Chapter 2142: Demon Shadow

A beautiful Crystal Hall stood tall at Dark Ice Mansion. Bing Yan sat on the main seat, with the burly youth standing below.

“Do you mean Su Mo has left Dark Ice City?” Bing Yan asked the burly youth.

“Yes. He has left Dark Ice City!” The burly youth replied. He did not tell Bing Yan that Su Mo had captured him.

After all, he was a genius of Dark Ice Tribe. If others came to know that he had been captured by Su Mo, who was at the same rank as him, it would be humiliating for him.

Thus, he did not tell Bing Yan about it.

“Forget it. Since he has left, let him be!” Bing Yan waved her hand. If Su Mo was an Empty God, she would think of ways to recruit him.

Since he was merely a Great Completion Realm Martial Sage, it was not worth spending her time on him.

“Sister Bing Yan, we cannot let him off. I saw that he was headed for Mo Kong City. If he joins Mo Kong City, he will become our enemy in the future!” The burly youth said anxiously. He wanted Bing Yan to deal with Su Mo to avenge him.

When Bing Yan heard what the burly youth had said, she pondered for a while. After that, she shook her head and said, “Mo Kong City is not far from Silver Ice City. He should have reached Mo Kong City by now!”

“This…!” The burly youth was speechless, and he looked gloomy.

The most powerful person should be the Governor!

Su Mo said to himself as he walked in the Mansion. If he wanted to rob them of the Chaotic Dawn Stones, he had to capture Governor.

After all, there did not seem to be many Dawn Stones around. The Governor should have the resources of Mo Kong City.

People of their level would bring along their precious treasures with them. They would not leave them in the treasure vault.

Su Mo followed the aura and moved toward the most powerful person in the Mansion.

There were three Rank 2 Empty Gods in Mo Kong City and there were two of them at the Mansion.

One of them had a weaker aura and Su Mo went to the one with the stronger aura.

He fully activated his Invisible Fighting Soul and although the Fighting Soul was not powerful, it was still doing a good job as Su Mo had used his powerful mental strength to activate it.

He had no idea if the Invisible Fighting Soul would be able to help him hide away from a Rank 2 Empty God, but he had no other choice.

The moment he had been discovered, he would use force.

As his Sage Pill had been damaged, he would have to depend on his physical strength or his Blood Force if he had to use force. He would try to avoid using his Chaotic Energy or Sage Pill lest it became unstable.

Soon, Su Mo went near a hall and he could hear people talking.

He slowly flew to the entrance of the hall and saw a middle-aged man with a big built reprimanding two youths.

The two youths were Martial Sages, and the middle-aged man was a Rank 2 Empty God.

Su Mo hid in the space like a spirit and went near the middle-aged man.

At the same time, he had prepared himself to strike at the middle-aged man at any time.

Su Mo went nearer to the middle-aged man, and he was still reprimanding the two youths.

The middle-aged man noticed a fluctuation in the space and he tried to move away.

A big hand stretched out like a metal claw and grabbed him by the throat.

The Chaotic Energy flowed out like a sword and stabbed into the middle-aged man’s body.

The middle-aged man cried out and spurted blood.

The scene caught the two youths by surprise and they were dumbstruck. They had no idea what had taken place as they did not see anyone around.

“Who are you?”

The middle-aged man looked angrily at the space in front of him and shouted. Although he did not see the enemy, he felt the presence of the person who had seized him.

“I would like to borrow your storage ring!”

Su Mo said and he took away the storage ring from the middle-aged man.

“You…!” The middle-aged man looked pale. However, he dared not move as he knew that he would be killed if he reacted.

“See you!”

After Su Mo had taken the storage ring from the middle-aged man, he laughed and flew off.

He did not kill the middle-aged man as he bore no grudge against him.

“Crap!” The middle-aged man hurried out of the hall but Su Mo had already disappeared.

The middle-aged man was fuming with anger. His storage ring had been stolen and he had lost all of his resources. Worst of all, he did not even get to see the enemy’s face.

Could he be from Dark Shadow Tribe? The middle-aged man wondered. Other than the Dark Shadow Tribe, no one else had the ability to be invisible.

After Su Mo had left the Mansion, he departed from Mo Kong City. His strength had weakened tremendously and he had to leave Mo Kong City as soon as possible.

That was to prevent Mo Kong City from forcing him to show up.

This is quite a good harvest!

Su Mo checked through the storage ring and looked pleased. There were many top-grade Spiritual Crystals, around 10,000,000 of them.

Most importantly, there were around 300 Dawn Stones.

The Dawn Stones were easily differentiated from the Spiritual Crystals. The colors were darker and there were various colors

Some of the Dawn Stones were red, and those were the Fire Dawn Stones. Some of them were blue and they were the Water Dawn Stones.

Most of them were grey and they emitted Earth Based Force. Those were the Earth Dawn Stones.

It is a pity that there is no Chaotic Dawn Stone! Su Mo sighed. There were around 300 Dawn Stones but there were no Chaotic Dawn Stones among them.

Su Mo put away the Dawn Stones and headed toward the other cities.

For the next three days, he flew to more than 10 cities and robbed them of their resources.

However, Su Mo did not succeed at every attempt and he failed twice.

One of the times was due to the strong Mental Perceptivity of the opponent and he had already noticed Su Mo when he was far away.

Su Mo simply left and did not exchange blows with him.

Su Mo failed at the second attempt as the opponent was in seclusion and Su Mo decided to leave him alone.

He was cautious. He had to ensure his own safety as he was weak.

Su Mo appeared on a piece of grassland and sighed. Although he had robbed the cities of 3,000 Dawn Stones, none of them was a Chaotic Dawn Stone.

It is rare to find a Chaotic Dawn! Su Mo was speechless and he started to frown.

Back then, when he was in Infinite Region, he was still able to get a low-grade Dawn Stone. However, he was unable to get a Chaotic Dawn Stone at God’s Path!

He started to feel depressed. Without the Chaotic Dawn Stone, he would not be able to regain his strength.

When Su Mo thought of it, he became excited. He then flew toward Silver Ice City in a flash.

God’s Path was a chaotic place. It would not be a good idea to try merging the Chaotic Power Sources in the open. Su Mo felt that it would be safer for him to return to Silver Ice City.

A Demon Shadow had appeared out of nowhere like a spirit and he had robbed the rulers of more than 10 cities of their resources.

The martial artists were shocked and they wondered who the Demon Shadow was. How could he be so audacious!

Suddenly, the top powers from the various cities were fuming with anger. However, most of them were taken aback by the power of the Demon Shadow.

Within a short while, the Demon Shadow was well-known in the surrounding region.
