So, is blood the only thing needed to make it?", he asked.
"No master, there are a few more things that would be required to create a bottle of blood essence...", he said in a low yet audible voice.
"Alright, tell me, what are the materials required?", he asked.
But instead of replying to that, Sebas ended up asking a question instead.
"Pardon me master, but are you thinking of making a blood essence?", he asked.
"Ya...", he replied with haste and then moved back to asking questions again.
"Come on, tell me, what are the materials required to prepare a bottle of blood essence?"
"Umm, master, if I may, I will get all the materials for you personally..."

"Please rest, I don't want you to get hurt...", Sebas said after staring at Jay's eyes for a moment.
He basically dodged the question yet again, oh well, not that Jay minded since the materials would be gathered by Sebas.
'Hurt? Rest?', those words did surprise him, but he didn't mind it after all Sebas was his servant so he could do his work in his stead too!
"Alright then...", he nodded his head while agreeing to his request.
For a moment Sebas looked anxious but Jay had no idea why, whatever, all he had to do now was rest there.
But he did remind Sebas to bring the materials as soon as possible.
"I need them within an hour, is that possible?", he asked.
The last part was totally unnecessary, he would;t be asking, instead, he should be bossy. That's what masters do. Well, whatever, all he wanted were the materials.
"Within an hour?", he was surprised when he heard that.
It was evident from seeing his eyes widen. But in the end, he agreed to it right away and left the dungeon right after that.
'Nice, now I would be able to get the materials within an hour and I would be able to prepare the blood essence quite soon!', he smiled and sat on the stone that was specifically carved for him.
'I wonder if mom and Sera would be alright...', he was thinking about them while resting and recovering his MP.
'I guess they might be sleeping by now...', well, it was nighttime already.
They didn't care where Jay was, probably because they thought that he was somewhere safe.
Well, the real reason was Jake, he had contacted them and told them about this. He was considerate, wasn't he? Or perhaps this was because he respected Jay?
"Hmm..."
He was looking at all the vampires working hard while taking a look at the blood and checking the bodies. They were separating some of the bodies and the rest were put to the other side.
"Till Sebas returns, I should take a look at the skills...", was what he said.
"Huh?", but then the first thing that he saw after staring at the system was the mission which he had to finish.
[ Mission XGCD01: Blood Moon ]
[ -> Gain the knowledge about the blood essence from Vampires ] [ completed ]
[ -> Create Blood Essence [ 0/1 ] ]
[ Appropriate rewards will be given on the completion of the mission ]
[ Failure would lead to a decrease in all stats by 30 ]
He smiled after looking at the 'completed' part. That was quite obvious since he had indeed learned about the blood essence from Sebas, of course, the knowledge was quite little, it was still knowledge!
'Hmm, I'll take a look at this later...'
'Let me look at the skills...', he was pretty interested in the separated section that was visible after he opened his profile.
-> [ Advanced Unique skills ]
1] Soul Possession Lv.???
2] Soul Extraction Lv.???
3] Ruler Of Darkness Lv.??? [ Passive ]
"Hmm..."
'I have these three skills that have been separated from others...'
'I wonder why...'
'What are they anyway?', he took a look at their descriptions which he hadn't looked at earlier.
[ Soul Possession ]
- Unique skill of the Dark Overlord.
- The Soul Of any Beast/Human/monster/living being can be extracted and can be put inside any other thing.
- The new body would materialize as that of old slowly based on the compatibility.
"Ah, this I had already seen..."
"And this also looks familiar..."
[ Soul Extraction ]
- Souls will be extracted from the target
- Souls extracted will vanish in respective time-limited based on their ranks unless a body is provided.
- Souls can't be detached from the body with which they had fused over 60% compatibility.
- Chances Of extraction decreases with an increase in bonding/compatibility.
"Hmm, I've seen this too..."
The skills were indeed top tier, needless to say, all of them were probably made for him.
They seemed to be super cool and it as if he was destined to get them. Although, he hadn't put them to great use yet.
"So this last one is..."
[ Ruler Of Darkness ]
"..."
To be continued...

