Dragon Prince Yuan Chapter 742

Everyone was shocked when the Cangxuan Saint Stamp was shattered.
The faces of sect master Qing Yang, the Heavenly Sword Sovereign and the other hegemons turned sluggish, clearly not expecting that someone would voluntarily destroy the Cangxuan Saint Stamp.
That was the most holy item that represented Cangxuan Heaven!
Wouldn’t anyone who obtained it do everything to make it their own?
Palace master Sheng Yuan was likewise dazed by this scene. Even someone who had experienced countless storms like him was unable to return to his senses for some time.
Fortunately, his dazed state did not last for long. His face rapidly distorted bit by bit.
“Brat, I will dismember your body into ten thousand pieces today!”
Palace master Sheng Yuan’s furious roar shook the world around him.
Zhou Yuan’s face remained unchanged. With a small jerk of his hand, the Cangxuan Saint Stamp turned into countless fragments swiftly shooting away.
These fragments directly pierced through space itself, vanishing from the spot in a flash.
They flew away in every direction. Wherever the fragments passed, the eyes of the many experts turned red. In the end, these experts were unable to resist the temptation, and they crazily dashed forward to stop the shards.
However, the Saint Stamp shards were filled with a life of their own and could fuse with the fabric of space itself, making it very difficult to stop them. Hence, although many experts tried, only a small handful managed to stop a few of the fragments.
Cries of surprise quickly followed.
The experts who managed to obtain a fragment immediately felt a faint resonance with the world around them. They had become more sensitive towards Genesis Qi.
What was more, some of the experts that had been stuck at a certain cultivation level for many years were even more shocked to discover that their long unmoving cultivation seemed to tremble a little at this moment.
Upon realizing the benefits of the Saint Stamp shards, everyone’s breathing grew heavier, especially when this information spread.
All the experts felt their blood begin to boil, no longer caring about the consequences as they quickly scattered and began to frantically stop the Saint Stamp shards.
The entire place immediately fell into chaos.
“All of you scram!”
However, while the various experts were trying to stop the fragments, palace master Sheng Yuan suddenly roared. With a swipe of his hand, Saint Genesis Qi swept forth and pulverized a dozen experts into pulp.
“Who dares to go after the Saint Stamp shards?!”
Palace master Sheng Yuan’s icy gaze swept across the area. The many experts seemed to freeze under his gaze, not daring to even move an inch.
After intimidating the many experts, palace master Sheng Yuan cast aside his plans of dealing with Yaoyao. The Saint Stamp fragments were continuously disappearing, and if he delayed any further, it would take him much more effort to find them in the future.
Palace master Sheng Yuan stomped his foot. Torrential Saint Genesis Qi surged out, transforming into a giant vortex. A terrifying suction force exploded, sucking over several shards.

“All Sacred Palace members hear my command, do everything you can to stop the Saint Stamp fragments!” commanded palace master Sheng Yuan.
The Sacred Palace experts quickly moved one after another.
However, the other five overlord sects, including the Heavenly Ghost Sect that had joined forces with the Sacred Palace, stopped fighting at this moment and instead turned their sights towards the Saint Stamp fragments.
Palace master Sheng Yuan’s eyes narrowed slightly as a chilling light flashed within them. However, he did not make any attempts to stop them this time because it would indeed be impossible for the Sacred Palace alone to stop all of these scattering fragments.
He would let the other five overlord sects toil for the moment. It would undoubtedly be more convenient for him to rob them of their hard work later on.
As time passed, the Sacred Stamp shards swiftly disappeared. Some of them landed in the hands of the various factions present, but even more had vanished from the area. Even palace master Sheng Yuan had been unable to stop them.
After all, even if they were fragments, they were fragments of the Cangxuan Saint Stamp and could perfectly fuse with the surrounding world.
Palace master Sheng Yuan looked at the hundred or so fragments floating above his hand with an expressionless face. When the Saint Stamp was shattered earlier, it had been split into at least ten thousand pieces. What he had now was less than one percent.
He kept the fragments with a wave of his sleeve. His murderous gaze then locked onto Zhou Yuan as he indifferently said, “Ant-like trash, you’re pretty good at bringing me trouble.
“However, do you think that the Cangxuan Saint Stamp is so easy to destroy?
“Let alone the likes of you, even patriarch Cang Xuan’s full power cannot destroy it. All you’re doing now is scattering it. Even if the Saint Stamp fragments can fuse with the world, they will still stand out and ultimately be discovered.
“As long as I collect all of these shards, they will naturally merge into the Saint Stamp once more!”
Zhou Yuan merely chuckled in response. “At the very least, you can’t obtain the Cangxuan Saint Stamp now.”
He was not wrong. If palace master Sheng Yuan did manage to gather all of the shards, he would naturally be able to recreate the Cangxuan Saint Stamp. But no matter how fast he was, it would take at least several years to find the fragments that had scattered to every corner of Cangxuan Heaven, right?
Moreover, some of the fragments had landed in the hands of the other overlord sects and numerous factions. All of them understood the benefits of these fragments, so who would willingly hand them over?
As such, the Sacred Palace would have no choice but to take the fragments through force.
This would pit all of the other factions against them. Moreover, even if palace master Sheng Yuan used forceful means, it would still take him longer to gather all the fragments.
These matters would undoubtedly give even palace master Sheng Yuan a headache.

