"Brother Chu Yan, Duan Jingtian is extremely powerful!"
Lu Dong said fearfully as he looked at Chu Yan.
Lu Dong was unlike Wei Lun. He did not hide the truth to protect his pride.
"How powerful is he?" Chu Yan asked.
"He is profound. I can't even take one blow from him!" Lu Dong took a deep breath and said grimly.
"Oh?" Chu Yan squinted his eyes when he heard what Lu Dong had said. Lu Dong can't even take one blow from Duan Jingtian!
That is astounding. Is Duan Jingtian's combat strength that powerful?
The rest of the disciples were shocked. Lu Dong was powerful and he was a Rank 1 Lower True God. However, he could not even take one blow from Duan Jingtian.
He is powerful!
Duan Jingtian's combat strength is mighty!
"Guess I'll have to do it myself!"
Chu Yan sighed. Duan Jingtian would have known that he was the one who had sent the disciples to create trouble for him.
Since things had turned out that way, he would have to do it personally.
"What level is he at?" Chu Yan asked coldly.
"Level 11. He should be heading further down!" Lu Dong replied.
Chu Yan nodded. In a flash, he had entered the Lava Pool.
…
Deep inside Lava Pool.
Su Mo had reached level 16, and the flame was extremely strong.
He had to merge the Five Elements Dark Force with the Chaotic Energy to protect himself.
That was the only way he could defend against such a powerful flame.
He was at ease there as he only saw a few disciples once in a while.
When he reached level 16, there was basically no one around.
It was impossible for ordinary Empty Gods to reach level 16.
Even the disciples at the True God Realm might not be able to get to level 16.
Swoosh!
Su Mo continued to head down. As each level was not too deep apart, he reached level 17 in no time.
The magma on level 17 was silver in color. The Fire Based Power was so mighty that it caused Su Mo's Chaotic Energy to sizzle and evaporate rapidly.
"What a strong Fire Based Power!"
Su Mo was amazed. Although the Fire Based Power was mighty, he was still able to fend it off.

He continued to move to level 18.
Soon, he entered level 18 and saw that the magma had turned red gold.
Sizzle…
Su Mo's Chaotic Energy continued to evaporate. At that instant, he had fully activated his Blood Force.
"Where is the Fire Spirit?" Su Mo started to look for the Fire Spirit. Level 18 was the lowest level. As long as he could catch one Fire Spirit, he would accomplish his goal.
Su Mo was excited. He had never expected it to be that easy to earn Dawn Stones in the Lava Cave.
When one entered level one, they would obtain five Dawn Stones. For every subsequent level, the Dawn Stones would multiply.
One would receive 10 Dawn Stones at level two. At level three, it would be 20 Dawn Stones, and 40 Dawn Stones at level four. The number of Dawn Stones would continue to multiply.
Su Mo estimated that he would be able to receive 1,310,000 Dawn Stones since he had reached level 18.
That was a huge amount. Even the Sky Tyrant Clan at God's Path did not have that many Dawn Stones!
"Is that not too much of an exaggeration?" Su Mo thought to himself as he was looking around for the Fire Spirit.
By getting into the Lava Cave, he would be able to receive 1,310,000 Dawn Stones. That would be shocking if the news were to spread!
However, Su Mo stopped thinking about it after a while.
Since Human Palace had set up the rules, they must have possessed that number of Dawn Stones.
Moreover, there were many Dawn Stones in the Deity Plane and there was no way the Lower Plane could compete with them.
"This is strange. There is no Fire Spirit around!" After searching for a while, Su Mo did not see any Fire Spirit around and he became a little frustrated.
The Fire Based Power was too strong in level 18 and that had impeded his vision and Holy Senses.
Moreover, the area was vast and there seemed to be no end to it.
I have to find one Fire Spirit quickly!
Su Mo said to himself as he increased his speed. Although he was powerful, he could not hold on for too long.

…
"Where has he gone?"
As Su Mo was searching for a Fire Spirit, Chu Yan was searching for Su Mo at level 14.
Chu Yan knew that Su Mo was powerful and thus he started to search for Su Mo from level 13. He then went to level 14 but he still could not find Su Mo.
"He must be at level 15!"
Chu Yan reckoned. He continued to go further down and soon, he had reached level 15.
However, he was dismayed as he still could not find Su Mo at level 15.
"Could he be at level 16?" Chu Yan was shocked at the thought. Given his strength, he had already felt great pressure at level 15.
If Duan Jingtian is at level 16, he must be extremely powerful.
After pondering for a while, Chu Yan entered level 16.
However, he was frustrated when he saw no sign of Duan Jingtian at level 16.
"How can that be? Could he be at level 17?" Chu Yan was astounded. If Duan Jingtian had managed to enter level 17, his strength would be on par with his.
Chu Yan gritted his teeth and made his way to level 17. He had protected his body with rich Origin Energy and his body was shining brightly.
Chu Yan had activated his Blood Force as well, and a mighty aura was surging around him.
Chu Yan had to withstand great pressure when he entered level 17, and the Origin Energy around his body dispersed rapidly.
"Crap! Where has he gone?"
After searching through level 17, Chu Yan was fuming with anger as he could not find Duan Jingtian.
At this level, there was basically no one around for him to inquire.
"Has he gone up?" Chu Yan reckoned. Although the 17 levels did not occupy a large area, it was not small either.
He might have missed Duan Jingtian as the Fire-based Power had deterred his Holy Senses and vision.
Duan Jingtian might have gone up in the other direction without his knowledge.
"That is possible!"
Chu Yan stopped moving and he looked indecisive. He believed that Duan Jingtian had not gone to level 18 as that was impossible.
Even he dared not enter level 18.
Most importantly, the Lava Cave had been around for eons.
Throughout the ages, only 12 Outer Palace Disciples had managed to enter level 18 although they were not at the True God Realm.
Could Duan Jingtian be at level 18?
That is impossible!
Chu Yan sighed. He shot up immediately and headed out of the Laval Pool.
He did not catch any Fire Spirits. Although the Lava Cave was open to the Inner Disciples, they would not be rewarded if they caught any Fire Spirit.
A few of the Inner Disciples came to the Lava Cave as they were cultivating the Fire Properties. They were there merely to absorb the Fire Based Power.
…
This is strange. There is no Fire Spirit around!
Su Mo was depressed as he could not find any Fire Spirit at level 18 after searching around for some time.
The area was vast and there seemed to be no end to it.
I don't have much time left!
Su Mo took a deep breath. His Chaotic Energy was left with less than 20 percent and he had to find a Fire Spirit and leave the place quickly.
Su Mo hastened his speed and continued to search around. He had also activated his Great Rotating Sacred Sword Primordial Spirit.
The powerful sword formation tore the magma that was in front of Su Mo to make way for him and that helped to hasten his speed.
"Eh?"
Suddenly, Su Mo saw a golden beacon, about the size of a fist, in the magma in front of him.
The golden beacon was shining brightly like a small golden sun.
"What is that?" Su Mo went near it slowly. He did not sense any dangerous aura from the golden beacon.
Soon, he was less than 12 centimeters away from the golden beacon.
"What is this? Is it a Fire Spirit?"
Su Mo studied it for a while. He did not find any abnormality in the golden beacon and it was not hot.
After pondering for a while, he triggered a thought and tried to take the golden beacon.
Whoosh!
In an instant, the golden beacon disappeared into his Space Bangle.
