The Abandoned Hunter Chapter 91

"The white bracelet...", it seemed as if he saw Jay wearing the white bracelet in his right wrist.
"Was that really a white bracelet?", he had an extraordinary capacity to remember things due to which he was able to observe the minute detail.
"That kid! I need to see him immediately!", saying this he immediately rushed toward Jay's Room.
MEANWHILE...
"Ya Sebas, now can you here me?", Jay asked.
"Yes master, I can hear you.", Sebas replies immediately.
"Well, I just wanted to ask you that after you all had rescued the students, how did you get back to the dungeon?", that was a grave doubt which he had.
He has already sent Wolfy to home earlier and this it wouldn't have been Wolfy who had created a Portal.
He didn't want to believe that they all went flying or by walk, all the way back to the dungeon because that would have been too troublesome.
If someone had spotted them then the rouble would have increased.
Also, their route of leaving would have been recorded in CCTV cameras that were placed at various location which would expose the place where the dungeon was.
That would have lead many hunters to attack the place due to which Jay had to find another place. He didn't want anymore troubles right now and that was why he asked expecting a good answer in return.
"Master, wasn't it you who created a Portal for us to return?", Sebas said with innocence.
"Huh? Me?", Jay was confused when he heard this.
"Yes master...", Sebas couldn't understand Jay's reason for asking such a question.
"...", Jay was quiet for sometime since he wasn't able to understand what exactly had happened that time.
First of all he was unconscious and the things the voice told him were also half. On top of that Sebas was saying that they returned through a portal that was forged by Jay himself.
These all things puzzled him even more.
"Okay fine Sebas listen, I will be coming there for a moment...", Jay thought that it was best to test if what Sebas told was indeed the truth.
"Yes master as you wish. You can come right away.", Sebas didn't have any problem with it since the dungeon was now Jay's anyway and he had no rights over it.

The only thing that he had to do right now was inform all the Vampires that Jay was arriving right now which he could easily say using telepathy.
Then immediately Jay extended his right hand and said, "Portal! Open!"
And suddenly a blue-black coloured Portal gets opened.
"You are kidding me right?", he has literally not expected it to really appear.
He was just trying to say some random words. It was like a miracle because he didn't have a skill like that.
"...", he slowly walked towards it when he took a look at Wolfy.
He asked Wolfy to tag along after which both of them entered the Portal only to appear in the dungeon where the Vampires were waiting.
It seemed as if Jay had to just think of the place while forming the Portal. Then he would be able to go to that place which he had initially thought and that was how his Portal powers worked.
"All hail the Black King!!!", all the Vampires including Sebas and Katherine were bowing to him.
Some were having a deep sense of respect while some feared which was a bit different from what they initially had.
Earlier they bowed to him only because of the so called title and the black mist that was arising behind him but right now they all were genuinely bowing.
Also, Katherine who seemed to be rebellious earlier was now completely loyal to him.
"Did something happen?", was what he thought in his mind.
He then asked all of them to raise their heads and told them to resume what they were doing.
He had some work with Sebas and thus walked along with him towards the inner chambers.
Katherine was also walking away when suddenly Jay called out to her.
"Katherine, you too join us.", he said it with a dominating tone as if he was superior for the time being.
But Katherine seemed to be happy all of a sudden and immediately dashed towards Jay.
All three of them went inside a secret chamber where Jay started to tell them the reason for him coming here.
"Listen, I have an important task for both of you.", Jay started telling everything that had to be done because it seemed as if he wanted to be prepared for something.
"Yes master?", Sebas replies with a humble tone.

