《Warrior’s Promise》Warrior's Promise

Despite everyone's rage, no one had said anything.
After all, Tu Ying was really powerful. There was a high possibility that he could emerge as champion.
Immediately, Tu Ying kept quiet and walked down the platform with a smile.
The next contest continued.
The contestant was Yin Changsheng, a saint from the Undying Tribe. He was ranked seventh out of the ten saints on the God's Path.
Yin Changsheng's power was equally superb. he took down his opponent in the first strike.
The contest proceeded ahead.
However, after the duel between You Tian and Tu Ying, most of the contestants were gloomy. They had lost their fervent animosity.
Perhaps it was due to the indomitable fighting ability of Tu Ying. That might have affected the contestants.
"Aye!"
Su Mo heard a gentle sigh. When he turned to the source, he saw Long Daotian heaving a sigh.
The crowd was away from the platform when the fight between You Tian and Tu Ying was going on. Su Mo and Long Laotian were gathered together where the Dragon Tribe was.
"What happened? You have lost some confidence?" Su Mo asked with a smile.
"I have faith in becoming the second runner-up!" Long Daotian added. He was not bragging. He knew for sure that he had lost the first place. He had resigned himself to being the second runner-up.
After saying this, Long Daotian turned his head to face Su Mo and jested: "You too have lost the champion position. If you are able to get into the top ten, it will be fantastic."
"Perhaps!"
Su Mo shrugged. He had no intention to argue with Long Daotian. He turned away to look at Long Xun and asked, "Elder, do you know if Tu Ying is leveraging from any Fighting Soul or Blood Force?"
"Not at all!"
Long Xun shook his head and said, "There is no Fighting Soul nor Blood Force in an ancient god's body. Simply because he is not human."
"Oh yes!" Su Mo nodded. If Tu Ying had no Fighting Soul or Blood Force, then his superb prowess would be hard to evaluate.
At this instant, Su Mo was troubled. Tu Ying's capabilities should surpass Tuo Si's.
He had made a commitment to the Dragon Tribe that he would be the champion. If he had lost, it would be a slap in the face.

Furthermore once he lost the fight, the Sky Tyrant Clan would attack him and the Dragon Tribe would not provide him with any assistance.
"How can I enhance my prowess within a short time?" Su Mo wondered. he turned to look at Gongcheng Tai Hao who was standing a distance away.
If he was able to merge with Gongcheng Tai Hao, his prowess would be reinforced.
However at this instant, the feat of merging with Gongcheng Tai Hao seemed too far-fetched.
Afterall, there were several masters of Rank 4 Empty God Realm from the Sky Tyrant Clan. Especially its chief Li Tong. He was obviously more powerful than Li Shi.
It was as if there was telepathic connection between Su Mo and Gongcheng Tai Hao, the latter looked at Su Mo with spite and mockery in his gaze.
Su Mo was not bothered with Gongcheng Tai Hao. He was in deep thought. He had formidable prowess at this moment. Ever since he had had a breakthrough in the Empty God Realm, he had yet to execute a blow with all his power.
Even he himself had no idea how powerful he could get.
In his previous fight with Tuo Si, he had delivered two blows and he had not given his full potential. He harboured great expectations to defeat Tu Ying.
Afterall, he had mighty fighting force. He also held a triumph card which was his Ancient Dream Fighting Soul.
However, Tu Ying was unpredictable. No one knew how powerful he would be.
Therefore, Su Mo felt insecure. He needed to guarantee his winning chance.
Within a short span of time, it would have been impossible to raise himself up by two ranks of Empty God Realm. It would be too slow to enhance the Ultimacy.
He quickly thought about the Immortal Chaotic Body.
He wondered if he could still master the Immortal Chaotic Body despite his attainment of the Empty God Realm. Perhaps this might be workable?
Su Mo decided to give it a try. After all, no one would pick him as an opponent. It was now up to him to pick his opponents.
"Su Mo, I have not asked that you become the champion, as long as you are within the top ten, it will be good enough!"

