"What!!? No! You mustn't do anything, they will kill you..."
Jay with empty and dead eyes said, "Mom, I'm not the shrimp anymore... don't worry, nothing will happen to me."
"What do you mean? You can't be serious..."
"Mom, Don't worry about me. I'll take care of this matter, just gimme some time."
And when Jay was speaking to her mom, someone knocked the door in a rather unruly manner.
'Dud dud dud'
The door was practically being banged at by the people outside.
"It... it just be them. What do we do? We have to hide. Jewel come quick let's..."
Jay suddenly holds her mom and smiles as if he was reassuring her.
"Trust me, you go inside I'll handle this matter..."
His mom decides to trust Jay. So she did as he said and went to her room and locked the door.
Jay moves forward to open the door when there was sudde my a loud sound and the door was broken into pieces.
'BAM'
The broken pieces of the door scattered throughout the house.
Then suddenly five people eneyered the Room. One of them was wearing black glasses and one was bald and very strong. All the five men who eneyered were pretty arrogant.
"Kekeke, now now, look at this punk. He was standing here all along but didn't want to open the door."
The black glasses person was taking the lead and other were standing a bit behind his back. Based on this Jay concluded that he might be the boss of this small crew.
"..."
Jay didn't reply and their was silence for a brief moment. Then again the boss of the crew taunted Jay.
"You son of a bitch, why are you here? And if you are here why didn't you empty the house? Have you prepared 1 million USD? Come on speak up! If the birch is hiding inside then bring her out!!! Hahaha"

Jay could take any insult or taunts that are throw at him but if it's about his family, he can't tolerate it. And that's why his anger reached peak but somehow he controlled himself since he didn't want her mother to see this mess.
"Umm... I can pay you 1 million USD, but after 3 days, is that fine?"
Jay finally spoke but for some reason his voice was wavering.
"Hahahaha, look at him. He says he can give that huge lump of money in just 3 days, you are amusing, I'll give you 3 days but if you can't get 1 million USD you're sister will be our plaything and we will destroy this house Hahahaha!"
The boss of the crew laughed every time as he mentioned his sister's name since he thought it was impossible for Jay to collect that huge sum in mere 3 days.
They all left, however they had failed to notice that Jay was just acting. He had learnt how to act weak from Dun Young.
AFTER 5 MINUTES...
Jay's mom came out and saw Jay sitting on sofa and thinking intensely.
She observed that the door was smashed into pieces and thought that they might have fought here.
She immediately ran towards Jay and hugged him.
"Mom...?"
"I'm sorry, please forgive me. I'm a failure as a mother, it's better if I die... Waaa..."
She started crying in his arms yet again. For some reason Jay could feel her pain and warmth at the same time.
He patted her head and waited until she calmed down.
Then her mom got up and went to wash her face which was drenched with tears when Jay made a sinister look with an evil laughter.
"You surely know how to amuse me, SYSTEM!"

8 130Avaria: A Pay To Win Adventure
Avaria is a game like world where the wealthy are the strong. Want more strength, a specific skill or spell, well there's an item for that. If you can get it of course. These items are rare and far from plentiful, hoarded by the wealthy that can afford them. Acquired from Avaria itself, these items are dropped from strong monsters and dungeons, so if someone doesn't have the money, they must get it the hard and dangerous way. Don’t worry though, even the poor are born with at least one skill or spell that could help them in life, apart from the basic mana skills that everyone is born with. Usually these skills and spells are passed down from a parent. Of course, that doesn't mean they can use it. Any skills from birth are locked and unusable to start. Unlockable through great effort and practise, something many are unable to do without some guidance. There is another much quicker way however, through gaining experience from killing monsters and using that experience to unlock it. Adam is a human summoned to this world from earth. What effect can he have on this world when he is given a skill that he knows can be used to help many people, with the desire to do just that. Unfortunately it won't be so easy, as there are many obstacles in his way. It’s a cruel world, but he will have help and doesn’t have to do it alone as he meets new companions and makes friends along the way. Lianna is another human from earth who is summoned the same time as Adam. Though things go much differently for her as she is quickly enslaved, beaten and tortured. Unable to understand what her enslavers are telling her, she has a difficult time following through with the commands given to her. Forced to fight creatures and level up against her will. Authors Note: Aiming to post 1 chapter/week, while writing at least 1 chapter/week.
8 295Harmless Sweetie (Rewritten)
*UPDATES EVERY MONDAY AND FRIDAY, SOMETIMES MORE IF I DON'T HAVE SCHOOLWORK. **This is tagged as comedy but I have a really stupid and peculiar sense of humor so yeah. "That's an eldritch horror." "No it's not, it's a frog." "Why does it have ten eyes and eight rows of teeth, not just that but why does it just perpetually scream with the voices of the ones whose mind it has eaten." "I'm just not that good at anatomy." *** Clailip Diancia, the tiny boy who dances along the threads of fate woven by a wicked witch. Not knowing of the plans of the witch that once scorched the lands, and unknowing of the abyss that beckons him forth. This harmless sweetie watches the stories of those around him. Ever unconscious of the turning loom of fate, always oblivious of the stories, legends, and tapestries of heroes that revolve around him as he goes, as he dances, and as he prances, leaving myths and rumours wherever he might set foot in. But as he is unaware of those whose fates have intertwined with his, he is also blind to the soul-piercing stares of the Abyss, ever calling to him.
8 267Escaping the Box
Leylin had been inextricably shunned by his father even in his most distant memory. His father, a gifted mage and respected noble of the Varius House, should have raised him to be an heir to his position, but instead, he was ignored. Thinking that his father's apathy came as a result of his personal faults, worked from a young age to improve his mind and body.
8 133The Dungeon Gods [DEAD - AWAITING REWRITE]
More than three centuries ago, the Great Mage, Arcius, Performed the single greatest feat a magician can accomplish, he looked into the future, and discovered his fate. In his visions, he discovered his reincarnation, to become a Dungeon. Desiring to rise to great heights again, even in his new life, he spent the remaining centuries he had researching and studying the strange beings called Dungeons, and devising a spell that would allow him to retain his memories. However, the very act of knowing what is to come can often be enough to alter Destiny. Impressed at the Mage's efforts, an ancient, powerful being, the Creator of Gods, has now chosen him, to become one of the Dungeon Gods of a new world in a new segment of reality. Their directive, to bring life to this new world. Follow him, as he brings forth the knowledge his efforts awarded him, and pits it against his unprepared competitors, in a bid to be the first to create sentient life. This is my first full on story, and is mostly going to be a learning experience for me. It is going to be a story following the life of Arcius as a Dungeon God, with very few POV swaps, if any. If I make any errors, either in spelling or in grammer, please let me know, and I will endevour to correct them ASAP. I was inspired to create this story after reading the Scale Dungeon, by TheSilverGunner, here on RRL. It is a good story, despite having only a few chapter out at the time of writing this. I highly recommend that you read that story if you find this one interesting.
