The aura was so thick and vast that immediately after Jay had turned towards that, he was forced to take a step back.

The aura was definitely familiar to him, but the only thing that was weird was the vastness of the aura.

He could feel a slight killing intent that was being emitted from the aura but at the same time it felt as if the aura belonged to him.

"Wha-"

All of a sudden, dark mist surrounded the area and nothing was able to be seen.

At least the mist was a bit far away from Jay, or else he would have thought of it as an attack and would have done something foolish.

Though, the black mist spread throughout the area, except the part where Jay and Akaluman was present.

Even at the place where Wolfy, Sebas and Katherine were present, was left untouched.

Jay wanted to almost immediately know the person or the ones that were hiding behind the mist and wanted to use the skill Night vision when all of a sudden, he heard some noises that resembled footsteps.

The sounds were growing louder and it felt as if someone was walking towards him.

He wanted to take out some weapon to be prepared but Akaluman stopped him by saying, "They have arrived..."

Jay was startled when he heard Akaluman say that and thought that some friend or ally might have arrived to aid him and was prepared to be startled yet again on seeing them, but little did he know that the moment he would find out the ones who came, he would end up being shocked.

The Black mist slowly dissipated and after that, around 9 people were clearly visible.

"No... no way... this can't be..."

He was completely shocked, in fact he could hardly believe at what he was looking at.

He failed to relate that to reality because that was too much of a stupid thing that he was looking at.

"Are you kidding me? They are...", Jay turned towards Akaluman while asking that.

His eyes were widened and he failed to accept what was happening as in front of him, he could see 9 humans kneeling.

He could easily identify them as the hunters who were saved by him in the Sky Dungeon and that was not the part that shocked him.

What actually shocked him was when he took a notice that their Auras were quite different yet again as if they had been completely losses by something.

He knew very well what the things that possessed them were, but that wasn't what he was thinking about right now.

"You really are telling me to take them with me!?", Jay asked with a loud voice to Akaluman.

Akaluman just nodded his head as if this was some simple matter while Jay thought that it was quite serious.

"No... how can I just... how can I just take them and...", he already had the mentality as how weak they were so he could hardly allow them to die for him.

He thought that they were quite weak and because of that they would die too easily.

Moreover, he would fail to extract their souls too since he couldn't extract Jeff's soul either.

Moreover he wouldn't be able to raise anyone from death as he had only 1 Life Point left now.

It was said that if he had accumulated 100 Life points, he himself would be able to be alive yet again, but it cost him only 1 Life point to rise up earlier.

"Listen... I can't take them...", Jay made himself clear that no matter what happened he wouldn't take the 12 hunters that had just arrived out of nowhere.

Akaluman sighed and then said, "Can you tell me the reason because of which you don't want to take them?"

Jay paused the moment he heard Akaluman's question.

He didn't have any intentions of answering it since he had already decided but then again since it was Akaluman who was asking, he answered but rather in an awkward way.

"You are asking as if you don't know...", he said.

"Oh? Do I know?", Akaluman asked again.

"Yes, you indeed know..."

"Then would you be kind enough to tell me the reason which you think I know?", Akaluman asked.

Jay was annoyed when he heard Akaluman rephrasing it in such a way and asking the same thing again.

He said, "It's because they are fragile!"

The moment Akaluman heard that, he understood what Jay was trying to say.

Earlier, Akaluman had said the same thing to Jay before giving him powers and probably that was what Jay repeating right now.

But it sounded quite funny to Akaluman and he ended up laughing after hearing that.

"Hahaha! Hahaha!"

"Huh?", Jay was in no mood to support the laughter as he was in serious trouble.

So seeing Akaluman laugh, he was even more frustrated.

He thought that Akaluman was just playing with him.

Although he couldn't actually blame Akaluman because he couldn't possibly understand the mentality of a dragon, he just asked, "What's so funny?"

But for now Akaluman didn't cease to laugh and continued his laughter.

Jay waited patiently in a sarcastic way until his laughter was ceased after which he asked yet again, "Now will you tell me, why were you laughing?"

"Haha, I was laughing after hearing what you said!", Akaluman said by somehow controlling his laughter.

"Huh? Did I crack some joke!?", Jay raised his voice a bit and asked.

"Of course, if this wasn't a joke then what else would be called as a joke?", Akaluman asked.

"Ha!?", Jay was getting confused even more and more when finally Akaluman thought about clearing everything.

"You just called them fragile... that was what I was laughing on..."

Jay turned his head towards them and took a look.

He then turned his gazes back towards the dragon and asked, "Ya? What was wrong in my saying?"

"Well, if they were humans then ya, they would be fragile, but who said that they are humans?"

The moment Jay heard that, he was awed and baffled.

He immediately turned towards them and took a look carefully only to find everything like that of a human.

"They... aren't they humans?", he asked.

"Haha, why don't you ask them to raise their heads!?", Akaluman smiled and said that.

Jay thought that Akaluman was just making up something but nevertheless he did what he was asked to do.

"Raise you heads...", his voice was deep and was quite the contrast to the voice that he was using to speak with Akaluman.

All of a sudden, everyone of them raised their heads the moment they heard Jay say that.

"Huh...?", Jay paused.

He was completely astonished the moment he looked at them.

He said in a low voice, "Their... their eyes...."

Akaluman heard this and laughed yet again and then said, "Yes, now do you understand who they are?"

"..."

"Yes... they aren't the humans that I knew... they are..."

"..."

He failed to say anything further but Akaluman didn't like the way he paused.

So instead of Jay he said, "Yes! Without a doubt, they are your 9 generals!!!"

The moment Sebas and Katherine heard this, they almost immediately bowed to them too.

Sebas and Katherine were quite loyal to the Dark Overlord and without a doubt we're his servants, but that didn't mean that even the lowest rank, who was a subordinate, wouldn't bow in front of the higher ranks.

Jay, who was now considered as the Dark Overlord, was at the top of the hierarchy.

So just next to him there was an unknown rank, which was kept secret for now but right under that were the total of 12 generals.

Without a doubt they were quite strong and could easily match anyone with strength and in the entire history. They were always remembered.

Sebas and Katherine were ranked low when compared to them and thus they ended up bowing to them.

"Now I understand what you meant Akaluman... they are... they are possessed by the souls right now..."

"So that inevitably means that... their powers and ranks are..."

He couldn't say anything ahead and just took a look at their stats through the system.
