"Huh...!?", Jay's joys knew no bounds.

He wants sure if it was really his luck or hardwork because he was getting strong weapons from the so called Shadow Merchant.

He hesitated a bit to accept it but then he thought that his life could be saved only by accepting the trade since all the four monsters that were behind him were bosses and were in a league of their own.

It was no longer about slaughtering or killing, it was about decisive attacks that would give him certain wins and for that he was required to have some sort of weapon or strategy in his hand.

"Yes, I accept!", immeditely after he told that the system's message disappeared only to let another message appear.

"Yes!!!", he was excited and finally relieved since he had attained some weapon right now which he could use against the monsters.

But he was yet again confused after taking a look at the so called 'Ring Of the Shadow merchant' that was mentioned.

"Tsk, I'll think about that later... for now my main priority is to survive... and that too by killing them!", that was the only option he had.

The system seemed to play a game with Jay because 'Run Amd Survive' wasn't even possible.

"I have no idea what this ring is but if I do have then I would like to summon you... CURSED DAGGERS!", he shouted.

The moment he did that, 2 short blades which were actually Daggers appeared in his hands.

The moment they appeared a black mist covered Jay's hands.

"Wait... these are...", Jay was completely shocked when he saw the weapons since they felt much more different when compared to the bow which he used earlier.

It seemed as if the Daggers had the mind of their own.

"These are completely different. What's with this sense of unease?", he wondered when suddenly he saw the goblin king rushing towards him while swinging the great sword of it.

"Fuck!"? Jay moved the dagger towards the goblin king in order to stop the sword but the Daggers cut the sword cleanly instead of stopping them.

"Huh? What's with that amazing power and sharpness?", he was baffled when he saw that.

But he couldn't afford to get distracted right now.

"Let's finish this Goblin king!", this was his chance to attack it and he immediately rushed towards it.

'SLASH SLASH SLASH'

The fight with the Goblin King ended in the just mere 3 seconds! It was completely slashed by Jay.

"Wow... what was that? My body felt lighter... just like when my Dash skill worked.", it seemed as if his agility had increased or boosted due to the Daggers effects.

He was staring at the dagger when suddenly he felt anouther murderous aura from behind and just swung his dagger towards that area only to find the king of wolves to be torn into pieces.

"J-just one swing was enough to take it down?", Jay didn't expect this and he was being surprised by everything that was happening.

He thought that this was the perfect moment to use the Daggers ability to the max and understand all of it.

"Hyaaaaa!!!"

He rushed towards the Ogre King which had a huge boulder in its hands and was aiming towards Jay.

It would have thrown it any moment when Kay suddenly thought of something that he could use and tried using it.

"Lightning Strike!", he used the skill Lightning Strike on the dagger very lightly by adjusting the amount of mana.

The Lightning was covering the Daggers completely. Jay aimed at the bloulder which the Ogre was carrying and threw the dagger that he was holding in his left hand with great force.

'BAM'

'CRICK CRACK'

The boulder shattered completely due to the Daggers impact and the Ogre never got a chance to throw it at Jay.

But Jay's actual aim wasn't the boulder when he threw the dagger.

It did appear that he was looking at the boulder but his real target was the Wyvern King that was flying behind the Ogre.

It seemed as if the line of contact if the boulder as well as the Wyvern matched due to which the dagger not only shattered the boulder but also hit the Wyvern at full speed and pierced through its think armour.

'ZZZDDDD'

The dagger was covered with lightning which gave a huge shock to the Wyvern king due to which most of its internal organs stopped functioning.

Also the dagger had hit its eye due to which it wasn't able to see clearly as earlier. Due to the passage of lightning to its brain, it had almost stopped functioning.

"RO...ar...", the Wyvern could hardly make any more sound and just crashed on the ground with a large force.

The Ogre king was confused on what was happening upon seeing which Jay rushed towards it with the dagger in his right hand and sliced it comepletely.

'KIRIK!!!', the Ogre king also died and this marked the end of all the four monsters that had been chasing Jay.

He was drenched with green blood which had posies out from the goblin king, wolf king and the Ogre king.

"Huff huff...", Jay was panting a bit since he had used almost all of his MP and his stamina was almost nil too.

He just quietly walked towards the Wyvern king and removed the dagger.

He was soon going to lose consciousness since he had exhausted himself already and was overworking himself.

At that moment when he was about to fall in the ground, he observed a black mist appearing from the ring that he was wearing which was engulfing all the bodies around him which vanishedimmrdaoteky after they were completely engulfed.

"Haha, so you really weren't a normal ring?@, he said this with a smiling face and fainted.

There were still more than one minute left in which a monster could be easily spawned but it seemed like it really was the end of spawnings.

The system allowed Jay to rest for the time being because he was indeed tired.

He had a good amount of HP which wasn't worrisome and his other stats were also fine but the Cursed Daggers And the bow had vanished.

Probably they went back inside the ring and were kept there which acted like an inventory only to a certain things.

Soon the quest time ended and a system notification popped up.

It seemed as if Jay had completely cleared the quest that was suddenly given to him.

He was already handicapped when all his stats were reduced to 1 except HP and MP.

He would eventually run out of stamina too but thanks to the Koriantan combat, his internal energy with mana kept on helping him to recover his stamina.

His attacking power and defence had already been reduced to one which meant that it wouldn't affect the monsters much, but thanks to his over use of mana, the skills that he used were much stronger.

Also, the inventory helped him a lot.

He was double handicapped when the inventory was also shut to which he couldn't access and that was the time when the unknown artifact, the Ring Of the Shadow Merchant helped him.

Alas, he was completely drained and was now just resting on the ground while slowly regaining his consciousness.

Many other different notifications were popping up about Leveling up and gained different items.

However the could see them. All he did was sleep on the open area under the night sky.

It was indeed awesome that he got new powers, skills and weapons. On top of that he discovered a new artifact which was always with him so it was an hapoy ending for him right now.

But it seemed like someone was quite shocked to see all this.

"Fuck!!! How did he survive!!? And how the heck did he get his hands on that ring!!?", other than eyes nothing was visible.

Everything was dark but it seemed as if this individual was watching Jay from the start through his computer screen.

"Jay Down... the Black King... you are too similar to the king of the dark era. You must die no matter what...", the voice started laughing loudly in a crooked way as if he had something in store for Jay.

Soon some time passed and it was going to be morning when Jay opened his eyes due to the chill ness.

"Huh?", he was shocked to find Sebas, Katherine, Akaluman and Wolfy surrounding him.

"What are you...?", he was about to ask when suddenly all three of them hugged him.

Akaluman stayed back and watched this because he couldn't understand the human emotions well.

"Master... I'm glad that you are alright!!!", Sebas shouted and so did Wolfy.

Katherine backed off because she wasn't that close to him.

She too was indeed worried and now that Jay was fine all of them sighed in relief.

"Haha, what can even happen to me?", Jay laughed.

"That's precisely what we are asking... what happened here?", Akaluman asked in a deep voice.