Sure enough, palace master Sheng Yuan’s eyes grew increasingly frosty as he stared at Zhou Yuan. The killing intent within them had grown even greater than when he was facing patriarch Cang Xuan.
He had defeated patriarch Cang Xuan and triumphed over all the other overlord sects.
But when he was finally about to succeed, he never imagined that a mere Divine Dwelling ant would shatter the Cangxuan Saint Stamp and ruin his plans!
Even if all it did was delay the inevitable, palace master Sheng Yuan was still extremely angered.
“I will make you beg for death today!”
Palace master Sheng Yuan’s eyes were akin to a malicious spirit’s. With a wave of his sleeve, a torrent of Saint Genesis Qi whizzed out, turning into a giant palm as it viciously grabbed at Zhou Yuan.
He had already decided that he would extract Zhou Yuan’s Spirit and use Saint fire to burn him day and night, making him wail in pain for a hundred years!
Zhou Yuan gazed at the giant Genesis Qi hand that was sweeping towards him with torrential pressure. He could feel that the surrounding space had already been sealed, making it impossible for him to avoid it.
Boom!
However, a beautiful figure appeared in front of him just as the giant hand was about to land. Resplendent golden hair danced around her as she met the attack head on.
Boom!
The space around them crumbled as the giant hand was destroyed.
The figure was also thrown backwards, the trace of blood on her lips growing increasingly obvious.
“Yaoyao!”
Zhou Yuan hurriedly moved forward to support Yaoyao. Her fair skin was currently covered in faint cracks, a sight that made one shiver inside.
“Hehe, how touching. I will let you two die together like a pair of mandarin ducks!”
Palace master Sheng Yuan’s icy laughter rang out. His hands straightened, and their palms faced each other as if he were holding the sun and moon between them. Boundless Saint Genesis Qi rapidly converged.
A golden bead formed between his palms.
An extreme amount of Saint Genesis Qi had been compressed into this golden bead, causing the nearby space to fracture and crumble when it formed.
Palace master Sheng Yuan released the bead, allowing it to slowly rise into the air before gently drifting towards Zhou Yuan and Yaoyao.
The bead did not seem to move quickly, but it had already locked onto their Spirits, making it impossible to avoid.
Wherever the golden bead passed, the surrounding space continuously crumbled.
Sect master Qing Yang gritted his teeth when he saw the danger they were in and activated the little Cangxuan Saint Stamp, sending it flying towards palace master Sheng Yuan.
However, palace master Sheng Yuan did not even glance in its direction, and he sent it flying back with a wave of his hand. His eyelids raised as he nonchalantly said, “I’ll deal with you later.”
The destructive power within the golden bead made Yaoyao’s pretty face turn grave. She gently gritted her teeth and prepared to move forward.
However, Zhou Yuan reached out and grabbed her wrist.
Yaoyao turned her head and saw a sliver of madness on Zhou Yuan’s calm face.
“Yaoyao, I’ll stop him. You leave!”
There was a resolute look in his eyes. His power was of course unable to match Sheng Yuan. Hence, his only option was to detonate patriarch Cang Xuan’s remaining power to stop him.
He believed that Yaoyao would be able to escape without him burdening her.
Yaoyao gritted her teeth and shook her head.
“Go!” roared Zhou Yuan before he said in a soft voice, “If you can, please bring my father and mother along.”
As his voice rang out, his figure had already shot forward.
Yaoyao watched him dash forward. His figure was thin, but in her heart, it was akin to a mountain...
He knew that his strength was not enough to change anything, but he had never backed down in the slightest.
Perhaps, it was because of the promise he had made to Grandpa Black back then: if anyone wanted to hurt her, they would at the very least have to step over his corpse to do so...
Yaoyao’s eyes slowly lowered as she released a single soft laugh. Light rapidly flickered between her brows as the seal continued to fracture, and the cracks on her body grew clearer and clearer.
Amidst countless complicated gazes, Zhou Yuan’s figure flew through the air, heading straight for the approaching golden bead.
Zhou Yuan took a deep breath. He cast aside all hesitation and detonated patriarch Cang Xuan’s remaining power!
Shaking his head, palace master Sheng Yuan watched the scene with mockery. A mantis trying to stop a cart.
Dazzling light erupted from Zhou Yuan’s body, and his flesh began to disintegrate.
Sorrow emerged in the eyes of sect master Qing Yang and the others.
However, an instant before the power in Zhou Yuan’s body could fully detonate, the space in front of him was suddenly torn open, and a figure walked out. A finger seemed to pierce through space and landed between Zhou Yuan’s brows.
The explosive force inside his body was instantly calmed.
At the same time, the figure reached out its other hand and caught the golden bead. With a casual clench, the bead was crushed, turning into a sky full of glowing dots.
The sudden dissipation of power within his body stunned Zhou Yuan as he blankly looked towards his front.
A black-robed figure stood in the air.
His gaze shifted upwards, finding a somewhat helpless expression on an aged face.
This face seems to be rather familiar.
Zhou Yuan pondered for a moment before his pupils abruptly shrank.
The black-robed elder looked towards Yaoyao at this moment with a bitter smile and sighed.
“It’s alright now lass. Don’t make a mess any more…”
The light between Yaoyao’s brows abruptly paused before slowly disappearing as she dazedly stared at the elderly figure that had suddenly appeared. Her eyes turned a little red as she said in a very tiny voice, “Gran...Grandpa Black?”