At this point, Long Chao had heard the conversation between Su Mo, Long Laotian and Long Xun. He stole a glance at Su Mo.
"Rest assured Chief. I shall not disappoint you!" Su Mo answered positively, despite the fact that he was at a loss for words in his heart.
If he had only the ability to be within the top ten, he would not have participated in this challenge.
After all, if he was unable to match Li Qianjue, he would have perished.
"Sure!" Long Chao nodded. If Su Mo was able to get into the top ten and attributed his win to the Dragon Tribe, that contribution would be a worthwhile and meaningful one.
As he watched the duels taking place on the platform, Su Mo muttered and turned his palms. A jade bangle appeared in his palms.
"Long Teng, please hold on to this Space Bangle. I shall enter it to consolidate my powers!" Su Mo spoke to Long Teng, who stood just behind him.
"Consolidate powers?" Long Teng was stunned. At this critical moment, Su Mo wanted to consolidate his powers?
"Yes, I will need a short while to breakthrough my cultivation and do some consolidation!" Su Mo explained briefly.
He felt it was safe to entrust the jade bangle to Long Teng. He knew that Long Teng would do him no harm.
Long Chao, Long Daotian and other folks from the Dragon Tribe were perplexed. Su Mo had wanted to clasp the Buddha's feet when danger was about to arise?
"Okay!" Long Teng nodded and held the jade bangle in his hands.
Immediately, Su Mo meditated on his thoughts and entered into the jade bangle.
He attached his Spiritual consciousness onto the Space Jade Bangle. He intended to watch the duels from within. When it was his turn, he would come out.
Su Mo's sudden disappearance was instantly discovered by Li Qianjue from the Sky Tyrant Clan and Wu Zuo from the Sorcerer Tribe.
They were initially bewildered. However when they found out at Su Mo was hiding in the Space Jade Bangle, they were greatly relieved.
They had initially thought that Su Mo had wanted to escape. As long as Su Mo did not do so, they would be all right.
Within the jade bangle.
Su Mo closed his eyes and sat cross-legged.
The most important mark in the mastery of the Grand Chaos Five Elements Skill would be to master the Eternal Chaotic Body.
There were two stages to the Eternal Chaotic Body. In the first stage it would be the Immortal Chaotic Body.
Once the Immortal Chaotic Body was created, the second stage could begin and it would become the Eternal Chaotic Body.
Simply put, the Immortal Chaotic Body was made from the principles of Chaotic and Immortal. That was to use the Chaotic Energy to create an Immortal Body.
This point was somewhat similar to the breakthrough at Rank Two Empty God Realm. However there were a few differences.
"If I am able to attain the Immortal Chaotic Body, it may be easier for me to break through to the Rank Two Empty God Realm."
Su Mo was thinking aloud. Subsequently, he started to meditate to practise the Immortal Chaotic Body.
Easier said than done, the mastery process was actually quite tough.
The method was to use the Chaotic Energy in the Sage Pill to form a natural Big Trend.
The foundation of the Big Trend would be his body, skeleton, Qi and blood and Spiritual Soul.
He would need to merge all he had into this Big Trend to form a perfect entity.
Under the influence of the Big Trend, his prowess would increase. The most important thing was that the Big Trend would be indomitable. It would inflate his physical body size phenomenally.
Even if the physical body was crushed, the Big Trend would not collapse thoroughly.
In other words, even if the physical body was crushed, under the influence of the Big Trend, the body would be instantly repaired, as if it were indestructible.
Of course, there would be a baseline to everything. If he was attacked by a True God in the Deity Plane, the Immortal Chaotic Body would be destroyed.
"Sshhhhhhh....!"
Su Mo muttered in a low voice. He began to diligently organise the process to master the Immortal Chaotic Body. After a few short moments, he indulged into its practice.

