Dragon Prince Yuan Chapter 1139

Zhou Yuan did not know why someone from Wanshou Heaven wanted to meet him. Fortunately, his curiosity did not last for long. Like Guan Qinglong said, the Wanshou Heaven team reached the Hunyuan Heaven camp half a day later.
Countless curious gazes in the enormous camp looked outside the camp. Many people were honestly rather curious about Wanshou Heaven.
It was said that Wanshou Heaven was mainly populated by Genesis Beasts, who occupied more than 70% of the land. Moreover, there were special laws in Wanshou Heaven that enabled Genesis Beasts to cultivate and develop intelligence more easily than the other heavens.
Hence, Wanshou Heaven was the holy land for many Genesis Beasts that had developed their intelligence.
A group led by Guan Qinglong was waiting outside the camp. Zhou Yuan was naturally among them.
Everyone was currently peering into the distance where they could feel a tremendous amount of unconcealed Genesis Qi undulations. The sound of rushing wind rang out as a powerful force barbarically tore the fog apart. Figure after figure emerged and descended from the sky, landing in front of the camp.
Countless people looked over, finding over a hundred individuals. The newcomers were mostly similar to humans but had some special beast-like characteristics. They were likewise observing the Hunyuan Heaven side.
Guan Qinglong cupped his fists together and smiled as his steady voice rang out, “Friends from Wanshou Heaven, I am Guan Qinglong of Hunyuan Heaven’s Wushen Region. I welcome all of you here.”
“So it’s captain Guan Qinglong. I’ve long heard of your name,” a voice tinged with a sliver of special authority sounded from the Wanshou Heaven side. A muscular and imposing man slowly walked out. He had a handsome face and golden pupils. As he spoke, a dragon roar seemed to faintly echo and ripple the air around him.
Guan Qinglong gazed at him and said, “You must be Wanshou Heaven’s head captain, the Mystic Dragon Clan’s Jiang Jinlin.”

Zhou Yuan also stared at the golden-pupiled man. The faint pressure he gave off was likely dragon pressure. He gave Zhou Yuan a very dangerous feeling, and he was obviously not to be underestimated.
As for the Mystic Dragon Clan, Zhou Yuan had already done his homework on them. Although there were millions of different species in Wanshou Heaven, the seven clans reigned above everyone else as the strongest. The Mystic Dragon Clan, the Spirit Phoenix Clan, the Golden Monkey Clan, the Mountain Moving Ape Clan, the Roaring Heavenly Lion Clan, the Ancient Whale Clan and the Earth-Shaking Divine Tiger Clan...among them, the Mystic Dragon Clan and the Spirit Phoenix Clan were just a tiny bit stronger than the rest.
Jiang Jinlin chuckled softly, a slightly proud look in his eyes. As a noble Mystic Dragon Clan member, they worshipped the ancestral dragon and felt superior to others. Hence, there was pride embedded deep in their bloodline.
In a certain manner of speaking, this attitude was a little similar to the Sacred Race’s, just not as extreme.
Jiang Jinlin nonchalantly swept his golden pupils across the captains of the various Hunyuan Heaven factions as he casually remarked, “Hunyuan Heaven doesn’t seem to be as strong as I expected. Except for captain Guan Qinglong, the captains from the other eight regions seem pretty ordinary.”
These words immediately made the atmosphere a little rigid and turned the faces of the other captains a little sour. Jiang Jinlin was so rude—was he here to flex his muscles at Hunyuan Heaven?
Guan Qinglong’s expression remained impassive as he said, “Wang Xuanyang is pretty strong as well. Unfortunately, he died in an accident.”
Jiang Jinlin smiled and said, “To have died so early, his capabilities must have been rather limited.”
Several people on the Wanzu Region side sent angry glares over. Why is this bastard’s tongue so malicious?