"Yes master, I will fulfill it at all costs!", Katherine seemed to be excited.
"I have placed this dungeon in a forest but that was not simply because it was far away from humans..."
"Then master?", Sebas had thought that Jay had only one objective and that was to keep the Vampires away from humans but it seemed as if he was wrong.
"It's because I felt an unknown energy surging from this area.", Jay seemed serious when he told that which depicted that it was significantly large energy.
"Yes master, I too felt something similar when we shifted to this place.", Sebas answered immediately.
Katherine was also nodding her head to what Jay was saying.
"So what I want you both to do is, go towards the cave that is emitting such large amount of dark energy and check what actually lies there.", Jay could have done by himself if he wanted to but it seemed that he didn't want to throw his life away just like that.
He finally understood the true worth of his life and the Vampires seemed like mere pawns to him when he compared them with his life.
But that didn't mean that he would just lose them right away. He wanted to keep them for a longer period of time and upgrade them by helping them to improve. That way, his so called pawns might become his secret weapons.
Both of them nodded their heads and were ready to do what Jay had asked.
Jay still had many things to say so he continued.
AT THE SAME TIME...
"That kid! I need to see him immediately!", saying this he immediately rushed toward Jay's Room.
All the students were inside their rooms now so it was quite a free and straight way for him to run.
However he ran too fast and missed Jay's Room and went to the next Room.
He knocked the door but there was no response. He knocked again soon after which a boy opened the door.
He immediately entered the room and looked here and there only to find no one else in the Room.
"Sir...?", the boy was shocked seeing him barge inside his room.
No matter how perfect a human is ,it was human's tendency to make mistake while they are doing things in a hurry.
"Is this the wrong Room?", saying this he immediately rushed outside and decided to check the room that was towards his left which was indeed Jay's Room.
'KNOCK KNOCK'
He knocked the door but there was no response. He knocked again only to find complete silence on the other side of the room.
That was because Jay had already left through the portal to the dungeon because of which there was no one right now inside the room.
Shon wasn't aware of that and kept on knocking while waiting for someone to open the door but it seemed as if his waiting was for nothing.
He then doubted his vision and thought about checking other rooms that were near Jay's Room.
But after entering the rooms, he found different students occupying and sitting in the rooms.
"Now that's weird...", he was completely confused now and lost track of which took he was checking.
He then walked the opposite way and started to check and finally Jay's Room.
"Ya, this is the only room which I haven't checked yet."
Students were asked to be in their rooms and not leave them because of sanitisation and other reasons. Because of that all the rooms were packed but it seemed like Jay's Room was empty.
'KNOCK KNOCK'
He knocked again and waited for one minute. Slowly he was running out of patience.
"If you don't open the door, I'll break it!", was what he said.
It was not just a useless warning, he really intended to do that and could easily do since he was an A rank hunter after all.
"Okay fine, don't open!", after waiting for 2 more minutes he finally decided to really break the door when suddenlubhe saw the dorm incharge marching that way.
"Oh! Oh!", he immediately looked at him and went towards him to get a spare key because of some official reasons.
He too handed over the key, and immediately after getting it he rushed towards the door and opened it as soon as he could.
The door opened and he entered the room immediately only to find emptiness. There was no one in the room.
"This... I knew it. He was the one from the footage.", was what he told.
"..."

The Grey Realm, an Erebus Story.
Written by: Staugroan and The Inklets. Edited by: Claudia Adams. In the beginning there was a god, who watched over and made one world his own. Soon after the god grew restless, but happened to stumble on a small world filled with life. This world was named Erebus by its peoples; humanity. The god was so fascinated with this new world that he started to copy it back home, creating oceans, forests, deserts, and so forth. Then the god created life and eventually his favored creations who would be immortals and be the better of mankind in every way-the elves. So often the god had traveled to Erebus that the two worlds became linked by magic and their inhabitants could cross at will. Relations between the races flourished, and a great empire was born in the Grey Realm, home of the elves. But the god once again grew restless, and set loose great beasts that stood at the top of any food chain, the apex. At first the elves met the challenge and fought them head on. But mankind was not so lucky, they died in droves to push back even a single apex. Something had to be done. Elves and man worked together to begin sealing off the worlds to protect mankind, to limit the ways in and out to better fight the apex off and keep their fellows safe. The ritual had adverse effects the likes of which neither the elves nor man could predict; the sealing of the worlds started slow, but the magic had never been done before, and in their ignorance it spread to completely cut the two worlds off from one another. It ejected the apex, and other magical being back into the Grey Realm, saving Erebus. At first the elves were content, they would find a way back once the apex were dead and gone. But the seal had done more than keep Erebus locked away. The powersource of the seal was magic itself, from both worlds, and it consumed it all greedily. The elves, weakened without their magic, crumbled into ruin, and the apex were free to hunt the other races of the Grey Realm. Two-thousand years later a strange phenomena is occurring and magic is slowly returning to the Grey Realm, and tears open that allow passage to Erebus. Thu'lain and a few elves must make the journey to fallen kingdom of the elves Anosora, in the hopes of reclaiming what was once theirs. They must face their nemesis the apex, and survive not only the species that have turned against them, but a terrible being left behind by the god to kill even the apex. Uch'l'thein, the faceless terror.

However, if you guys think that it needs more dialogue, I'll be happy to input that. Although I say that, the following chapters that I'll be uploading will be more or less straight to the point to give a faster feeling for the plot. Don't worry though, I'm not going to abandon writing the intricate details, especially the ones that you guys need to know in order to have knowledge of the world that they're in, and the lore that I'm weaving.
