Jay then exited the Portal and appeared right in front of all of them once again.

Though, that didn't mean that they were waiting for him to come back.

They had already started to attack Res who was now completely surrounded by them.

But despite that, he was able to easily fend off their attacks as if it was nothing.

More than that, it seemed like all the sorcerers were slowly getting tired by the continuous usage of energy and mana thanks to which the battle was now going to be quite smooth since Jay had already arrived yet again.

The moment Jay entered the place, a sudden wave of killing intent was discharged by him which attracted most of the sorcerer's attention.

"Huh? He is back!?"

They were surprised to see him return because they thought that he had actually ran away from the battle by leaving Res alone.

Though, they wouldn't have let him be and we're going to attack him since they knew the whereabouts of the city in which he lived.

'Tap Tap Tap'

Jay just kept walking slowly and steadily towards them as if he wasn't afraid of death or something which was kind of true.

He still had a life point due to which he wasn't fearing anything right now.

Moreover, he couldn't possibly let Res handle them on his own because it would be too much of a task for him.

Furthermore, he has a grudge on them since they had made Sera suffer due to which he wanted to give them a goood reward.

"Well well... get ready guys... because here I come..."

All of sudden he vanished from the place and appeared right in front of one of them in a blink of an eye.

The person had bluish hair and seemed to be the Sorcerer Of water or ice.

'Esculum Icum!'

He changed a spell thanks to which a wall of ice formed all of a sudden right in front of him which was strong enough to even block a missile.

Unfortunately, Jay's Attacks couldn't be compared with a missile because when he starts to get serious or when he attacks with all his concentration at one place, the explosiveness Of his attacks would have the effect similar to an Atom Bomb!

'BOOM'

The entire wall of ice shattered and fell apart in a instant when just a single punch landed on it.

Although there was bit of blood flowing out his his right wrist which probably happened due to the punching a hard thing like ice, he turned a blind eye to it.

"W-what the heck!?"

The person was completely shocked to see that happen because he never expected him to be so strong.

In the first place, he had no idea about the so called Dark Overlord which was the same with others too.

It was probably the first time they had heard something called as Dark Overlord, but they knew that it was a title given to some powerful being.

Since Jeff, Fren and another one or two were quite old members with lot of memories of the past, they knew the Dark Overlord's power quite well.

Because of that very reason, the fear in them was extreme.

Though, that was not something that could be seen in these new sorcerers who were probably promoted or made Sorcerer just a while ago.

"Sigh... what a blunder..."

Jay slowly turned his gazes towards his right fist right after which a dim green light flashed on it.

In a second or two, the wound was collleteky healed right after which he glared at then once again.

"You guys are sorcerers?", he said in a rather sarcastic way because the power and energy that they were emitting was far too weak.

Also, Jeff had a much higher or stronger aura around him when compared to them.

So he felt it to be quite weird and for a instance thought that they weren't the sorcerers.

And it seemed like his thinking was indeed true but only partially.

They were by no doubt sorcerers since they did have such powers, but they were low tier, apprentice sorcerers!

The actual sorcerers were just watching from far away place about which no one knew about.

Furthermore, the one whom Res was facing was a Sorcerer too, and that too the real one and probably that was why he was too strong.

But he wasn't the master of the actual gang of sorcerers.

He was actually leading the new fresh team who had become sorcerers just a while ago.

It was probably because they were testing Jay since they found him defeating Jeff who was a strong Sorcerer among them.

They wanted to check his powers of what he was capable of and what and all he could do so that they could react in a suitable manner.

They weren't some fools who would just step forward without any plans.

Without a doubt they were quite cunning and because of that they thought of investigating Jay before they could take him down because the moment they heard the news about him being the Dark Overlord, their excitement couldn't be settled.

No matter what happened they wanted to see how powerful he was and perhaps that was why they kidnapped Sera so that he would end up coming here.

All of a sudden there was a huge blast which caused all the sorcerers yo get hurt.

The attack was strong enough to even paralyse some of them but more than that, its destructive power was so strong that most of the sorcerers were pushed back by at least 10 meters when they were hit by that.

Right after that he appeared in front of the same blue haired Sorcerer and punched him with all his might.

'Bam'

His strength was so much that the sorcerers ended up getting smashed into a tree which was quite far away from the place.

The other Sorcerer were shocked to see that and were about to attack him when suddenly they found themselves to be flying in air too.

It seemed as if Jay had used the Teleport skill and punched all of their faces simultaneously!

'Too weird... were the sorcerers supposed to be so weak?', Jay wondered.

His instincts were also warning him of something but no matter how hard he thought, he wasn't able to figure out what actually happened.

Then he thought that it was best to finish of the ones who were right in front of him while he had the chance because of which he used the skill once again on them.

'Lightning Strike...'

He used the same skill multiple times on different sorcerers that were in front of him and in a matter of second all of them were rendered unconscious.

Even the sorcere who was able to sneak behind him had turned to dusts.

Without a doubt the power of the skill was too high because of which such mediocre magicians who were supposed to be sorcerers couldn't handle.

Jay confirmed that his job here was over and thus right away he turned his gazes towards his right to see how the battle between Res and the last remaining Sorcerer according to him was going.

'Bam'

He could hear a lot of noises and could also see many flashes that were probably due to the explosion of the attacks.

Since they weren't exactly nearby him and had already moved to other place which was a bit far away from where he was standing and was a big invisible, he failed to notice what and how the Attacks were generating such a shock waves.

Nevertheless, he decided to go and take a look so that he could helo at the time of need.

He rushed almost instantly to the area while using the skill Accel and within a time of 10 seconds reached the place.

'Boom'

Just as he had reached the area to see the fight, suddenly he felt someone flying right past him.

He turned his gazes immediately only to find the person being slammed into the tree which was nearby.

The person had literally crashed into the tree and was probably bleeding too, but since it was already night time and due to the absence of moon, nothing was much clearly visible.

'Ding'

He used the skill night vision so that he could see what happened when suddenly he ended up being shocked to find Res standing up slowly near the tree.

He finally understood that it was Res who was slammed into the tree.

"Res sir... are you alright?", he asked when he found that he was completely covered with blood.

Though, there was no response from his side probably because he was far away from him and was too deeply immersed in the battle.