Guan Qinglong’s expression darkened a little.
Fortunately, an elegant voice sounded at this moment, “Please forgive us friends from Hunyuan Heaven. Captain Jiang Jinlin has always been quick to talk before he thinks and knows nothing of restraint. However, he does not have any ill intentions.”
Several people followed the voice with their gazes, and their eyes brightened in amazement.
It was a tall and slender woman. Her black hair was tied up in a phoenix bun, displaying her fair and lovely neck. She wore a golden dress that looked very luxurious, and it wrapped nicely around her beautiful body. Overall, she gave off an elegant and noble aura.
She met everyone’s gaze with a slight smile. “The Spirit Phoenix Clan’s Ai Qing greets our Hunyuan Heaven friends.”
Guan Qinglong’s expression softened a little. “So it’s the Spirit Phoenix Clan’s captain Ai Qing.”
Zhou Yuan only took a single glance before shifting his eyes away. Although she was pretty, he had developed a certain resistance against such beauty due to Yaoyao and Su Youwei. In a certain manner of speaking, Ai Qing was a little similar to Wu Yao; however, one was elegant while the other was domineering.
Ai Qing clearly did not wish for things to turn unfriendly at their first meeting. Hence, she took over for Jiang Jinlin and introduced the captains from both sides to ease the tension.
Jiang Jinlin did not seem to care, his expression still prideful. In his eyes, no one else on the Hunyuan Heaven side was worthy of his attention besides Guan Qinglong. He felt that Hunyuan Heaven did not really live up to their title of being the strongest among the five heavens.
“This is the Ancient Whale Clan captain, Gu Dali.”
Zhou Yuan looked over in interest and found a large, pale fatty. He looked simple, honest and seemingly harmless, but Zhou Yuan could sense the terrifying power contained within the fatty’s body.
The Ancient Whale Race was well known for their strength, and the Heavenly Yuan Brush’s million whale rune had been designed based on them.
“From the Golden Monkey Clan, this is captain Jin Linger and vice captain Jin Feng. They’re siblings.” Ai Qing pointed at a pair of figures. The girl was exceptionally eye-catching. She had long glittering golden hair that draped over her shoulders, reaching her waist. A golden tail reached out from behind her and was wrapped around her tiny waist.
She had an extremely hot and sexy figure that was further accentuated by her very fitting black clothes. Her facial features were also very beautiful, and a certain wildness seemed to flicker cheekily in her eyes. She gave off a completely different aura from Ai Qing, but her charm was equally strong.
Her figure was way too sexy, and even Zhou Yuan could not help but take a second glance. To his surprise, the girl called Jin Linger walked towards him with quick small steps, her wild eyes staring straight at him.
No one knew why Jin Linger was heading towards Zhou Yuan.
Under many curious gazes, Jin Linger arrived in front of Zhou Yuan. She looked him up and down several times before frowning a little. “You’re the Tianyuan Region’s Zhou Yuan?”
Zhou Yuan’s gaze flickered. “You’re the ones who wanted to meet me?”
Jin Linger did not reply. Soon after, she somewhat disappointedly said, “What the heck? Only the intermediate Heavenly Sun stage?
“Our Little Grandpa told us that the Tianyuan Region’s Zhou Yuan is an ultimate and unparalleled genius blessed by the heavens. He even said that we can’t compare to a single hair on his body...
“But from what I see,” she shook her head, “You’re nothing special.”

A World With or Without Aliens
Nothing matters. It's not my opinion, it's a scientific fact. This is neither good nor bad, it just... is. I watched my entire country burn, fried on a patriotic pan after some jerk fired a bunch of nukes at the docile fleet of alien ships hovering over us. Who gave this moron such power? I don't know. Everyone involved is most likely dead by now. As for me, I can't die. I feel pain like a normal person would (I think), but no matter how terrible the conditions, I will never die or pass out. Fortunately, a lot of alien technology survived its crash to Earth, so I get to spend some time playing with it until Mr. Author gets bored and decides to screw up my life. Beware, this has a "harem" tag. If you haven't figured it out yet, I'm the main character and am therefore subject to this novel's timeline. While this bars me from the sweet ignorance of Chapter 1's me, it does have other perks... for example, I can tell you that heroine number one is personally responsible for kil-!? H-hey, back off! I'm your character, so if you didn't want me to be like this, then you should've written me differently! Randomguy here! In all seriousness, this novel is meant to explore the concept of nihilism as a post-apocalyptic/supernatural-scifi/satire told from a nihilistic introvert's first-person perspective. As you heard from my unsettled main character, each heroine is going to be a different type of horrifying socio/psychopath with dark motives and dangerous abilities (most of which are psychological). Why would I do something like this? Because I am, in reality, a nihilist who is often frustrated by weird things, like unrealistically dramatic stories, the industrialization of art (specifically music), and people who think swimming in brown creekwater for five hours is a "fun" activity. Don't get me wrong, neither me nor my character are depressed, we're just malcontents who make a lot of nerd references. I feel like the true essence of an "everything is worthless" perspective is lost on most pop-culture figures. The closest character I can think of at the moment is Rick from Rick and Morty, who is a drunk, angry nihilist that experienced tremendous loss. I, personally, find this belligerent state of mind to be very relatable, and have incorperated it into every chapter's introduction. Here, the main character talks directly to the reader (and me), shamelessly complaining about some semi-relevant facet of society, which probably doesn't make much sense... it's not really supposed to, though. These "angry nihilist" moments are just a peak into the main character's everyday existence, and also act as miniature rage-journals for me. It will sometimes take a subjectively 'positive' turn, but not very often. This is because reality isn't good or bad, "it just... is". I will eventually bring it full-circle to optimistic nihilism, since that seems to be a more practical way to live (and by "practical", I mean "doesn't create mental health issues"). It is, of course, a satire. I did this because most unnecessarily emotional moments or people usually make me feel kind of awkward, so I decided to mock them. That is, I plan to mock the characteristics about them I don't like in characters based solely off said characteristics. Thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoy my story!

Hy'Ruh-Ha is a what I consider a chronicle fantasy. It is a fantasy drama coming of age story inspired by slice-of-life stories I've read and watched. It is heavy on the slice-of-life and does move slow. It is low-stakes fantasy. This particular story is romance free.(2 out the of 4 is re-uploaded under this title) And if you are someone who cares, the POV character is asexual. Crossroad(formally labeled as the intermission stories)- is a novella collection continuing the tale where Hy'ruh-Ha. The collection as followed: Wolf- After spending several months in the swamp post, Oeric'Sheldmartin returns to repair the chasm between him and his son, Soletus. However, a ghost from his past comes to haunt him and could ruin the life he's made completely. Note: Wolf is a bit of a character piece. POV character is Oeric. The Priest and the Priestess- A novella written in the POV of Mien and then Kiao after a series of unexpected events that change their lives. Mien's POV- Mien has spent the last couple of years working not only in the infirmary but training to become a combat chanter as part of his penitence.
