==========
Jay was shocked after reading the texts but soon as he finished reading, the timer had already started.
He had only 5 hours to do what was told but the problem was that he wasn't aware of the location of the Sky Dungeon.
'The heck! I have come here to save Mia and this fucking system wants me to do something else?'
He was a bit angry when he thought about it as saving a friend was much more important than completing the mission.
Also, it didn't mention that on dailing the mission the penalty will be death because of which he wasn't worried much. But that didn't mean that he could neglect it.
'What should I do...? Complete the mission or... Mia?'
He had absolutely no intentions of completing the mission right now but he was wary at the same time.
It stated that the punishment would depend on the failure of mission so there could have been a possibility of death too.
He was hesitant to leave either one of them and he wasn't able to figure out what to choose.
'The gate is right in front of me and I am not aware of where the so called Sky dungeon is... it would be wise to enter the gate but...'
His decision making capacity seemed to be too less since in every step he was having a doubt.
'Damn... what a situation am I stuck in...', while thinking all these his time was being wasted.
It was indeed hard to decide but little did he know that both the places were one and the same. What he wanted to do would be gained from the system and probably the system knew that.
It was just that it was checking Jay's decision making capacity which it wanted to record and that was why it didn't say about entering the gate.
"..."
'What do I do...?', he lowered his gazes and had a dark complexion while deciding. His Stealth was active all along too.
"..."
MEANWHILE...
"Run! Just jump off the dungeon!!!", shouted the vice leader of the raid team.
He wasn't necessarily an actual high ranking leader, it was just a name given in the group.
In actual, the highest ranking leader or the person who was the strongest of all was called Captain or Leader of the group. However the one who was the best and controlled all the groups and was the actual leader was called 'Master'.

The second ranker who had good ober all abilities was called Vice-Master and so on.
"But...", all of them were hesitant to jump since they were flying 5,000 metres above the sea level.
The city was right under them and if they were to jump from the dungeon, they would be dead without a doubt.
"Just trust me!!! Jump!!!", for some reason the man had complete faith that they would survive.
'Without a doubt it's either illusion or there is a barrier...', the man thought.
The attacks were getting stronger and their frequency also increased.
Also, the attacks were now coming from all sorts of directs.
Even though the gate was opened and the light was clearly entering inside, nothing was visible. It was still a lot dark inside because of which most of them were in a panicked state.
"JUMPP!!!", the man shouted loudly which was comparable to a lion roaring.
Just by hearing the sound, some of them instinctively jumped off in which Mia was also included.
It seemed as if the Vice leader also jumped off since he also wanted to save his own life.
But some of them remained in place and had their heads split apart. Their bodies were ripped and some of their organs fell down too which was gross.
All of them tightly closed their eyes since they didn't want to see how they were falling.
They had almost given up on living and had thought about dying by accepting the fate but only one man, the vice leader, hadn't given up yet.
'Please... just what I've concluded after seeing this... let that happen... please...'
"...."
"..."
'BAM'
'BAM'
'BAM'
There were a lot of banging sounds as if all of them hit the ground really hard but when they opened their eyes they found that they were alright.
"This...", they had a bright smile on their faces and seemed quite happy.
Their joys knew no bounds and all of them laughed and hugged each other.
Some of them were still traumatised and had their mouths opened as if something unbelievable had happen.
'I... I'm still alive... thank god...', Mia started crying the moment she found out that she was safe too just like others.
All of them rushed towards the vice captain who had his eyes closed and was sitting at one place.
It seemed as if he was meditating but in reality he was trying to calm his heart which was beating several times faster.
"Vice leader..."
"Vice leader..."
"Vice leader..."
All of them called out to him after which he opened his eyes calmly since he couldn't afford to show them that he too was scared.
"Thanks a lot Vice Master! Because of you we are still alive!", all of them said this loudly.

They were sincerely expressing their gratitudes as he really was their saviour.
He could have abandoned them by throwing them as sacrifices in front of the attacks and could have used them as meat shields, but he didn't do anything like that.
All of them were pleased by the way he guided but more than that they were thankful for their lives that were saved just now.
"Uhh... please... you can thank me later but right now we aren't out of danger yet..", he said.
They understood what he wanted to tell since the place looked like the same area where they had been earlier too.
It was as if the exit led them back to the entrance area but the only difference was that they couldn't see the gate.
The gate has vanished the moment they had entered the dungeon because of which they couldn't exit. But from the outside it seemed as if the gate was placed in the same place.
They had brought a cameraman along with them who was an B rank hunter too.
He was actually forced to join them by his father when in reality he wanted to be an camera man.
He couldn't control himself and was shooting here too. But since the dungeon was located at a great height, wifi or net wasn't available here so all he could do was record the scenes thanks to his portable camera which was minute and was just stuck on the front of his shirt.
All of them now kept quiet and thought about what they could do. They could have waited there till some help arrived but the problem was that the ones that were attacking them earlier could attack them here too.
Hence, they weren't safe here either but regardless of that, it could be considered as the safest place.
Also, if any hunter or the main force were to enter through the entrance, they would most likely start from this area due to which they could gain support and help.
"Let's wait for a while here...", the man said and everyone agreed to him and just relaxed and sat there.
He did say them to wait here and relax but he was on guard because he couldn't possibly want himself and all of them to die.
'Damn, I keep getting a weird feeling from time to time...', the man as already mentioned had extraordinary reflexes and instincts.
It could easily be compared with one of the top A class abilities and that was why he was able to sense something even though it was perfectly hidden.
'It... it vanished? Am I.... am I hallucinating or...'
The feeling that he was getting vanished for an instant due to which he started to doubt his own reflexes.
He took a look at all the members and then looked towards the other side where they had entered earlier.
He didn't want to experience such an hell again.
He looked back again to keep a check at the menbers when suddenly he found something strange.
'Huh...? That's weird. Weren't there 13 menbers here totally? Why are now there only 12?'
Excluding himself there were indeed 13 members but right now when he took a glance at them again, he found that one of them was missing.
He started to get an odd feeling again so he immediately shouted and said, "Everyone, gather here! It seems like one of us has vanished! There are only 12 of you left there when there should be 13!!"
The man was getting a weird feeling again and again in a timely manner.
All of them who trusted him walked towards him.
"Only 12 Of ya left...?", Mia asked.
The man looked towards her and nodded his head.
Another man who was standing among them said, "Haha, look at what you are saying! You probably made a counting mistake!"
The man laughed and took what he said lightly.
"Counting mistake?", the man asked with confusion.
"Ya... include yourself man! There are totally 13 itself!", the man smiled and said that.
It seemed as if he was someone who would do anything to get attention that was why he was treating of the vice leaders warning as some joke.
"No I...", the Vice leader wanted to explain himself but the man didn't even let him speak.
"Now go and relax... he made a small mistake!"
They heard that, nodded their heads and left immediately to rest again.
"But man I...", the Vice leader wanted to say something again but he didn't allow him to say.
When both of them were left alone, he slowly whispered in the Vice leader's ears, "Don't try to be fucking smart! Only I can get the attentions... do you get it?"
"Huh...?"
The man told this and immediately went back to the place where he was sitting earlier.
The vice leader was left alone now. He just wanted their safety and was trying to tell them about the danger but due to one man, all of them ignored his warning.
But his instincts were warning him of something that could have happened anytime.
'This is no normal feeling...'
"..."

