The Abandoned Hunter Chapter 49

Jay was thrilled and he immediately dashed towards the battle area.
One of the elders accompanied him.
"Wow, this area is bigger than it seemed from bird's view!"
He quickly observed his surroundings and found many abnormal things that were placed in the area.
He felt as if they were quite necessary for the training hence didn't pry much about them for now.
The elder soon arrived at the place. For some reason he felt a freidndly feeling and a family like feeling. In fact the truth was that he was one who approved to train Jay while the elders were discussing.
For some reason the elder had taken quite a liking to Jay.
"Um... so should we begin?"
The elder wasn't able to understand what Jay said but he somehow knew that Jay wanted to start training as soon as possible.
So the elder suddenly lifted a heavy bolder that was lying just 10 metres away in the area which weighed not more than 500 KG and threw it towards Jay.
He shouted, "Hadamna!!!"
Jay wasn't able to understand what he meant and immdetely tried to punch and break the boulder.
He immediately pulled his right hand backwards and punched it with all his strength.
'BAM'
AFTER 10 SECONDS...
The elder was staring at Jay as if he was looking at some fool.
"Uhh... what just happened? Why didn't the boulder break? I used all of my strength but still couldn't break it?"
Jay was completely shocked. Not only breaking the boulder, he couldn't even leave a scratch or any sort of mark on it.
"Are you kidding me? Is this some magical rick or something?"
He looked towards the elder to know his purpose for throwing the boulder towards him.
The elder remembered that Jay had communicated with them using drawings so he immediately pulled out a stick and started drawing.

"Huh? Is elder doing the same thing that I did?"
Jay immediately dashed to the site and observed the drawing that the elder made. Although it was not too notch and barely passable, he was able to understand the true intentions behind throwing the boulder.
The art showed a man carrying the boulder so he instantly understood that he had to pick up the boulder and carry it and he immediately did that.
The elder smirked a bit and then showed this index finger trying to tell Jay to follow him.
Jay followed him towards the mountain that he was going. The elder went up the mountains and came down and so did Jay, and by this the elder indicated him that he had to climb up the mountain and come back down.
Jay started doing it.
Similarly he was taught various other basics and after clearing all those he was taught fighting techniques and combat tactics.
However it was quite shocking that Jay completely learned their arts within 30 hours and finished the basics within 18 hours. In total he learned and memorised all the combat arts in 48 hours.

The Voice of the World
Jason Elric used to be an ordinary college student living in the heart of San Francisco. He had a part time job, he played online games with friends he got along moderately well with, and he earned reasonably good grades. The worst he really had to worry about in life was turning in his coursework on time and not being late to class. Now, though? Now fighting for his life and running from a horde of giant frogs that want to make him their next meal is just another Tuesday. Thanks to a summoning ritual gone terribly right, Jason has found himself trapped in a world eerily similar to the role playing games games he used to play for fun. Unfortunately for the now ex-college student, everything happening around him is terrifyingly real and if he wants to survive, he’ll have to figure out how to exploit the system for his benefit before it’s too late. The Voice of the World is the first part of what is planned to be a multi-book, Isekai LitRPG story with crafting elements, set in the fantasy world known as Verdania. This is my first time posting online for public consumption, so bear with me as I work to find a style that people like. While I may occasionally write scenes that may deal with heavy concepts, expect this story to be primarily light hearted high fantasy. There will be a lot of common fantasy tropes involved, as this story got its start as a simple practice exercise, rather than any plan to actually post it. However, it’s grown on me, so I felt it’s worth sharing after all. Thus, if you’re looking for more serious/original/unusual stories, you might want to look elsewhere. For the rest of you, feel free to leave suggestions, as well as to point out grammar and spelling mistakes; I’ll do my best to make edits to correct them. I do my own editing currently, and it’s easy to miss things when you know what’s supposed to be there, so such call outs are highly encouraged. Content TLDR: No harems, probably no romance (unless it makes sense for the story later on) (it did, eventually), definitely no sex (keeping this PG-13 or close to it), limited profanity. Does/Will contain mixes of magic and technology (think Warhammer, Final Fantasy); copious amounts of blue tables; race, gender, and sexual equality concepts; crafting sequences; and (slightly, but not overbearingly) strong protagonists. If you don’t like these things, go elsewhere instead of downvoting people for content instead of writing quality. Update Time currently varies, due to personal injury, but the goal is 1/week on Wednesdays, with a possible smaller chapter on weekends if time/health permits.

Apocalypse Simulator
Axed. Moratulis: a vrmmo game that promised a life just like modern times but with the promise of fantasy adventures and magic. Except after getting into the game they found out what it actually is: a simulator of the future. The objective is simple: take out the demon king, logout, and do it again. Problem is that the game feels like it's on hardcore mode. But here's the thing: if you survive to the end, you can take to the real world all of your in-game possessions. This means your looks, money, power, and items. Keyword there: survive. And so the MC is a guy that made it to the final battle. He has seen so much shit and does not have the best view of humanity at this point. And then his teammates betray him. Cliche, right? At least he messed them up real good. But he came back a month before the game began. This is his tale. Sooo what is the point of this story? Well I kinda just wanted to write a story about scumbags and them dying in horrible ways because yes I have a twisted sense of humor like that.
