Boom! 

A loud, explosive sound followed by a pitch-black disc spun like a sharp tooth and tore apart the Chaotic Sword Qi.

Once the disc was torn apart by the Sword Qi, its strength decreased tremendously but it maintained its original speed as it headed for Su Mo's chest. 

"How is it that strong?" Su Mo was instantly surprised. As expected of the Ancient Demon Tribe, a Rank 2 Empty God was as strong as Rank 3 Empty God Wu Zuo. 

However, Su Mo was only slightly taken aback. He had yet to showcase his top strength. 

The disc spun quickly and instantly tore space apart as it headed towards Su Mo. 

In the blink of an eye, Su Mo raised his sword and blocked the disc.

The black disc smashed heavily against the Purple Virtual Sword like a strong handprint. 

Terrifying forces exploded apart as the earth shook wildly and Demon Qi spurted out in all directions.

Su Mo retreated as fast as he could, instantly travelling through a few kilometers as he was unable to withstand the strong forces.

The rolls of Demon Qi were unable to harm him. 

"He actually blocked it?" Tuo Si's eyebrows furrowed together. As expected of the demon talent Su Mo, at the Rank 1 Empty God Realm, Su Mo was able to dodge his Ancient Demon Disc. 

Although he had not used the peak of the disc, it could still easily kill a Rank 3 Empty God and it wasn't something a Rank 1 Empty God could stand up to. 

"Su Mo, I will see how long you can take this!" Tuo Si's body shot towards the sky and instantly reached the high skies. 

Su Mo's strength had incited his fighting spirit. After years of cultivation, no one could compare to him in the same cultivation rank aside from Ancient God Tu Ying. 

However, on this day, a mere Rank 1 Empty God had actually blocked his blow. This unsettled him and he couldn't help raising his killing intent.

At that point, the two men had reached a point at which they were no longer willing to hold back anything in preparing to kill their foe. 

However, their battle had shaken their surroundings. 

In all directions, numerous air-rending sounds shot out as many strong martial artists arrived at the scene of the battle to watch it. 

Su Mo frowned instantly. It was a crucial time for him and if his location was exposed, it would be unfavourable for him. 

"Su Mo, if you meet me again in the Dawn Stone Mine Contest, I will kill you!" 

Tuo Si's face also fell as he noticed the large group of martial artists gathered around him. He instantly shouted to Su Mo. 

With that, he didn't hesitate further and turned to leave. 

He was also in a tight spot as he was the top talent in God's Path. There were too many people who wanted to kill him and that was the reason why he didn't like to expose his identity. 

As such, he chose to abandon killing Su Mo then. He would have plenty of chances in the future.

Su Mo was under the Dragon Tribe's protection, he would represent the Dragon Tribe to attend the Dawn Stone Mine Contest. This was a known fact. 

As such, Tuo Si knew that he had plenty of chances to kill Su Mo. 

Furthermore, during the contest, he might not even need to take action, Li Qianjue of the Sky Tyrant Tribe might take care of Su Mo for him.

Looking at Tuo Si fleeing, Su Mo stared closely after him but he abandoned the thought of chasing after Tuo Si. 

"During the contest, you, Wu Zuo and Li Qianjue must all die!" 

Su Mo scoffed coldly before he immediately activated the Invisible Fighting Soul and took off in the opposite direction. 

It wasn't that he didn't want to kill Tuo Si, but he was now exposed and his location revealed. He was in a dangerous position. 

A few moments later, Su Mo was about a few kilometers away from the dense forest when he stopped. 

He did not return to Green City as his identity was already exposed by Tuo Si. 

As Su Mo lowered himself onto the ground, he scanned his surroundings but did not find anyone else.

With that, Su Mo waved his hand and a green light flashed out. Ling Chang appeared before him. 

At the same time that Ling Chang appeared, she slowly opened her eyes. 

Seeing that the black-robed man was no longer around, Ling Chang immediately understood that Su Mo had rescued her.

"It should be alright already!" Ling Chang shook her head slightly. 

"Alright?" Su Mo's eyes shone brightly. Was Ling Chang lying to him or was she really alright?

This made Su Mo confused. After all, he still wanted to control Ling Chang. 

"Do you still want to control me?" 

As though she could read Su Mo's mind, Ling Chang's face fell as she asked softly. 

"Um…!" Su Mo stuttered in surprise as an awkward expression crossed his face. He had not imagined that Ling Chang would be able to see through his intentions. 

Looking at Su Mo's expression, Ling Chang let out another sigh, "I understand your intentions. You hope that I will disappear and that Hong Qingxuan will return, but you are wrong!" 

"What do you mean?" Su Mo frowned. 

"That is because I am Hong Qingxuan!" 

Ling Chang's eyes stared closely at Su Mo and she continued in a low voice, "Hong Qingxuan's memories, Yun Youyou's memories and Ling Chang's memories have all merged into one and they cannot be separated. In other words, I am Ling Chang, Hong Qingxuan and Yun Youyou all at once. Aside from myself, no one else can make me throw aside Ling Chang's memories!" 

Su Mo was silent as he took in Ling Chang's words. Was that the truth? 

Or was Ling Chang purposely trying to bluff him and drag for time? 

At that point, Su Mo started to hesitate as to whether or not he should take action. 

"Brother Su Mo, do you remember what you said before?" 

Ling Chang spoke again but her voice was softer and gentler than before. An awkward smile stretched across her pure and clean face. 

At that, Su Mo's heart jumped. This was Hong Qingxuan, it was Hong Qingxuan's tone and personality. 

Not waiting for Su Mo to reply, Ling Chang continued, "You said that you would revive senior even if you had to travel the world. Even if you have to walk to the ends of it, you will still save senior. That is why you cannot waste your time on me." 

Su Mo was silent at Ling Chang's words. Ling Chang was referring to Qian Xunyue as her senior. Qian Xunyue had died to save him. 

In an instant, Su Mo's heart was in turmoil. He wanted to revive Qian Xunyue but he also wanted to get Qingxuan to return. 

"Brother Su Mo, goodbye!"

As she spoke, Ling Chang took steps backward from Su Mo.

With Ling Chang going further and further away from him, Su Mo asked in a hurry, "Let me ask you, is there a way to save Qian Xunyue in Deity Plane?" 

Su Mo's masculine voice rang through the firmament and reached Ling Chang's ears. 

"Yes!" 

A firm reply left Ling Chang's mouth and with that, her figure sped away into the distance. 

"Alright then!" Su Mo took in a heavy sigh. He couldn't help scoffing slightly. 

He had wanted to seek Ling Chang's help and see if she had some secret technique to find Xi'er.

Yet, he had not imagined that things would boil down to that.
