The Abandoned Hunter Chapter 5

Some of the hunters couldn't understand what Jay meant by and some of them immediately did what Jay said when they saw him lying on the ground.
After 2 minutes...
Out of the 15 total hunters that had entered, 8 of them died and only 7 were left.
All of their heads had just disappeared and the only thing that was left is their neck and the blood stains!
The remaining hunters saw this and immediately puked.
"Damn... if only i had told them earlier... they wouldn't have died!"
Jay started blaming himself as he couldn't watch them just die like this. He kept on thinking that he could have saved them all of he was a bit fast.
"I... I am alive..."
Mia was trembling and thanking God for her survival. She thought she would have been dead for sure but due to Jay she was alive.
Jay then stands upright and shouts, "Listen everyone, it is dangerous here, so whatever I say just do it properly!"
On hearing this some hunters decided to trust Jay while others didn't like him.
The black dragon was shocked and infuriated at the same time. His entire attention was now on Jay Down as he was the main reason why some of them could evade the fire.
"You human... I want you!"
The dragon speaks up human language with a heavy and scary tone.
Jay was taken in by surprise. He didn't think that the dragon would just say it out rightly.
"This... this wasn't in the dream.."
Jay's legs started to tremble and it was because the scene from his dream had changed.
"What happened to him suddenly? Why is he trembling?" Mia thought hard about it.
The dragon further said, "It would be an awesome feast! Give me that human, I will let others go!"

"Eh? What?"
Jay was now further surprised and puzzled. But now he had understood the dragon's intentions.
The dragon thought that Jay Down had some unknown power that could see the future! And if the dragon eats him, he would get the power as his own and might become the strongest true dragon ever!
"They won't abandon me like that... haha haha..."
Jay was trying to tell the dragon that the hunters here were his friends and won't do such a thing as abandon him but the hunters gave out a complete opposite response.
"Yes! You can take him! Do whatever you want with him, just let us go..."
All the hunters were saying the same thing.
"Wait what? Guys... you will leave me here to die...?"
To Jay such treatment was not something new however leaving him to die was something which he had never thought of.
In his eyes all of them looked like a devil. None of them cared about others and only thought about their needs selfishly.
"Damn... you all! Damn you!" (Jay Down)
The dragon released the immense pressure and all the hunters were able to move. They all started running without caring for Jay as if he was just a pawn and expendable.
The only one who wanted to save Jay was Mia and also another person called Brock.
However they were forced to run against their wills.
Jay saw this and was happy within that at least 2 of them cared for him but it was too late.
All that was left within him was remorse, sorrow and hate.
"Don't... don't leave me... please... I don't want to be abandoned!"
He said this while extending his hands out and crying in a pitiful manner.
And the moment he looked at the ground he found a huge shadow of the dragon and realized that it was his last moment.