NOTE: Legendary Farmer is now COMPLETE. The first book, Clearing, was released on Kindle Unlimited July 5, 2022 with significant edits. I will post the first chapter of Clearing, as well as three chapters of Cuckoo's Dream, another novel in the LF universe, as a stub, with a link to the first book, so if you love LF and want me to be able to keep writing consistently, please go give Clearing five stars! In the VRMMORPG, Veritas Online, things are getting a little stale. Since the game launched, only one world- wide event has occurred, and that was a year ago.. The players are still having fun, but everyone agrees it’s about time for something big to happen. Everybody tends to forget that big things grow from small things, and little things are always changing in Veritas. The human country of Quarternell is at peace for the first time in... ever. Aspen, a former war hero, feels like he’s earned a quiet life together with his animal companions. They’re tired of fighting, and other people in general. They plan to live peacefully, far away from the city. As soon as Aspen figures out this farming thing out, he’s never going to go anywhere again. Unfortunately for Aspen, his country and his goddess aren’t quite done with him yet.Rouge the Rogue is a casual gamer in Veritas Online. She’s just a kid, and her focus is supposed to be on school and hanging out with friends. Emphasis on ‘supposed to’. She’s already pretty good at the school thing, and she doesn’t actually have that many friends. What she really loves is exploring all the cool ways the developers of Veritas found to make their game unique and realistic. Then she’s offered a very special quest, and an opportunity to go beyond the average player. She’s never been that much of a rule follower anyway....Clearing is appropriate for most ages. It has minimal foul language, no sex, and some violence. It is LGBTQ+ friendly. (P.S. IMPORTANT! This book contains very mild profanity, no sex, and is meant to be FUN. Yes, the characters sometimes think Deep Thoughts, and idealism pretty much runs rampant, but, in the end, I hope you just enjoy reading it. Laugh, cry, share it with your kids, read it to your dog, whatever makes you happy. My goal is for it to be accessible to everyone from ages 12ish on up, so you could definitely consider it YA, but with lots of big words because I don't believe in talking down to my readers.) Book Two: Harrowing (Starts after the original Chapter Fifty, now Sixteen, since I condensed chapters from the same perspective together.) Zoey has started her summer internship at Veritas Corporation, and she can honestly say that being an adult is boring. Until she starts learning secrets she was never supposed to know. In game, Rouge is finally making progress on her big quest. Apparently Duke Penbrooke took too long to return to the world, so the world is coming to get him... in the form of a few assassins. Aspen is going to have to face the life he left behind, and deal with the fact that it's not as easy being 'dead' as he thought. When what he'd hoped would be a short trip back to civilization to resupply turns into a whole lot more, he'll have to fight for his life, his friends, and his kingdom. Book Three: Sowing Rouge and Aspen have reached Bright, only to find that their enemies were already expecting them. They will have to quickly unravel the mysteries of who their opponents actually are, because they're already ten steps behind. Rouge and Aspen are finally home, but that doesn't mean they can return to their peaceful days of farming. Their enemies are hot on their heels and determined to destroy everything they've managed to achieve. Join them and all their friends for the final volume of Legendary Farmer.

The False Paladin
Divine Paladins, a title given to those who were blessed with the Lord's Favor, are the pillars of the kingdom of Calorin. However, a kingdom cannot simply be built from ideals of honor and duty. Sir Roel, the 58th Divine Paladin, knows that he's no hero. His sword is fake, his actual powers are middling, and his thoughts grow more cynical with every passing day. Upon receiving his next task, an order to assassinate a member of royalty, he wonders if the only thing he can do is bow his head and obey. Set in a medieval-era world in which brute strength is often subordinate to the schemes and machinations of the ruling class, this is a low fantasy story about a hero who struggles not only against monsters but also the idea that he's supposed to be the one fighting them. This fiction updates once to twice a week and each chapter is a minimum of 1000 words.
