The Abandoned Hunter Chapter 27

He was now very tired. Without thinking anything else he kept on walking for another 30 minutes after which all of his strength was consumed and he suddenly fell unconscious.
And as soon as he fell down, some beasts that were hiding in shadows started to come out.
Slowly and steadily they started to move towards Jay.
It was as if Jay had run to a dead end. Usually he doesn't takes much risks but thanks to the system and Dun Young, his confidence had maxed.
However, he was lying now as if there was no life in his body.
JAY IN HIS INNER CONSCIOUSNESS...
"Where... where am I? What is this place? It's so dark. It's suffocating dammit! I need to get out of here..."
Then suddenly in that void dark space he saw a light. In fact it was nothing other than his system that he had.
There was a system notification that had been ringing even in his mind and thanks to that he suddenly woke up.
But his vision was blurry. Also all his senses were dimmed.
"Damn, what's with this? I can't see anything properly!"
But fortunately the system was working and it acted in its own.

The beasts that were approaching him suddenly paused. They started to move back little by little. All the beasts that were below level 60 ran away immediately and the remaining beasts were covering in fear.
"Haha, I knew it! That boy is indeed incredible. The moment I met him I felt the strange oppressive Aura around him and now that's what is keeping him safe."

Dun Young was standing on top of a tree and watching all this while hiding his presence.
Slowly and steadily Jay's vision was returning and all the poison in his body was also being nullified. It was rather a momentary peace that was acquired but as stated it was only for a moment.
Suddenly the 3 headed Serpent appeared out of nowhere. Perhaps it thought that this was the best moment to attack Jay when he was at his most vulnerable state.
It barred out its unusual poison filled fangs to attack Jay.
Jay's senses had almost become stable and that's to his immediate response he was able to dodge the attack by jumping up at the height of 10 metres.
And then unknowingly he pulled out the heavy BLOOD SWORD that he had put away in the storage and uncontrollably fell at a great speed.
But just before the moment when he was about to land, he swung his sword using almost entire of his strength as the snakes 3 heads were positioned perfectly parrallel to each other.
With one great swing using only brute strength he chopped off all the 3 heads of the serpent and the serpent's body fell down while all the blood that was awfully green in color gushed out of its body and splashed all over Jay.
"Eww... what was that...?"
Jay gave out a sigh after being drenched in the serpents blood.
"But that was amazing. I don't know what happened but my body moved on it's own!" Was what Jay thought as he gazed at the body of the serpent lying on the ground.
And when he was looking for something to wipe off the blood a system notification popped up.

Tales of the Old World Demon Lord
1984 had indeed come, however it was 100 years late. In 2084 a man named [Sovereign] had taken control of the entire globe and the destiny of Humanity itself was in his hands. Many called him evil, perhaps he was, but Sovereign believed that he was cultivating the future of humanity; he knew that if Humanity continued on its current trajectory it would not last. However his plans came to an abrupt end when he was tragically murdered by his closest confidante. For a time after that the world finally found peace as their evil overlord had been overthrown but as Sovereign had predicted the world indeed came to an end. Humanity had returned to its old ways, they reconstructed borders, created separations known as 'countries' and in the end without unification and a single future, war had once again engulfed the world. Slowly as it choked on its own ineptitude the humans killed themselves off as their resources depleted and the planet was made uninhabitable. However this was not the end of the story for Sovereign, but a new beginning. Born again in a world of swords and sorcery he quietly evaluates the mettle of these new humans. Should they not come to meet his standards then 'Sovereign' would also be reborn. "To the primitive fools who believe magic reigns supreme, allow me to demonstrate the might of the old world technology."Arc 1: Kenesis Enhancement Project/SovereignArc 2: Human Immortalization Project/Nemesis Arc 3: The Skyfall Project/Gungnir

8 189Reincarnated as a Warlock with zero skill
My previous life was just as boring as yours. I was a marketing manager for a flooring company. The biggest challenge? Would the latest colour be called "Grey Oak" or "Oak Grey". Then, tragedy. I was struck down in the prime of my life by a negligent delivery driver and a pallet of laminate flooring - which is significantly heavier than you think. So there I was, smeared on the floor, absorbed in my own self pity. Where would I go? Heaven? Hell. Did I care? Apparently that was not what fate had in store for me. Reborn in a world of dragons and fantasy, I became a Warlock. A pretty darn important one too. The problem, I had little to no affinity to magic and I spent most of my time doing my best to avoid danger. Danger however, would not avoid me. So, with my new life as an amazing Warlock you'd think it would be easy street right? Wrong. Forces gather to move against the Kingdom I am sworn to protect and, whilst my inward allegiance is to whomever is the victor, outwardly I must lead the resistance against the invaders. With my skilled companions Asha - a mage that can actually do magic and Torg - a swordsman sworn to protect me, I can only hope that they distract the enemy long enough for me to run away.