The 8th Day
One day life is good. The next day it isn't! The boundaries between... well, whatever they're between.. have shattered! Monsters burst out from cracks in the universe, and reality suddenly begins to function similar to a game -- but not a game that anyone knows all the rules about! Magic is suddenly real, but so are monsters and death! Lots of death! And the worst part of it all? I think we did it to ourselves! We invented video games, and personally I think that great Finger-in-the-Sky picked up a console somewhere and started playing them. Since He liked what he saw, he must've declared, """"On the 8th Day, let there be Game!"But what do I know about it all, really. After all, I'm just """"The Witness"""" forced to observe it all.__________________________________________________________________________Author's Note: There's a lot of tales where characters get stuck in a Virtual Reality. """"Sword Art Online"""", """"Log Horizon"""", """"The Legendary Moonlight Sculptor"""". This is a story told with the premise inverted -- instead of a person from reality going into a virtual world, what would happen if the virtual world instead came to reality?I want this tale to speak about the aspects of the game, as it has affected the current reality, but the focus of the story should never be on the """"reality-turned-game"""" itself, but on the characters and their oh-so-human struggles, personalities, and attempt to adjust and live within the bounds of their new existence. Hopefully this won't just be a story of """"reality turned into a game"""", but instead will be something more meaningful such as a story of the strengths, perseverance, and humanity of man-kind as they try to adapt and face the unknown.*** And, most importantly, I hope everyone enjoys reading it as much as I've enjoyed writing it. ***WARNING: RATED MATURE M[18+] FOR GORE, SEX, VIOLENCE. The apocalypse isn't a pretty place to try to survive in, and neither is every scene in a story trying to describe it.

(DEMO) Colorless vol.1- Phantamoire Enigmata
This is a demo volume consisting only seven chapters. The sole reason of this publication is to show the world a glimpse of the project. Therefore, the final quality of the product will be lot more refined and polished. This demo might get deleted from RoyalRoad after the actual publication. Synopsis: "Knights wearing their shining armor serving righteous justice riding their glorious horses." We all have heard that story- Heroes who do the right in the purest way without any tampering. But, is it really that easy? Is the world and it's heroes really that pure? After all... fairytale is just a lie. I might be the first author in the world who despises writing. I haven't read any story books or novel in my entire life but children's story book (not even ten of them). So, why do I write? Simple answer- the story. Inexperienced I may be but I believe my project and it's quality. The actual story will be posted somewhere in 2019. The story will be devided into 7/8 volumes and 90 (approx.) chapters. I have been working on this project for 1 year now. It took me 5 months to finalize the concept and plot, 7 months for the story and it's already been 6 months in writing along with 2 times of total revamp.

I Have Even Read the Rulebook!
As all stories begin, Prof died. Yes, truck-kun had something to do with that, but also a bird, a cat and some rebar. When he was presented with with the opportunity in the Afterlife Administration Bureau to be transmigrated into a game-like fantasy world, he did something, no one ever did: he read the Rulebook. Follow Prof on his road to be rich without working, touring a whole new world without a care and witness his realisation, that despite having read the Rulebook the folks living with the System for untold millennia know more about the rules. Important notes: 1, I'm not a native speaker, so be prepared for occassional typos, iffy grammar and maybe awkward sentences. The spell check was running, when I wrote the chapters, but it works in strange ways... If you point out mistakes, I will try to correct them 2, Scheduling will be two chapters a week, posted Saturdays before noon (CET). Depending on how much new chapters I can write consistently there will be probably more but as long as I have leftover chapters, the two per week will be posted no matter what. Chapters will be around 1500-2500 words as MS Word counts it. 3, I did not and will not post this novel on another site, if you find it somewhere else, please inform me 4, The Main Character's progression is slow, there will be no Levels, Skills, Abilities, Feats, Perks and Cheat Powers raining down on him 5, I've put Comedy as a genre because of my writing style not because the novel is a comedy per se. On the other hand, Traumatising Content is there because there is a lot of speciesism - those Elves are not nice people. 6, I put a lot of pop-cultural references into the chapters, try to find them! Enjoy!