Fallout: Vault X
An original novel set in the Fallout universe, written to be accessible to all, featuring unique people and places. Vol.II. out now Fallout: Vault X tells the story of John. A vault dweller, who spent every day of his twenty five years underground. Like his father, and his father before him. Proud to live in the last remaining bastion of humanity, all that survived The Great War of the atomic age. Hidden deep below the surface of the earth, toiling under brutal conditions. Year after year, decade upon decade. All to expand into the natural cave system the Vault occupied, building for the future. However, John knew what his forefathers did not, that everything he’d been taught was a lie. After finishing school at the age of ten, John received his standard issue pipboy. An arm mounted personal computer, worn by everyone in the Vault. Used to coordinate the relentless pace of expansion, needed to work as an apprentice. To learn the craft that would be his life’s work. A noble calling to ensure a future for all that remained of the human race. A quirk of fate saw John equipped not with the crude, clunky, pipboy model his father wore. That almost everyone around him wore. His looked smaller, sleeker, finished in a jet black sheen. And capable of doing far more than its drab counterparts. The world above had been ravaged by atomic flames, yet life clung to its bones. The Red Valley fared better than most in the century since the bombs fell. The clean water and rich soil protected by rolling hills. All spared from direct strikes, for the most part. Life survived here. Trees spawned from charred ground, misshapen, green leaves turned red. Along with simple crops, grown wild at first, then cultivated by the survivors. The scavengers of the old world were inventive, hardy people. All determined to rebuild in the ruins of a world they never knew. In the decades that passed settlements emerged. They grew, spreading along the valley floor. Reclaiming the pre-war remnants of the once industrialised heartland. Salvaging the robotic wonders of a bygone age to build their walls and work their fields. To protect them in the dark of the wasteland. But such things are uncommon in this world, and the rarer something is, the greater its value. And the worth of pre-war technology had not gone unnoticed. The last, real, power in this world rested in the mechanised hands of The Brotherhood of Steel. Forged from the mortally wounded old world military. The Brotherhood used its access to the weapons made for a conflict no one won to strike out into the wastes. Men and women were equipped with advanced armour, aerial transportation, high grade weaponry. Accompanied by the training, strength, and will, to put them to use. They established chapters and set up outputs far and wide. All dedicated to a single purpose. To ensure the technology left abandoned by its long dead creators didn’t fall into the wrong hands. Namely, any hands that were not their own. This is the world John escaped into. A place of horrors brought forth from atomic fire. A place where survival meant battling against the darkness. Fighting a war each day to get to the next. And war...war never changes

Cinder Souls II
Dark Souls is known as one of the hardest game series to have ever existed and with the third installment of Dark Souls, being Dark Souls 3, the makers of the game decided to not make another. With the licensing of the game being put into limbo, a game company called Virtual World decided to buy the right to make another game in the series, this game was called Cinder Souls. Something was different about this game compared to the rest of the series and that was it is on the World Gear, a device that put your consciousness inside of the game and gave you complete control of your character's body. This game exploded and sold over 5 million copies in the first week since it had something other games didn't. Freedom. You could do 18+ actions, take over kingdoms, destroy guild bases entirely, and even rob NPCs. Of course there are laws in certain areas that prohibited certain actions but that all depended on what guild was in control of the land you are at. There are 4 continents with there being several countries dividing each continent into different sections and each having their own difficulties. The strongest continent of them all is Land of the Gods, which only the most legendary of players can enter and become apart of. It is a small island which only has 10 inhabitants but these 10 people could easily take over any other continent on the planet but decide to lay dormant on the island, waiting for something strong to spice up the game. Each of these 10 players is considered a God in the game and even have their own following base. Each God had major influence over the millions of other players in the game but that was all in the past. Now it is time for an update, a completely new world with new enemies and new beginnings for all and that update is coming soon. Its supposed to arrive in one day in fact. This update would have new quests and new adventures and the game title will be changed to Cinder Souls II, whether you kept your character or not is unknown but what was known was that the real world was excited for this. Since it was an update, you didn't have to repurchase the game so old players began to dust off their old copies and prepare for the copious amounts of fun in store for them. This story follows one of the best players to have ever graced the game, Frew, the God of Miracles, and his new adventures but it is not as expected. Not one of the 14 million players could expect what would be coming up next in Cinder Souls II nor would anyone be prepared for it. *****WARNING, IF YOU ARE HERE FOR THE VIRTUAL REALITY ASPECT IT IS NEXT TO NONE EXISTANT EXCEPT FOR CHAPTERS IN THE FAR FUTURE***** For the original cover picture, check out this link! ----> https://www.pinterest.com/pin/420875527667199123
